New to the forum and made a post earlier regarding my goal to lose fat and reach a lower body weight after years of fluctuating between being fit and being overweight.

I’m currently taking 4 reta, started at 0.5mg for 1 week, then 1mg, then 2.5mg for 2 weeks and now upped to 4mg.

I went from overweight in high school (130kg+) to quite fit playing sports and lifting 4-6x week at 95-100kg Images around 2020 weighing 95kg~

I then got into powerlifting and sat around 103-106kg, numbers in comp were S: 242.5kg B: 135kg D: 247.5kg Gym numbers being B: 140kg and D: 270kg Image around 2022 weighing 105kg~

Around 2021 i stopped training for 5-6montbs gained weight was out of shape and overweight, then i lost the weight again - Mid 2022 stopped powerlifting and gained the weight back and was in the same position. Come around to late 2023 and i’d lost the weight yet another time and was lifting for pumps, training bjj, running and doing HIIT training. Photo late 2023 weighing 98-100kg

Fast forward to late 2024 and i was the heaviest id been for a number of years, weighing 121kg in July, i’ve since lost 10kg and at the moment plan to continue eating in a deficit until i’m atleast under 100kg again
Progress so far:

and was advised to start a log.
I made that post to ask for advice on a test e only cycle for 16 weeks during this cut, (200-300mg/week, arimadex throughout, Hcg 750iu/week and nolvadex 8 week pct. If i was to do this cycle i would want the best chances at as close to full recovery of natural test i can get. Please feel free to tell me why this could be a good idea or a bad one, it’s not something i’m definitely going to do - I’ve just been thinking about it for a while now (i hear good things about test and reta, i also hear test is wasted on a cut, although im not too concerned with maximising gains, just want to get lean). Up until this point i’ve not taken any peds outside of cardarine and andarine 5 months ago when just getting back into training.

Currently i run 2x week (intervals because i’m high body weight and fat and don’t want to destroy my joints getting back into it), HIIT and calisthenics training 3x week and am reintroducing lifting after only occasionally lifting over the past year.

I currently take no supplements outside of Retatrutide and MT2.

Diet the past month consists of eggs cottage cheese steak avocados honey kimchi occasionally chicken beef mince rice etc. Getting about 1800-2000 cals a day

Thanks for the reply bro, I don’t have bloodwork currently but if i was to start a test cycle i’d be getting it done beforehand. I can post pics of the reta soon.

I’ve been more focused on CICO, through the week i’ll have the same thing most days being 4 eggs 166g cottage cheese and honey, dinner is 250g rump steak 2 eggs an avocado kimchi and cottage cheese again sometimes - with this and another usually frozen meal (chicken and rice, beef and rice etc) my macros through the week usually land at 140-160g protein 100g~ carbs 90g fat. Weekends i’ll have the same lunch although dinner varies within the same 1800-2200 calorie range total for the day. TDEE around 3k.

I train sport focused HIIT workouts 3x week with some calisthenics thrown in and run twice a week. Looking to reintroduce lifting soon but would definitely do so if i was to jump on cycle.

I take no extra supplements at the moment and appreciate any suggestions on what would benefit my goals of being fit, conditioned and strong

we would need to up your protein more and we can boost fats a bit, lets try for clean meats

I know my protein could be higher, i’ll definitely get it up a bit. I think i haven’t been too worried about with the appetite suppression with reta.

I do probably about 4-5 hours of cardio a week. The HIIT stuff is a mix of short runs, heavy bag workouts, plenty of push ups/sit ups/burpee/squats/other body weight stuff etc. Lots of conditioning work. The two runs a week are 3-4 minutes running then 1-2 walking for half an hour or so while i get my fitness back. I’m not struggling with recovery just the usual fatigue you might expect on a cut but i’m still a quite high body fat so coping well. I know it’s preemptive but do you have any input on the consideration of a test cycle provided bloods are all good?
 
Hey bud, welcome! goood log.. looking fwd to see your progress in the near future.

As for someone who struggled with being overweight until a couple of years ago, I honestly recommend getting as lean as possible before even considering any PEDs. You’re also too young to be messing with Test E an all the AI blockers. Trust me, it’s not worth the long-term risks. but at the end of the day is your decision.

I’d focus on running RETA ONLY and dropping those extra pounds first. I went through the GLP-1/2/3 journey last year under medical supervision, so I can share my experience and tips.

You should start with 15 units for the first 4 weeks or .15mL insulin syrenge. Give your body time to adjust, and if the “food noise” goes away and you are losing 1-2 pounds or more a week then stay at that dose!!! No need to go higher! It’s also cheaper for you. $$$ When you start feeling like you want to eat more, then bump the dose to 25 units.

With your age, weight, and height, 25 units should be enough, and you’ll avoid most side effects like dizziness, headaches, diarrhea, or constipation etc.. Also, it looks like you are active and are currently working hard to hit your goals. if you keep it up and do cardio and lhit the gym hard, you will get leaner and build the lean muscle :cool: when you get to a 12-15% body fat or lower, then you can start reserching for a Test cycle.

