Notes:
Good session today, got to gym a bit earlier and it was dead quiet which is perfect. Incline press felt harder today, actually got less reps than last time. At the end of the set it looks like it was a different Incline seat/Bench and it was a lot higher than what I normally do. Which would mean more shoulder work and difficulty. Im still happy with the results. Increased reps across the rest of the movements so loading will increase next time round. Finishing off with dips is brutal but satisfying.

Haha thanks mate, havnt really changed anything meal wise. Just increase or decrease depending on macros. Much easier for consistency

It feels so good to be able to start pushing the legs again. Annoyed me so much during the push phase having to nurse the injury

It was in the 90's during the blast. May have to take 10mg Nebivolo instead of 5mg next blast

Mixing some of the training up to single arm movements where possible so the pull/push direction is aligned with my anatomy and muscle fibre direction.
Decent pump again today, Chest and Arm still holding up good with no signs of discomfort.
Went for bloods today, those results will determine if we step into another bulk/blast or continue the health phase.
Next bulk may need a new log as the compounds are changing, we are going with test, mast and either npp or primo depending on E2 results.

Spent a lot of time rolling a trigger ball in my quad and really focused on the VMO area. No issues with hairs being caught this time as i had shaved. While rolling with the trigger ball i can feel some discomfort deep in the VMO which to me suggests its the Sartorius that is the issue.
Across the leg extension, walking db lunges and leg press didnt really notice any discomfort in my knee. Increased the volume across some of the exercises to start testing the knee amd again so far it is holding up. Next leg day is am hoping to be able to add squats to the routine 🀞🏼

Starting to notice more definition and vascularity in the legs. Overall very happy with the session, as i was able to actually put some decent effort in without being inhibited by injury. Did get a picture while on the leg extension but its not as good as what I can see with my eyes.

knee is doing better I hope :D legs looking big! 300 on leg press is a big win!

Spent a lot of time rolling a trigger ball in my quad and really focused on the VMO area. No issues with hairs being caught this time as i had shaved. While rolling with the trigger ball i can feel some discomfort deep in the VMO which to me suggests its the Sartorius that is the issue.
Across the leg extension, walking db lunges and leg press didnt really notice any discomfort in my knee. Increased the volume across some of the exercises to start testing the knee amd again so far it is holding up. Next leg day is am hoping to be able to add squats to the routine 🀞🏼

@Wookie man, it's tough especially with those injuries. Doing that rowing definitely I can imagine feels really good man.

Good job on this. The planks are a great addition. @Wookie I think a lot of people underrate how important core work is.

Today's session started off a bit slow, my kids were telling me about their day as I was about to start warming up. Then my son had some questions about a plan I knocked up for him to achieve his deadlift goal. But thats cool , training can always wait as kids arnt around forever and helping the boy achieve a goal is awesome.
Started off with the incline and decided seeing as im doing it twice a week, one day will be a high Incline and the other a lower angle. Today was the lower angle which resulted in a few more reps every set.
During the lat pulldown I noticed in the second set a bit of discomfort in the lower right bicep, which has been part of the ongoing Arm issue ive had for ages. I stopped at 8 reps and for the final set backed the weight off slightly with no noticeable issues.
With the V-Grip Row its also done twice a week so on the pull day ill use both arms and on the upper day, being today. Ill do single arm and sit kinda side saddle so that im pulling in a straight line and really focus on pulling the elbow back low and close to the body.
The session unfortunately was a bit start stop waiting for machines, even with changing the order and substituting some exercises.


Blood results attached from monday, coach has me correcting Lipids before we blast again so will use this time to cut down as well

His goal is 160kg dead by feb next year, currently at 100kg. Has a bet with the gym owner, 1000 push ups on the line. Just have to careful as hes only 14.

Spent a lot of time rolling a trigger ball in my quad and really focused on the VMO area. No issues with hairs being caught this time as i had shaved. While rolling with the trigger ball i can feel some discomfort deep in the VMO which to me suggests its the Sartorius that is the issue.
Across the leg extension, walking db lunges and leg press didnt really notice any discomfort in my knee. Increased the volume across some of the exercises to start testing the knee amd again so far it is holding up. Next leg day is am hoping to be able to add squats to the routine 🀞🏼

Starting to notice more definition and vascularity in the legs. Overall very happy with the session, as i was able to actually put some decent effort in without being inhibited by injury. Did get a picture while on the leg extension but its not as good as what I can see with my eyes.

Intent was to work up to 100kg for a couple of reps to feel how the knee responds. Next minute I got 140kg on the bar, could feel a slight discomfort but not in a bad way. I felt bloody good after the squats, nothing like the full body exhaustion you get from squatting. I wanted to go more but decided to play it safe for now.
Due to the loading from squats i backed the leg extensions off so as to not over work the knee.
Overall was a good session with noticeable increase in effort and loading across alot of exercises.

While warming up on 80kg i felt something in the right arm, a twinge. I decided to not go any heavier, moved my hands a bit closer and just did a couple sets at 5 reps.
No issues with the DB Press so was able to push reps out like normal. I honestly thought i would have got more reps for the 3rd set but i was gassed.
Across all the exercises I was able to get more reps and/or an increase of weight.

Felt good today, got some extra reps on Chin ups to start off with. This produced a good pump for the session.
Can feel a little niggle in the bicep again. Mainly on the lat pulldown movement, i just dialed the weight back 5kg amd it was fine. By the time I got to the Iso-Laterial Row I could feel some fatigue feom the earlier movements. So again just dropped back 2.5kg.
Got a good pump from the cable hammer curls, unfortunately the photo dosnt really reflect what I could see.
Check in with coach was good, have dropped protein by 50g and fat by 10g as we tidy up while the Lipids are out. Looking at 4-6 weeks then it will be blast off again.

