E2 rebound.

I ran very low E2 with high DHT for about 3–4 months.

Physically I looked great — lean, dry, hard. From the outside everything looked on point.

Mentally though, it was rough. Mood was off, mentally unstable at times, and I didn’t feel like myself at all.

I also noticed I looked older than usual, which I’m pretty sure was due to the low estrogen.

I stopped Masteron (my DHT-based compound) and I’m now only running testosterone — 1 ml per week (250 mg). I’ve been on test-only since the beginning of December.

The last two weeks I’ve actually started to feel good again.

No more emotional relationship problems, no obsessive or borderline crazy behavior toward my girlfriend. Mentally I feel much more stable and normal again.

One thing I’ve noticed though: I’m holding more water, especially around my waist/midsection.

Is this normal after dropping DHT and letting E2 come back up? Will this usually stabilize over time, or is it something I should actively manage?

Also important to mention: I’m currently in a country where it’s very difficult to get bloodwork done, so I can’t easily rely on labs.

Given all this, how would you guys suggest building from here?

Would you stay on test-only for a longer period to fully stabilize, or is there a smart way to optimize things without pushing E2 too high again?

Appreciate any input or similar experiences.

welcome to the EVO family :D @Palermo we have other Italian EVO brothers @Simoneme @Pepty

Yes that water gain is normal when you drop a DHT compound and e2 comes back up, estrogen improves joint health, mood, but the look usually smooths out before stabilizing. Like you feel water gains.

Without bloodwork this is all feel based which is bad, so get a simple log up with bodyweight, food, sodium, training, sleep, and sides so the EVO family can see patterns and help you dial test only properly instead of guessing. 15min of your time to get a log up.

You can see your fellow Italian brothers have logs up

HOW-TO LOG?

Why is a Log Journal important?

  • Doing a log will actually help you way more than just dropping random updates. When you lay it all out week by week you start to see patterns in your body that you won’t catch otherwise.
  • Other guys here run logs all the time and there’s no privacy issue, nobody is asking for your name or anything personal, it is just training, diet, and how the compound feels.
  • The feedback you get is also way better because people can follow along and spot things you might miss. It also helps the next guy who is thinking about running the same compound so you are giving back while you learn.
  • Even if you think you might not stick with it, just starting the log makes it easier to come back and add quick notes. That way you get more out of what you are running instead of keeping it all in your head.

To really guide you we need more info from you:
  • Please share your diet, training, cardio, sleep, supplements etc log with us in a NEW thread, full log journal so our guidance is based on facts you provide.
  • It will take 15-20 minutes max.
  • We have 100s of years of experience between us, so you need to post a LOG Journal with your stats (weight, height, age, years training, cycle history) diet, training, cardio, supplement, sleep details. If you don't log what you eat or train now, open NOTES on phone and start recording it there and paste here. Very easy.
  • Please post a Log Journal asap for us

Thank you for your reply.

Inwas thinking to lieer to 125 mg Because I dont want to get to big. Just Healthy levels. I abused the drugs to hard before.

That's interesting that you think you aged more with lower estrogen. I will have to look more into that but I would think it would be the opposite. But it just goes to show you that low estrogen isn't good.

My advice is I know it's difficult to get blood work but you need to really do it. This way you keep your estrogen levels balanced. You need to learn how to manage that because it's not gonna work if your estrogen is too low or too high.

At the end of the day let's be honest, everybody's going to be different. Some people are very sensitive to estrogen and some people aren't.

Yeah we need estrogen for good quality skin. And I saw like my face looked Older. Like more drained… die to low estrogen. You should look into it. Also dry scalp of low e2.

Thats 100% a correct statement. Some people feel amazing on mast while for me does the opposite. I think that character plays a huge role. By nature I am very laid back, peacefull, no F giving mentallity but when my E2 is out of balance…. Just a mentally sick man

Yes, obviously both are bad but high estrogen will definitely speed up aging, considering it is fuel for cancer cells

I had a similar experience a while back. I let my estrogen get out of control because my source didn't carry an AI. Once I did get an AI, I loaded up on Letro and I smashed my estrogen down and I felt horrible. You're not alone on that.

Bros, you should definitely listen to your body. Some people react better to one thing and some people to the other.

Its horrible… What were your mental symptoms ?

This week I am lowering my dose
From 250 to 160 mg as test e. Mentally I feel calm, training also good. Appetite is also going back up. The reason I lower is Because I did this before my crash with mast. And felt very good. I do also 2 injections

Sunday en thursday.

That's great to see, boss. I'm glad that you are making the changes you need.

I think the best way to do it is just keep it balanced.
