can you do it in the forearm? or at least tricep? bicep? thats close to the wrist @Wheels85 bpc/tb
I'll do it in the sub q at the back of the wrist. Just not fucking around where the tendons are and potentially making things 10x worse

Bad news. Transferring out of the shower back into my chair the other night, I re-did my wrist, and it's worse than before. I can't even lift the kettle to make a coffee. I will be sticking 100% solid to my diet, I'm not quiting etc etc, but I need to take a mental break for a few weeks. I lost 3-4 months at the start of last year to tennis elbow, and now this. Feel like I'm just going to spend the next 3 months recovering then the following 3 chasing back what I lost again. It's not just gym-related, but as you can imagine, I now effectively only have 1 arm to carry out my day-to-day life, so not in the best headspace right now. The gym was my only real outlet to get rid of my stress. Anyway, ill be back when there's some positive news to report. I'm going to get some scans done and see where it's at and go from there. Cheers for following my journey so far. Catch you all when I get back.
I DM'd you brother. We can exchange numbers and stay in touch if you want. I know how this feels.

I don't want this to make you feel like you're being worried to pin close to the tendon so I do just want to mention that in my 2025 log I would pin GLOW and KLOW directly INTO my tendons at my elbow from an armwrestling injury (or damn near right beside them if I missed). I got used to the PIP from it and after the doc saying I needed 6 months off the gym I was back in 6 weeks.

I'd start on 20g collagen peptide powder ED and do the best you can to pin it as close as possible to where the injury is or the pain is occuring.

sure, go with the @HarleyGuy way he does it right and he's fine @Wheels85 but be careful

Hey guys, how's everyone been? Quick update. Wrist is feeling a lot better, but I still feel it there. I know if I were to lift weights right now id be back to square. I can type, use my phone and am almost able to push my chair full force without worrying about fucking it. My house was sold, and the home loan was all approved, so I've started the search for a new house. Have less to spend than I thought I would. Fucking stamp duty is costing me 36k alone. The government always wants a slice. Put an order in for my next cycle last night. Going to run 300 sust 250, along with NPP, mast and some var at the end. Hope you all have been well and smashing it in the gym. Can't wait to get back!

Really good to hear you're on the mend brother! The government bever misses their pound of flesh hey. Hope you find the perfect spot though.
Looking forward to your return my bro. Can't wait to see what you have in store next. 💪🏻

Good to hear the wrist is improving mate.

Yeah Aus has a lot of good things about it but we also have a whole bunch of red tape, crazy compliance costs and a nanny-state mindset.

Definitely not ready to lift. I can feel that if I were to even do sets of curls, it would flare right up again. It tweaked a bit tonight, carrying my yoghurt from the fridge to the kitchen. I did send an email asking if they could send some, though unsure if they were able to.

@UGL OZ Support Rep can we get him some BPC asap. I will even chip in if need be.

Wheels we need you at 500mcg BPC ED in the wrist and don't lift until you can use it at 70% let alone yogurt flaring it up. Just rest up on the mend bro.

Hey all. Sorry, I've been a bit quiet. Dealing with a health issue. That UTI I had since last year hasn't wanted to fuck off, and it was affecting my blood markers. I seem to have finally rid myself of it, which is a relief. I've also been trying to find a house to buy, which has been stressful af. The market goes up every week, and whatever listings there are, they're sold not long after. I love my folks, don't get me wrong, but if I have to live with them for another 12 months, I'm going to rip out whatever hair I have left, haha. Tuesday, I did some curls, tricep extension and shoulder press using a 9kg dumbbell with my bad arm. I used a wrist strap and had my thumb wrapped around the outside of the dumbbell with my fingers. No real pain while doing it or the next day. Tried again today using an 11kg dumbbell and noticed some pain, so bumped it back down to 9kg. I was pretty active today, so that would have put a bit more stress on it. Still feeling it now, 5 hours later, but nothing crazy. It's healing, just slow as tendons do. @UGL OZ has sent me a care pack, which I'm extremely thankful for, so hopefully the peptides do their thing, and I can get stuck into this bulk. Apologise if I've been a moody cunt lately. Been a stressful time of late. Hope you all have been killin' it in and out of the gym.

Thanks for the update @Wheels85 I was worried a bit. I'm really happy that you've identified what was upsetting you and you have a gameplan around that now. Good for you! AND... you're back rehabing the wrist and arm this is great news. 9kg is a huge win bro! And being active is good for mind, body and spirit.

I'm super impressed with @UGL OZ for stepping up to get the BPC into you. Have you reconstituted it yet and what dose are you planning? I'd consider an aggressive does for 4 weeks along with any other healing peptides that were sent and add in collagen peptide powder as well.

Glad to see you back brother! EVO family love and support to you bro!

