Context:
24, 5'8-5'9, 160 lbs, guessing ~17%bf. Training for ~3 years.

Goal: Cut while keeping muscle and maybe gaining some muscle. I want to be at 10-12% bf with a full influencer look (think Alex Eubanks, Joseph Shin, Adam Yu, David Laid, etc). I am doing this to make a second career/job out of my body. My money goal is to increase my income from my current day job making about ~180k to making 200k+ ASAP. I don't care about longevity too much, just want to have the influencer look to to make more money and live a more fun life. Going to get my total test to ~1500 and stay there for 6 months and see what happens. Then bring it down to 1000-1200 or so to cruise. To do this I will start Test Enanthate/Cypionate at 200mg/week (Injecting EOD) for 6 weeks and Reta at 0.5mg a week and titrating up by .5 every 2-3 weeks. Then I will do bloodwork and see how I am looking physically in the mirror and on bloods and adjust. At the 6 week mark I will add HCG 500 UI split into 2 doses a week to bring back fertility and I will run this forever until it is time to have kids in 5-10 years at which point I will do a heavy fertility stack of higher dose HCG, HMG, etc.

- Incline Smitch Machine Bench or Incline Dumbbell Bench (3 x 8-10)
- Pec Dec Machine (3 x 10)
- Seated Dumbell Lateral Raises (3-5 x 8-10)
- Cable Tricep Pushdown (3 x 10)

Day 2: Pull:
- Lat Pulldown Machine (3 x 8)
- Chest Supported TBar row or Seated Cable row (3 x 8-10)
- Preacher Curl Machine (3 x 10)
- Hammer Curl (3 x 10)

Day 3: Legs:
Machine Hack Squat (3 x 8)
Leg Extension Machine (3 x 8)
Leg Curl Machine (3 x 8)
Calf Raise Machine (3 x 10)

Day 4: Arnold 1 (Chest and Back):
- Incline Smitch Machine Bench or Incline Dumbbell Bench (3 x 8-10)
- Pec Dec Machine (3 x 10)
- Lat Pulldown Machine (3 x 8)
- Chest Supported TBar row or Seated Cable row (3 x 8-10)

Day 5: Arnold 2 (Arms):
- Seated Dumbell Lateral Raises (3-5 x 8-10)
- Rear Delt Machine Fly (3 x 10)
- Preacher Curl Machine (3 x 10)
- Cable Tricep Pushdown (3 x 10)

Diet:
Breakfast: Premier Protein Shake: 30g protein 160 cals
Lunch: Shredded Chicken Breast with hot sauce: 75g protein 500 cals
Snack: Premier protein bar or something random: 20g of protein 200 cals
After Lifting: Egg white wrap + Sliced Chicken Breast: 38g of protein 195 cal
Dinner: Usually Protein Shake with Water 42g of protein 200 cals
Also some random snacks which I don't really track - usually either popcorn or low cal yogurt or Yasso ice cream bar something like that

Cardio:
I don't really do cardio consistently. Sometimes I'll run/walk 20 minutes a day ish for ~100 cals. I work a remote computer job so my movement in general is low.

Sleep: 7-8ish hours a night

Supplements:
Creatine 5mg a day most days, Multivitamin most days

Water:
Never really tracked, I would guess like 3 liters a day.

Diet, please share foods and meals and when you eat them, macros would be good
Training, please share actual exercises reps sets and weights, as you go especially get stronger
cardio how much do you do? when etc
If you don't log what you eat or train now, open NOTES on phone and start recording it there and paste here. Or use an app like myfitness pal or cronometer. Very easy.

I'm really glad you started their log right off the bat. I would love to see you eat more whole foods; it's going to help you take things to the next level if you do. @zamtrios

@zamtrios seems like you have a lot of good things coming here. I would clean up the diet, though. You're eating way too much processed junk. You need to start food prepping. That's going to be what helps you.

Never really tracked, I would guess like 3 liters a day.
Bros, nutrition is very important. You got a good base to work with and good physique but you definitely can improve your diet as others have said. I like your training. Keep that consistent and the way it is. @zamtrios
 
What would you guys recommend removing from the diet? Just less protein bars/shakes?

Also I have only been following this diet for a month or so and I have gotten leaner, but def feel worse in the gym. I grew up eating a lot more carbs through rice and I decided to not do that anymore which helps with leanness but gives me way less energy. I think I will start eating sweet potato for one of my meals so I can get a little bit more carbs in. After 2 weeks of this diet I felt kinda bad, low energy, low libido etc Ig cause I was cutting carbs too quickly, but my body is also learning to adjust so I'll stick through and see where it takes me.