Thanks bro that is my plan at the moment - i do 50 units currently, 4mg. started 5 weeks ago and worked up to 4mg, I haven’t had any negative sides yet but i will stay at 4mg for the next month and if all is well i’ll continue at 4mg

I’ve been using myfitnesspal since i got into lifting as a teen just with varying levels of discipline in between gaining and losing weight lol. Currently i log meals daily for the past 5 months

I’ll start doing fasted cardio in the mornings when schedule allows thanks bro.

Like i said since july i’ve dialed in my eating and training. I could dial in my eating further i’m getting away with the occasional unplanned meal/takeaway due to either the reta or being a high body fat in a steep deficit. The only things for me to do are optimising fat burning with things like fasted cardio and additional supps as your suggesting - Starting a consistent lifting schedule again is something i also want to do.

Hey brother! If your primary goal is weight loss, and you're worried about ongoing fertility, it may be worth foregoing the test and using that money on fat loss ancillaries or dialing in your nutrition properly. Higher anabolic loads don't play a significant role in fat loss.

If you do commit to a cycle and want to PCT properly invest the money into a coach who specializes in fertility.

@jupundee you have the body memory to get back into shape. now it boils down to training, diet, etc. the reta will help

New to the forum and made a post earlier regarding my goal to lose fat and reach a lower body weight after years of fluctuating between being fit and being overweight.

I’m currently taking 4 reta, started at 0.5mg for 1 week, then 1mg, then 2.5mg for 2 weeks and now upped to 4mg.

I went from overweight in high school (130kg+) to quite fit playing sports and lifting 4-6x week at 95-100kg Images around 2020 weighing 95kg~

I then got into powerlifting and sat around 103-106kg, numbers in comp were S: 242.5kg B: 135kg D: 247.5kg Gym numbers being B: 140kg and D: 270kg Image around 2022 weighing 105kg~

Around 2021 i stopped training for 5-6montbs gained weight was out of shape and overweight, then i lost the weight again - Mid 2022 stopped powerlifting and gained the weight back and was in the same position. Come around to late 2023 and i’d lost the weight yet another time and was lifting for pumps, training bjj, running and doing HIIT training. Photo late 2023 weighing 98-100kg

Fast forward to late 2024 and i was the heaviest id been for a number of years, weighing 121kg in July, i’ve since lost 10kg and at the moment plan to continue eating in a deficit until i’m atleast under 100kg again

and was advised to start a log.
I made that post to ask for advice on a test e only cycle for 16 weeks during this cut, (200-300mg/week, arimadex throughout, Hcg 750iu/week and nolvadex 8 week pct. If i was to do this cycle i would want the best chances at as close to full recovery of natural test i can get. Please feel free to tell me why this could be a good idea or a bad one, it’s not something i’m definitely going to do - I’ve just been thinking about it for a while now (i hear good things about test and reta, i also hear test is wasted on a cut, although im not too concerned with maximising gains, just want to get lean). Up until this point i’ve not taken any peds outside of cardarine and andarine 5 months ago when just getting back into training.

Currently i run 2x week (intervals because i’m high body weight and fat and don’t want to destroy my joints getting back into it), HIIT and calisthenics training 3x week and am reintroducing lifting after only occasionally lifting over the past year.

I currently take no supplements outside of Retatrutide and MT2.

Diet the past month consists of eggs cottage cheese steak avocados honey kimchi occasionally chicken beef mince rice etc. Getting about 1800-2000 cals a day
you should go through 4-5 vials of MT2 to get the best changes. especially with your skin tone. how much have you taken so far? @jupundee
 
Thanks, I’ll look to get bloodwork done soon and upload it here and pick up some of those supps

I know my protein could be higher, i’ll definitely get it up a bit. I think i haven’t been too worried about with the appetite suppression with reta.

I do probably about 4-5 hours of cardio a week. The HIIT stuff is a mix of short runs, heavy bag workouts, plenty of push ups/sit ups/burpee/squats/other body weight stuff etc. Lots of conditioning work. The two runs a week are 3-4 minutes running then 1-2 walking for half an hour or so while i get my fitness back. I’m not struggling with recovery just the usual fatigue you might expect on a cut but i’m still a quite high body fat so coping well. I know it’s preemptive but do you have any input on the consideration of a test cycle provided bloods are all good?
bros yeah bloods important. that will give you baseline @jupundee also hell yeah on HIIT. that shit work good but do it fasted

@jupundee good work on this man. the diet looks really good! beef mince is a solid choice if prepped right

If you've turned yourself so insulin resistant then definitely it will help you. reta will flick the switch overnight. It's an amazing drug. I'm excited to see what kind of results you get on it. @jupundee

@jupundee gray starts at the log looks like you have a really good base and some good muscle mass on your frame already. Can’t wait to see how far you take this.