So good to hear from you brother.
@UGL OZ coming through is great news.
Soldier on with the rehab and like @HarleyGuy said, go with the aggressive plan with the peps, you should be noticing the benifits in no time.

Keep your head up my dude. I've been praying for your speedy recovery. The Evo family have you in their hearts and minds.

Good to see you back in the EVO family :D @Wheels85 we missed you.
I know hard times are like a wave you feel you're drowning but this will pass, but most important is trying to keep training best you can during this time and keep diet in check.

Yeah the housing market in Aus is f'ed mate. Hope you can find something soon.

Good to hear that the wrist is coming good.

Yeah it’s hard to get into the property market at the moment , especially if you are in the city where prices are ridiculously expensive.

Keep your chin up bro, if you miss one it just wasn’t meant to be. You will find one soon

I sold my townhouse in December, and I have this panic that I'm going to be priced out of the housing market and be stuck with all this cash and no property. I don't know how people enjoy this process.

Homes going up daily in price? ed? @Wheels85

Welcome back brother.
Dont stress too hard on the house market - took us months to find one to buy without getting outbid by stupid offers or dumb vendors with shit conditions.
Market is cooked, but be patient and itll happen for sure
Bro, I went to one yesterday. I was comfortably the second-highest offer. And some investor from Syd was 20k in front of me. Mental. Yeah, I'll find one. Just pissing me off in the process, haha.

Man I feel you, we were ready to just quit, fucking infuriating.
Consider building too, we are currently doing that and while it has its own headfucks, we got to design it from scratch and cant be outbid on it 😂. Likely will be worth more just being built too

Australia is fucked Lev, a standard 3 bedroom home in our capital city would go well and truly over a million and a half

I'm not sure I can live with my parents for that long, haha. 12 months and I already want to roll off the Story Bridge.

1.5mil usd?

Nah, wouldn't say daily, but very frequently. Especially the state I live in.
not good, move to NM stuff is cheap here lol

1.5mil usd?
No, AUD. But in SYD, you wouldn't get anything too special for 1.4 USD. I'm in Brisbane, and there's record immigration and people from SYD and Melbourne are all moving up here since COVID on top. So, property had gone through the roof due to supply and demand. Plus, the Olympics are coming, which slows down housing construction even more. Nightmare. I have almost 1M budget, and the houses I can get for that aren't anything special. Pre-COVID, for 1M on the North Side of Brisbane, you'd get a huge place.

I'm so confused with the currencies but I see the prices are crazy!!! @Wheels85

Thanks to everyone @UGL OZ for coming through for me once again. You guys are the best! I'll be back in no time to absolutely kill this bulk! So keen. Miss feeling strong.

I love seeing this! Both the touchdown and something for you to look forward to because better days are on the horizon bro.

Big win for @UGL OZ helping an EVO brother out!

Now get that BPC into you asap 🤣😛

Hey mate, if your in Bris and are willing to make the trip to northern GC, I can highly recommend Hope Island Chiro (Matthew). He's the best of the best when it comes to manual therapy for gym injuries.

Awesome touchdown!

I got a house, boys! I paid a little over what I would like to for it, but given the market, it is what it is. It's nothing special, but for my first house it's not too shabby. Only a small bank loan of 320k, too. Looking like I'll be renting it out as is, the Aussie way. It's on a big block in a good neighbourhood, and with some renovations, I can make it look really good. So much stress off my shoulders.

Looks awesome mate. Sunny coast hinterland by the looks of it.

Thanks, guys.

So, last night I took the first lot dose of peptides kindly sent by @UGL OZ. Cheers to @HarleyGuy for the help with mixing and pinning instructions. Had a smallish workout today. 15kg dumbbell for left and 12.5kg for right. Curls, tricep extensions, hammer curl on left arm only. Tried introducing incline bench back into the fold, and my wrist said absolutely fucking not, and flared right up. TBF, I probably went too heavy a weight too soon into rehab with the dumbbell work beforehand, so that didn't help. It only lasted 30 minutes or so and settled right down after I iced it. It was my fault for leaving my max weight on the bench and being too lazy to take it off and start light. Went back in tonight and put the bench weight back down to 55kg and did about 4 sets of 12-6. I could feel it at the end, but nothing too bad. Finished off with some pec dec. See how it holds up in the morning. I'll let it rest up now til Sunday and let the peptides do their thing. I'll get back to logging my food tomorrow. Diet has been pretty on point, minus 3-4 days since I've been injured. Thanks once again to @UGL OZ

Great update bro really good detail on where you’re at and smart choices on letting it rest especially with peptides on board now.

Cheers to @HarleyGuy for the help with mixing and pinning instructions.
This was fun!

@Wheels85 always good to see an update out of you man. Glad to see that you are getting on a good strategy to help with that stubborn injury.