Blast and cruise forever. PCT is kind of pointless imo. I have read a lot about how PCT is terrible for your body and I want to be enhanced for at least the next 15-20 years so might as well cruise forever.
Hcg prevents testicular atrophy, and has some neurosteroid effects, im not sure if it prevents shutdown though, someone else will have to answer that.

Some Trt clinics prescribe it alongside trt forever, so if cost is no issue, do that. it will raise Estrogen a bit though so just keep that in mind.

I like to run it once or twice a year just to keep balls large

By the time I fully recovered I got even bigger and stronger than when I was on that cycle. Steroids DO make permanent changes in your body. If you’re healthy when you start and remain healthy you can make a full recovery and be ahead in the end. You won’t look exactly like you did when you were on steroids, but you won’t look like you would have if you never used them either. And when I did start using testosterone eight years later I came back very very quickly. And that’s a known thing. You don’t have to stay on forever unless you’re permanently shut down, hypogonadal in the first place, or trying to make continuous gains like a pro body builder. Which you said you weren’t trying to do that, so I would consider more options. I mean just know that you do have more options. There’s no guarantee that all this stuff will be easily available to all of us forever. What will you do then? Is your first order going to be a lifetime supply? Or you can just worry about it when and if the time comes.

Exactly why its wise to have pct available even if you never plan on using it, the world supply chain is fragile.

I’m going on six years on and I have everything locked and loaded. Clomid, nolvadex, hcg. I know what it’s like to lose supply. I can power through just about anything but it’s not a fun happy careless time hahaha

I used a luerlock syringe, drew with 25g, and was going to inject with 30g half inch needle into delt, but stared at it for like an hour before deciding I can't do it. 😭 Can I just start with subq injecting using an insulin syringe to get used to the idea of pinning? I am injecting 0.25 mL btw (EOD for about 200mg a week) so online it says if using a small amount like I am its okay to do subQ.

First injection is intense. We’re not going to do it for you though hahaha. 30g is actually smaller than many insulin syringes, which mine are 29g. If you use one you’ll have to figure out how to backload it or else you’ll have to draw with that tiny needle and then jab it after it’s blunted from drawing the vial.

You can do it. Diabetics learn to do it as kids. Clean your shoulder with alcohol, hold the syringe firmly and comfortably and then push it in. You’re not going to hit anything. You can literally bury it. Nothing is going to go wrong. People have sawed their own leg off with rocks to save their life. You’ll be fine. (Things I told myself hahaha)

I don’t subq anything really. I don’t see the point. If there’s any difference it’s just splitting hairs. If you’re gonna do it you might as well get right down to business and get it done and get good at it.

I dropped a 1.5” 23g on a full 10ml syringe into my foot once. We all have moments where we question our choices in life lmao.

Alright boys I said fuck it and I injected 0.20ml with my insulin syringe (31g 5/16 8mm, backfilled) subq. I just did 90 degree angle in. 0 pain, but a little bit of oil seeped out, a tiny droplet of blood, and the injection site for a couple seconds turned white - anyone know why? I hope it was at least subq lol and not too shallow. Lets see how it goes and if I develop a lump like some people get when injecting subq. Do you guys think the needle is too short especially for upper right quadrant of glute? I just pinched some fat and went in 90 degrees

that first line lowkey scared tf outta me lol. I would do 45 degrees but I feel like using 5/16 8mm needle is already pretty shallow which is why I stuck it straight in. Maybe I should do 1/2 inch needle to go deeper?

24, 5'8-5'9, 160 lbs, guessing ~17%bf. Training for ~3 years.

Goal: Cut while keeping muscle and maybe gaining some muscle. I want to be at 10-12% bf with a full influencer look (think Alex Eubanks, Joseph Shin, Adam Yu, David Laid, etc). I am doing this to make a second career/job out of my body. My money goal is to increase my income from my current day job making about ~180k to making 200k+ ASAP. I don't care about longevity too much, just want to have the influencer look to to make more money and live a more fun life. Going to get my total test to ~1500 and stay there for 6 months and see what happens. Then bring it down to 1000-1200 or so to cruise. To do this I will start Test Enanthate/Cypionate at 200mg/week (Injecting EOD) for 6 weeks and Reta at 0.5mg a week and titrating up by .5 every 2-3 weeks. Then I will do bloodwork and see how I am looking physically in the mirror and on bloods and adjust. At the 6 week mark I will add HCG 500 UI split into 2 doses a week to bring back fertility and I will run this forever until it is time to have kids in 5-10 years at which point I will do a heavy fertility stack of higher dose HCG, HMG, etc.

Just because you mini-stabbed yourself, it will happen. Have an alcohol swab opened and ready in case this happens and hold it with pressure for about 30 seconds.

If you're going to do this unorthodox way of getting your Test in then you actually should have a small lump and feel it right away. Massage it after you're done pinning.

