Veteran Log 2026 Cruise into Bulk Cycle Log

Hi all,

Decided to start a new log now rather than waiting until the bulk/push starts.

I finished my first cycle at the start of January. The plan is to continue to recomp / slightly lean out while cruising. The will put me in a good position to do what I came here for which is try and pack on some muscle.

History

The below is generally a copy from my first log.

Been training regularly for close to 20 years. Unfortunately you wouldn't be able to tell from looking at me (I guess there's a limit to how much I can do with my frame) (doing a bit better on this after the first cycle).

I started off as a 'been pole' - 6'3" and only 65kg (140lb). *NEW* See photo below of what I looked like before I started training. Note the stick arms. :ROFLMAO:

Made good gains in the first few years and in a few other periods but struggled with injuries at times.

Prior to TRT I don't think I made any gains in the last 5 years despite consistent training and good diet.

Started TRT in June last year. Then started my first cycle in September.

Cycle was originally going to be 400-500mg/week Test E. I think I got up to about 450mg after three weeks. I then decided to introduce EQ to help with E2 issues. Final cycle settled at:

375mg/week Test E and 320mg/week EQ

Final progress pic from the cycle below. I'll give some additional current pics in the next post.

Plan

I am currently running the following from the legends @PharmabolicsOz who also supplied me for the majority of my first cycle:

175mg/week Test E
60mg/week EQ
25mg Proviron

I'll get bloods soon. Ideally I will run test as high as possible and EQ as low as possible while not having E2 issues (probably around where I am now).

I was also lucky enough to start logging for @RegenexPharma . They have been awesome to deal with and provided a lot of good advice and recommendations regarding a stack that suits my goals. I have just started the following supplied by them:

GH - 2.5iu per day
KLOW - 5mg/day
MOTS-C - 4.5mg/week

I don't have anything locked in for the push but I definitely want to include Deca/NPP. Will likely be Test E + EQ + Deca/NPP.

Training

Was doing Push, Pull, Legs 5 days per week.

My shoulder is currently bothering me so I have stopped most chest and shoulder stuff and am doing:

Back and rear delt
Arms
Legs, calves and abs
Off
Upper (mainly back with some light arms)
Legs, calves and abs
Off

On weight training days I do 10-15 mins incline treadmill warmup, stretching after the workout and 20-30 mins incline treadmill at the end.

On the other two days I do 5-10 mins incline treadmill warmup, stretching and foam rolling, then 30-45 mins incline treadmill.

Was taking 10g but dropped it to 5g. As @HarleyGuy guy said I need to go back to 10g or 2 x 5g. Just need to make sure I drink more water when having it.

Thanks mate. It definitely feels strange to me to be a bit leaner. As a natty I was always hesitant as I didn't want to lose size. Keen for a lean bulk though.

Yeah will go back up to 10g per day.

Let's do 2 x 5g ED. 5g before two of your meals. I found when I bolus psyllium it kinda defeats the purpose LOL, like overkill if you can read between the lines. Ideally we wanna find your best dose before each meal you have and get digestion humming along like a racecar for you. No bloat and great absorption.
 
How bad is the shoulder ? You taking anything to fast track recovery ?
Didn't think it was too bad but have had physio on it three times now and it's still bugging me. I've been told it an issue with the supraspinatus.

Have started taking KLOW from @RegenexPharma so hopefully that helps. Also seeing a chiro today that specialises in hands on massage techniques. He's pretty much a guru so hopefully will get it sorted.

What's holding you back from posing (as you mentioned it)? 100% you've made positive changes.
I tried to do it while holding the phone but couldn't get anything to work. Just need to get a phone stand or get my wife to do it (last time that caused a fight because it made her late for work 😬).
 
Nah. I think I just didn't drink enough water and it affected my 'regularity' :ROFLMAO:
increase water with psyllium it sucks all water up :D

Cycle was originally going to be 400-500mg/week Test E. I think I got up to about 450mg after three weeks. I then decided to introduce EQ to help with E2 issues. Final cycle settled at:

375mg/week Test E and 320mg/week EQ

MOTS-C - 4.5mg/week

I don't have anything locked in for the push but I definitely want to include Deca/NPP. Will likely be Test E + EQ + Deca/NPP.

I've heard some good things about KLOW. @waggat the growth hormone looks really good as well alongside it. You should get some good recovery and repair.

@waggat wow what a transformation from where you were before to where you are now. It just shows you that hard work and perseverance really pay off. The beauty part is you don't go crazy with your steroid use either. You keep the dosages sane.

Very nice start to this fresh new log. I like how you lay out where you've been, where you are, and where you're going. That's a great way to look at things and you're going to continue to improve. @waggat
 
Food

On a training day meals look as follows:

  • 4am - Pre-workout
4 x rice crackers with honey
  • Workout
EAA drink with dextrose/maltodextrin during
Protein shake after
  • 8am - Breakfast
220g rice
60g pea protein
10g chia seeds
100g yoghurt
20g nuts
120g mixed berries
  • 1pm - Lunch
120g rice
220g meat (usually chicken breast or leftovers from dinner)
mixed veges
25g nuts
10g fish oil
  • 6:30pm - Dinner
This ones varies but typically stir-fry, curry, roast etc. Some typical dinners below.

If I need to make up the macros, after dinner I'll have yoghurt, protein powder and almond butter.

I ran EQ for the first cycle, mainly as a replacement for an AI. Can't say I can tell you anything I felt different with it (compared to just the test). But anecdotally I think it helped with vascularity.

Shoulder is still an issue. The chiro says it's the infraspinatus tendon where it attaches to the humeral head. I've dropped all pressing and lateral raises and I'm doing shoulder stability exercises most days.

Hopefully the HGH and KLOW from
@RegenexPharma will help get it sorted.

best of luck with the klow, it could be something else from my cocktail of drugs but im a physio’s wet dream with all of my injuries. I’ve only been running it at 3mg a day for 10 days and I’m seeing great improvements with my impinged right shoulder tendon, elbow tendon rupture and my knee where I only have half a meniscus and acl/plc tear. Much less inflammation and improved resilience in all 3. And im not injecting onsite specific, so your results might he even better bro 😎

Hey mate, KLOW is BPC, TB, GHK and KPV. This is the first time I've tried it. Previously used PC/TB on a bicep issue that i'd had for years and it fixed it hey.

I think the KLOW and HGH from @RegenexPharma are doing their thing ... It feels like I'm finally getting somewhere with my shoulder. That's promising considering it first appeared two months ago and I've had it worked on four times by a physio with little success.

Definitely enjoying the drop sets on things like leg curls and calf raises. Might give them a go on leg extensions next.