Felt good today, got some extra reps on Chin ups to start off with. This produced a good pump for the session.
Can feel a little niggle in the bicep again. Mainly on the lat pulldown movement, i just dialed the weight back 5kg amd it was fine. By the time I got to the Iso-Laterial Row I could feel some fatigue feom the earlier movements. So again just dropped back 2.5kg.
Got a good pump from the cable hammer curls, unfortunately the photo dosnt really reflect what I could see.
Check in with coach was good, have dropped protein by 50g and fat by 10g as we tidy up while the Lipids are out. Looking at 4-6 weeks then it will be blast off again.

Legs feeling strong especially in the leg press.
I did have to leave for 10mins mid sesh which probably wasnt ideal but we had to pick my wife car up from mechanics before they closed.

Added BB RDL to the session for some more hamstring movements.
Overall was happy with the output, looking forward to trying squats again on the lower day.

Ripped into the chin ups then straight into the deads, what a pump. My son was there watching the last couple lifts so was good to explain the cues and technique especially in the higher end.
He was wanting me to go further but as I explained, knowing when to stop comes with experience..... sometimes πŸ˜… Form was a bit sloppy for the last lift and that was a great visual to back up what I was saying.
On the Lat pulldown i could feel something in the right bicep again so just backed the weight off and slowed the tempo down to still facilitate the fatigue/burn. Put some focus into the single arm movements to really get the lats engaging.
Wife said she was watching me from the treadmills (Im feeling like a piece of meat 🀣) and could see a lot of definition in my back/shoulders while doing chin ups.
Was definitely a good pump as a few hours later at home what I could see in the reflection of the windows was pretty good .
Overall very happy with the session πŸ’ͺ🏼

Its that same ongoing issue i have. I thought id gotten past it with all the stretching and trigger ball work. In the rep range of the lat pulldown I would say it was at around the halfway mark. I can feel it on the lower end of the inner bicep or its the brachioradialis under it. It kimda feels like a bit of an electric shock. Dosnt always happen, part of getting old maybe 🀣

No blood pressure issues with that combo, but i am going to scale it back abit

Felt a little off in the guts to start with while warming up/stretching. Did DB Incline instead of BB as it has been better in the arm with the niggle in the bicep previously.
It was actually quite good, my young fella didnt start his session so be could give me a spot on 50's if it was needed.
I had to mix up the rotation of exercises due to machines being used at the time, this happens in small gyms unfortunately. I think stepping lat movements and going straight from chest to shoulders didnt allow enough of a rest that i was still exhausted power wise.
Did some dips while waiting on the cable machine to be free.
Overall i felt like it was a really good session, still progressing weight and/or reps on this lower dose.
Check in with coach went good, says the front is looking really good, just wants to work on thw stubborn fat hanging around the love handles/upper glutes. 3-4kg more to lose then we take off again.

The walking DB lunges were brutal today, after each set i could feel the chest beating like id done so sort of HIT cardio. Obviously after the squats and lunges my legs were smashed so dialed the weight back abit on the leg extensions. Then finished of with some LISS cardio as a warm down.

Felt a little off in the guts to start with while warming up/stretching. Did DB Incline instead of BB as it has been better in the arm with the niggle in the bicep previously.
It was actually quite good, my young fella didnt start his session so be could give me a spot on 50's if it was needed.
I had to mix up the rotation of exercises due to machines being used at the time, this happens in small gyms unfortunately. I think stepping lat movements and going straight from chest to shoulders didnt allow enough of a rest that i was still exhausted power wise.
Did some dips while waiting on the cable machine to be free.
Overall i felt like it was a really good session, still progressing weight and/or reps on this lower dose.
Check in with coach went good, says the front is looking really good, just wants to work on thw stubborn fat hanging around the love handles/upper glutes. 3-4kg more to lose then we take off again.

I used that time to watch so training vids by J3U
@Wookie this is the type of iron training that I've come to respect. You always put together some of the best training sessions. The volume is tremendous.
Volume might not be ideal to some people, but its something i like and recovery well from.
Your updates come and they are always solid. Sorry about having some stomach issues when you first start. Maybe take a look at what you're eating and the timing. You might be eating too close to your training. @Wookie

Today's session started good, lots of deep trigger ball work before getting into the anterior pelvic tilt corrective exercises. This serves as a goos warm up/priming movements. Knee is still feeling pretty good overall.
Started with lunges first as the leg extension machine was in use. Unfortunately felt a twinge in the groin/Abductor area of left leg on the second rep of 400kg on leg press so stopped. Even today (being the next day) its still a bit tender.
For the rest of the exercises I just backed them off a bit to not further aggravate what I did.

Today's session started good, lots of deep trigger ball work before getting into the anterior pelvic tilt corrective exercises. This serves as a goos warm up/priming movements. Knee is still feeling pretty good overall.
Started with lunges first as the leg extension machine was in use. Unfortunately felt a twinge in the groin/Abductor area of left leg on the second rep of 400kg on leg press so stopped. Even today (being the next day) its still a bit tender.
For the rest of the exercises I just backed them off a bit to not further aggravate what I did.

πŸ“ Notes:

Started off with movements for Rounded Shoulders and Forward Head Posture for a warm up followed by rhe routine stretching and Banded movements. This also gives time for the school kids to clear out a bit.
I have dropped the incline bench for a bit as the front delt on the right side is feeling a bit sore. Had to do DB Shoulder Press just sitting on a normal bench as the incline bench was being used. Overall was a good session, feel like I had a good pump. Just need the shredded look my arms have on the rest of the body 🀣