The way you talk about influencers and money etc has me worried about your mental state though. It seems you are chasing all these things as you think it will make you happy? Unfortunately it won't. If you're not happy now, obtaining 'things' won't make you happy.

Also, have you heard the expression 'comparison is the thief of joy'? That comes to mind when you talk about all these influencers that you seem to think have it so good.

Anyway, all that aside. Regarding your physique, I think the biggest mistake people can make is chasing a lean look too early on. What will happen is that it will rob you of muscle gains. In the long run you'd be heaps better off going for lean gains now. Getting more muscle now will make it easier to get lean in the future.

Regarding your training, it looks alright. Is that 5 days per week. The main thing I would say is that split end up being very light on legs. For it to work, the absolute minimum I would do would be to move calves to another day and add in 1-2 more exercises. To me the better option though would be the same split but with an extra leg day added. Could still be done over 5 days a week (would only do 6 days per week if you have elite recovery).

Diet looks reasonable. A proper solid meal for dinner would be better. What are the total macros?
 
Update: My pinned area is radiating a very tiny amount of pain/heat. I also realized there is a lump, its just not noticeable because I need to like grab my fat on my ass and then punch inwards so I can feel the lump. No redness or anything though. Limping a little bit when walking.

This experience in general has been kinda ass for me. I honestly did NOT enjoy injecting and I've felt mentally bad the whole day like guilty/WTF am I doing kind of feeling. I guess I'm not a low inhib person (makes sense since I don't even drink/do mild shit like weed lol). I was talking to my GF about this experience and that I'm having second thoughts but she encouraged me to follow through but maybe I need a coach or something to help me feel more mentally prepared for this.

I also think I should use MCT oil (using GSO right now) test since this is thinner which will be better for subq injection and I think I should inject every day instead of EOD to reduce the amount I am injecting from 0.20 to 0.10 - hopefully that will help with the oil depos being smaller and resolving more quickly.

I am unsure if I will continue my dose on Monday and I might just stop now and reevaluate, take more time to process and then retry in future. Feeling like a pussy for backing out but I just dont have the dog in me to pin a harpoon of 300+ mg of test first cycle/blast like I'm sure many people here did for their first.

I will be starting reta tomorrow though 100% and I will stick through with this and I guess I'll see where this takes me. Might be better to be leaner anyways before starting test. Hopefully I don't become too much of a twink through using reta 😅

I'll take a look and I'll study this more for next time. I probably am going to give up with this subq shit and just get over the fear and do IM once I commit to using test again.

First full day on reta the lack of food noise is crazy... this is actually a miracle drug wow. I tried to eat some chips to test how I feel and it didn't even taste good... normally if I wanted to I could eat like 50 chips lol. I love that it doesn't make me feel wired or starving or anything - I just think about food less and when I eat I get tired of eating more quickly. I think I might need to up carbs and fats a bit, felt hard to push in the gym and lifts are 10% more challenging/weaker.

I have not really tracked food consistency, but did today to see how many cals I'm consuming to see if I am undereating. Maybe I need more carbs/fat (dont mind the Goal column, just some random thing I clicked).

retatrutide does cut food noise but you need to keep protein over 200 and at least 30-50 fat @zamtrios :D
 
Because my workout yesterday felt weak today I tried a preworkout meal of rice cakes, honey, and a banana and it was great. Felt a lot more energy during the workout and my overall cals are still the same. Might have to do this every day pre workout now.

Besides that have had protein shakes, chicken, sweet potato, milk, egg wraps sometimes, rice cakes w honey, bananas, popcorn. I started the commitment to test today (Sunday April 26th). Pinned 0.25 ml Test Cyp into. Things I did differently this time compared to last time:
- Delt 90 degree angle instead of upper glute
- 30g 1/2 inch needle instead of 31g 5/16 inch needle
- Definitely think I hit IM this time instead of likely SubQ last time
- Warmed syringe + needle in hot water (with cap on) - should still maintain fertility I think I hope LOL
- Injected slowly, about 30+ seconds
- No real injection pain, no real pip so far (its been 30 minutes). I massaged the injection site with an alcohol wipe not pushing too heavily. I also moved my arm around in circles for a while.

Aiming for around 180mg weekly. Injecting 3x a week (M/W/F).
On Tuesday/Thursday I will do HCG 300 IU into stomach subq fat likely.
As usual on Sunday I will do Reta 0.5mg for the next 2-3 weeks and see how I feel then maybe up to 0.75 or 1.

I hope doing low doses like this will prevent high E2 increase and hopefully no sides.
Going to keep eating the same and trying to do 15-20 min of cardio in the morning to help speed up fat loss.

I will get bloodwork in 6-8 weeks.