Thanks, guys.

I am glad you were able to get a touch down of peptides. @Wheels85 let's see how much they can help you. That's really important to run them and get them in your system ASAP.

Thanks, guys.

@Wheels85 hopefully you can work around your injuries. We all have injuries, especially as we get older, and trust me when you get older it doesn't get any easier. You just have to learn to adjust

Thanks, guys.

Bros, definitely let us know. Hopefully you feel better. Nothing worse than annoying injuries, especially to your wrist. That's like the worst spot for sure. Takes a long time to heal too. @Wheels85

View attachment 177990
Absolutely beautiful home and property brother, congratulations!

Hey, guys. Sorry, I been slack. Daughter decided to share her germs with me, so been sick. My diet has sorta come off the rails the last two weeks. I've had some issues going on in my life U won't get into her and haven't been sleeping much due to stress. When I'm tired it's the only time I binge eat or eat bad food.

Today wasn't too bad. I had sushi, chicken Kiev with sweet potato. 125g of Greek yoghurt with 2 scoops of Whey and blue berries. Had a workout on Sunday. I probably pushed it too far. I transferred out of the shower and totally fucked my wrist again. It's been slowly getting. I have pushed my test back to TRT levels of 125mg per week. The UTI was affecting my kidney and other markers, so just wanted to push back to lowest effective dose to give my body one less thing to worry about. Not sure how many calories are in the sushi

No need to apologize brother any update is a good update, even when you think it sounds negative that's okay because to me it doesn't. I know I can come here to post anything and release that and get some good no bullshit feedback.

Life itself I find is like the gym, there's ebbs and flows and peaks and valleys. What's important is that you're taking those steps required to let yourself heal and doing what's needed to maintain your mental health. If your diet comes off the rails to stay sane then so be it, we pick back up and dust, recalibrate and reengage brother, like you are doing! In the mean time your down to TRT to take a break and addressing the UTI issue.

I'd keep the Vitamin C high and be mindful of digestion and add cranberry and mannose as a daily supplement since you're prone to UTI's.

Please keep us posted and thanks for the update, remember no update is a bad update brother.

sorry to hear the sickness situation @Wheels85 do your best to keep taking supps and digestive aids as @HarleyGuy suggested with elderberry

@Wheels85 glad to see that you're doing okay, man. Sorry about the sickness. Hopefully you can catch up with everything and be back in the saddle pretty soon.

I'm gonna give you a BIT of sh*t here

We all get what it's like being ill and that includes feeling sorry for ourselves. But I wanna see you only slacking 1-2x. The rest of the time, as a test of who you are if need be, stick to the plan. It's when it gets hard most fuck up. Don't be most

Bros, I didn't know you were a sushi man. Not sure if you knew this but my wife is Japanese so she makes a lot of fresh sushi, especially when she has family over. They even let me have a couple of pieces. @Wheels85

Not house related. Family related. Rather keep this one private, but appreciate your reaching out.

Sushi can be very good for you and it can be bad for you. @Wheels85 just depends on the ingredients. A lot of times they smother it in oil that makes it not good. As long as it's good quality, it can be healthy.

Look, I get what you're trying to say... however most wouldn't even be here doing what I'm doing in my situation. In fact, few would even be here period given what I've been through. I don't need to prove anything about my character. I've already shown it and live it. I'm not feeling sorry for myself because I have a cold. As I mentioned I have family stuff going on right now that has taken a toll and been stressful. I'm human like everyone else and for a 3-5 days I ate poorly. Keep in my my diet has been nothing short of perfect and low calories for 3 months even while injured. If 3-5 days across two weeks is some how a test of who I am, then tbh it's a test I could care less about. No disrespect intended. That's just how it is. A lot of people turn to booze and drugs. I ate some crisps, McFlurry and sushi.

I didn't know that. Lucky man! Id weigh 100kg if that were me. I'm a fiend for sushi, though it's expensive and calorie dense so I try to stay away. Been 6 months or so since I ate it last.

@Wheels85 hopefully you and your daughter feel better soon. Nice job with the meal that you put together. Nothing wrong with some chicken and sweet potato; that's a good one.

Small workout today. Bicep curls, tricep extension and hammer curl left arm only and pec dec. 15kg dumbbell for left, 9kg for right. 75kg on the pec dec 2 sets. I felt it a little bit in my thumb but nothing bad. I find if I stick to 9kg I don't have a problem during or the next day.

I would say the pain has been nothing higher than a 3 over the last few days and that's at it's peak. At rest no pain. So, the peptides are definitely helping. I've just got to stop myself from over training that arm and allow them time to do their thing. Its hard because I miss it but it's a step back to take 10 forward.

Slept more last night which helped with the stress and mental health. Back on track with the diet. First time the diets gone of course a little bit, but I'm human so not beating myself up over a minor detour.