Feeling nervous only because I don't know if I'll have E2 problems with Test + HCG and get water retention or gyno development or something. I have Aromasin on hand though. 🙏

Does anyone know why my LDL and non HDL are out of range even pre using anything? Should I buy some ancillaries to help with this? Anyone have recommendations on what to use? I asked Claude and it said Omega 3 fish oil, Psyllium husk, Berberine, Red Yeast Rice, Plant Sterols - which of these should I buy and use daily?

its hard to say <30 because not sure 29 or 5 you have lcms there?
and hdl ldl not crucial in bodybuilding and will be off when you on cycle
and to top it off i suggested you take digestive aids already :D including psyllium husk btw
 
My left testicle was aching very slightly about 6 hours after injection. Guess the suppression is starting. My plan was to take HCG on the off days of test (so if I take Test Sunday/Tuesday/ Thursday) I was going to take 200 UI HCG Monday/Wednesday/Friday because I thought taking test + HCG on the same day might lead to bigger spikes in Test and therefore E2 conversion. @LevButlerov Do you think this plan is good or do you think I should just take HCG now and take HCG the same days as Test injection?
 
My nipples just started becoming a bit spicy.. oh boy. I am going to just leave it as is and stick to the plan. I could lower my dose from 180 to 150, but I think its too soon to tell. Because my SHBG is 42 which is high end of normal that means in theory a good portion of the total test should be bound up so it should not be converting too much into estrogen?

@zamtrios nothing wrong with a burger as long as you're using quality ingredients. Perfectly okay, you can always wrap the burger in lettuce.

Bros, the key when you're on RETA is to keep the diet on point. You're not going to be able to eat junk food anyway because it eliminates the food noise too much. @zamtrios

I like your update and I like how you're honest. @zamtrios you could certainly always depend on food prep. That will help you avoid junky foods. Those junky foods go to your gut and do nothing but hurt your gains. That's what you want to focus on going forward.

@zamtrios keep up the good work, champ. I'm glad you're not getting any injection issues and that the post-injection pain is fine. That's a good sign. 180 mg weekly sounds like a plan.

180 mg weekly is really good. I like that you're injecting three times a week. That seems to work really well for people. Looking forward to seeing your blood work in a couple months. @zamtrios

Makes sense because subQ is slower delivery compared to IM. i would do the hcg shot and get some tamoxifen so you can do 10mgs ed to be safe on the nipple gyno in case you have issues @zamtrios
 
that first line lowkey scared tf outta me lol. I would do 45 degrees but I feel like using 5/16 8mm needle is already pretty shallow which is why I stuck it straight in. Maybe I should do 1/2 inch needle to go deeper?
27g 1” or 1.5” will do you lovely, but you got it in there and that’s what counts.

After you complete the injection, hold it in for like 10 sec, then pull out quickly and press the site. Works for me

one of the things that we have to do when we're using these compounds is trial and error and learning from it. You'd be surprised. People have been using these things for 20 years and still have no clue.

I dont know if this is from the reta/caloric deficit or the test fucking up my hormones, but I honestly think I should stop test. Brother take a step back and evaluate everything you are doing.
First ask yourself why you are doing this cycle in the first place, like what is the main driving force behind you deciding to do this. I started Test for the first time in my life literally 3 days ago and yesterday I felt like I could f**ck a grandma to death if the situation presented itself.
Before we decide on jumping on any kind of cycle the first step is self awareness and being fully open with ourselves about why do we want this. Second is we have to be in the right mental state to go into this, because after all we are changing the physiological processes that happen in our body and that will have side effects. I wouldn't mess around with a cycle if I am not in a right place mentally.
Third, there is certain amount of guilt that comes with the first cycle because you are fighting the voice of reason in your head and if you cannot have that mental debate with yourself you are going to subconsciously fight the decision and every time you pin you are going to feel like you are doing something you shouldn't be doing and that will make you feel bad.

Lastly my advice, don't move too fast, take it one step at a time, create a plan, follow it but make sure to adjust it accordingly based on how you feel. Make sure you check you e2 levels every 2-3 weeks, make sure you get enough sleep, make sure you are honest with yourself when you look yourself in the mirror, make sure your diet is on point and most importantly make sure you want this and you are not fighting yourself on doing something based on a trend, or based on ego, or something that will hurt you in the end.

@zamtrios you’re ok. You are literally fine. Something is affecting you, that’s true. But don’t worry.
This could be a purely mental thing, could be that you’re experiencing some sort of hormonal effect, but don’t make any rash decisions. If you can schedule a blood test quick that would rule some things out.

It’s good that you’re sharing this, I have had mental side effects both from coming off steroids and from nandrolones. Your mind can play tricks on you. Don’t let it.