Good to see that you're doing okay man. Whenever someone doesn't post for a while, we always worry about them. The EVO family supports each other. Hopefully you guys can get through the sickness and come out stronger. @Wheels85

@Wheels85 man I love me some sushi. Probably my favorite food!

Yeah, man, it's right up there for me too. I'd probably put a good steak and hot wings slightly above it. But it's close.

Bros, yes it's expensive. That's why they only let me have a couple pieces of it.

Small workout today. Not looking to build muscle right now. Just get a pump, get blood flowing, and not re-injure myself. I've lost a little bit of mass, but for not working out for 6 weeks, I've held onto most. Not sure if it's the HGH or the higher-than-normal carbs over the last 2 weeks, but I feel full and strong.

Shoulder Press 13kg 12x3
Shoulder flys 9kg til failure 3 sets
Lateral raises 7kg til failure 3 sets
Pec Dec 75kg 12x3

@Wheels85 Nothing worse than getting sick! Hoping you recover quick!

Sup, all? Wrist is on the mend! It's still there in the background, but nowhere near as bad. I did a workout on Saturday, and did incline bench just with 20kg on each side. Felt it a little in my wrist, but only slightly and zero pain the next day. I bought a pair of active hands. They're gloves to help people with spinal cord injuries grip things. I think part of the issue is that I have strong grip strength, but I'm missing a lot of muscles in my hands and forearms, so it places a lot of strain on my tendons because I'm squeezing so hard with the muscles I have. So, I reckon these will help a lot. Did arms and chest on Saturday, and about to do a light set of shoulders just to get some blood going. Can't wait to hit the weights properly again and start this bulk. I bought a new hand cycle, too! Big plans for autumn and winter so I can come into summer in the best shape I've been in! Thanks again to @UGL OZ, I really don't think I'd be recovering this fast without their help. Almost 2 weeks in, and the difference is night and day!

Thanks again to @UGL OZ, I really don't think I'd be recovering this fast without their help. Almost 2 weeks in, and the difference is night and day! View attachment 184199

@Wheels85 this looks really cool and really fun. I'm glad that you are getting in your cardio no matter what you need to do to get around the injury.

Bro, sounds like your wrist is getting better and better. Definitely keep an eye on it, don't overdo it. Make sure that you treat it very gently. @Wheels85

Now THIS is what I've been waiting for! It's refreshing to have you back on here and read your uplifting posts about standing back up after feeling like you fell. Family issues especially the kind you're going through can really set us back mentally and you gutted it out bro. It looks like that 6 weeks off was a deload that has you back with a vengeance.

Not sure if it's the HGH or the higher-than-normal carbs over the last 2 weeks, but I feel full and strong.
And you look it too, arms and delts are looking hard and strong

Felt it a little in my wrist, but only slightly and zero pain the next day.
The day has come! Finally. Now is the time to keep the peptides going don't take your foot off that gas pedal.
Big shoutout to @UGL OZ for hanging in there with you through this as well!

Big plans for autumn and winter so I can come into summer in the best shape I've been in!
Great attitude and you will get to where you wanna be, fact!

That is a cool looking piece of equipment right there @Wheels85 looks like a lot of fun if you ask me. Just be careful out there on the road. There's a lot of crazy drivers.

There's a beautiful lake right near me with an awesome exercise track that's about 2km/1.2miles per lap.

@Wheels85 100% you want to be recovering without everything, not just that but also the positive log and the motivation that everybody on here is giving you. It definitely goes a long way.

I'm glad to see that you're happy and you're doing better. Wrist injuries are the worst but when they heal you learn to appreciate it. @Wheels85

Awesome to hear the wrist is on the mend. Two weeks is when those peptides really start to kick as well I found.

Definitely makes sense that the injury is due to certain muscles copping too much of a beating. Pretty common in general for all those forearm muscles to get knotted up for people who train.

Bike looks sick mate. Will be some nice rides up in your area as well!

@Wheels85 like the bike man! Glad to hear the wrist is getting so much better

Hey all. Been a busy week. Did a workout Saturday and today. All my lifts are back to 80-100% pre-injury, bar hammer curl on my right arm, which I haven't done yet. I still feel the wrist, but it's background noise now. Had a chat with the coach and upped my test to 200mg per week. I'll sit around this for 4-6 weeks til I'm 100% healed up, then start the bulk. I'm going to do a whole body sesh 2x per week during this time and focus on smashing cardio on the bike 1-2hrs a day so by the time the bulk comes, I'm at good weight.

All my lifts are pretty much back to where they were pre-injury. Handcycle has arrived from the US and has been put together, so that will start Monday. 2x 1 hr cardio per day. Todays gym sesh. A little bit of size to get back what I lost, but it shouldn't take too long.
