Writing from Italy! This is going to be my very first cycle.

I have an ectomorph “hardgainer” body type. I’m naturally defined but lack muscle mass and struggle to gain weight.

My goal is keepable, permanent gains. I prefer quality tissue over water weight, and I would like to ensure a smooth recovery with a proper PCT 🙂

STATS:
Age: 31
Height: 184 cm (6’0”)
Weight: 72 kg (158 lbs)
Body Fat: ~10-11%
Training Experience: Years of lifting, but never nailed the bulk diet consistently.

BASELINE BLOODWORK:
Total Testosterone: 581 ng/dL (Ref: 164 - 753)
Estradiol (E2): 35.7 pg/mL (Ref: 11.8 - 48.9)
LH: 5.83 mIU/ml (Ref: 1.5 - 10.0)
FSH: 5.52 mIU/ml (Ref: 1.4 - 18.1)
LDL Cholesterol: 125 mg/dl (Ref: <130)
Cortisol: 17.1 mcg/dl (Ref: 5.3 - 22.4)

CURRENT PROTOCOL:
HGH: 2 IU/day. Currently morning, switching to pre-bed after the holidays.
Retatrutide: 2 mg/week

PLANNED CYCLE (12-14 Weeks):

I want to keep it simple and safe for a first run and that is my starting idea (but I’m ready to destroy it 🙂)

Testosterone Enanthate: 250 mg/week.
Primobolan: 200 mg/week.
HCG: 500 IU/week (to help keep testes active ?)
Total: 450mg/week.


PCT PLAN (Seeking advice):
I want to secure my gains and recover my natural production (which i think is currently good).

Start: 18 days after last pin.
Protocol: Enclomiphene (25mg -> 12.5mg) + Nolvadex (20mg -> 10mg) for 4 weeks.
• Is this PCT protocol solid for a 12-14 week run?

TRAINING & DIET:
Split: 4-Day PUSH/PULL (Strength & Posture focus).

DAY 1 - PUSH A :
• Chest Press Barbell 4x8
• Seated DB Shoulder Press 3x10
• Dips (Assisted/Weighted) 3x8-10
• Rear Lunges 3x12
• Core: Plank + Hollow Hold


DAY 2 - PULL A :
• Trap Bar Deadlift 4x6
• One Arm DB Row 3x10
• Neutral Grip Lat Pulldown 3x10-12
• Hip Thrust 3x12
• EZ Bar Curl 3x10

DAY 3 - PUSH B:
• Standing Military Press 4x6
• Incline DB Press 3x8
• Deficit Push-ups 3xMax
• Step-ups 3x10
• Core: Stability Ball Roll-out

DAY 4 - PULL B:
• Romanian Deadlift 4x8
• TRX/Bar Row 3x10
• Close Grip Cable Row 3x12

Diet: Aiming for +500 kcal surplus. High Protein/High Carb.

QUESTIONS:
1. Is 12 weeks enough to solidify gains with Primobolan (I heard it shines in longer cycles)?
2. Any general tips? Better to stick just to Test?

and share pics of your bloods please, blur personal info

Diet, Training, Cardio
Diet, please share foods and meals and when you eat them, macros would be good
Training, please share actual exercises reps sets and weights, as you go especially get stronger
cardio how much do you do? when etc
If you don't log what you eat or train now, open NOTES on phone and start recording it there and paste here. Or use an app like myfitness pal or cronometer. Very easy.

I live in EU so i'm searching a good source at the moment, i still need to buy everything (except HGH and Reta that i already have), because i was searching for feedback on those: i was/am really unsure if try my first cycle with just Test or also Primo and the length of it.
I've the option to buy them from Driada, they should be serious and i bought from them in the past (not steroids).

About the diet, i'm currently below my TDEE that is 2500kcal, i think to aim for a +500cal surplus during the cycle with this partitioning:
  • 3000 kcal
  • 220g PRO
  • 400g CHO
  • 70g FAT
I usually eat 3 times a day (now it's really easy because i'm just back at my TDEE after a cut), but i think i'll need to eat more times to reach my calorie goal.

For supps, i didn't take anything until this Monday when i started to use creatine again (5g a day), omega 3, multivitamin but i don't use any of the one you listed :)

Ciao! looking good mate. I also struggle with putting on weight and am tall and long limbed. Do u want to continue the Reta with this cycle? If you want to put on some size you may want to lower it if this is gonna be a ‘lean bill’ as such?

About the diet, i'm currently below my TDEE that is 2500kcal, i think to aim for a +500cal surplus during the cycle with this partitioning:

  • 220g PRO
  • 400g CHO
  • 70g FAT
I usually eat 3 times a day (now it's really easy because i'm just back at my TDEE after a cut), but i think i'll need to eat more times to reach my calorie goal.

For supps, i didn't take anything until this Monday when i started to use creatine again (5g a day), omega 3, multivitamin but i don't use any of the one you listed :)

Welcome to the family bro!

Looks like a very smart very safe first cycle. You should get exactly what you're looking for. Solid gains that you can hold onto. I ran a pretty similar cycle for my first and kept pretty much everything I gained. I ran my first cycle for 16 weeks.

Training split looks really good too.

Its pretty cool that you found us from Italy. We actually have another Italian logger here as well @Simoneme

Nice start to your log. You have provided a lot of good information.

My thoughts on your split are that it's ok but just an upper/lower or push/pull/legs would be better. Doing one leg exercise per session probably isn't enough to properly stimulate growth. Also, is there any reason you aren't doing 'bigger bang for your buck' leg exercises?

Looks like a very smart very safe first cycle. You should get exactly what you're looking for. Solid gains that you can hold onto. I ran a pretty similar cycle for my first and kept pretty much everything I gained. I ran my first cycle for 16 weeks.

1. Primo works well when run over long periods and be run for 16 weeks
2. With your base and as a first cycle I think Test only is a good start. This is just beginning of your journey and there's no rush. You can add primo if you really want to though.

What have you decided regarding when to get bloodwork and an AI if your Test dose shows high e2? Some users aromatize dramatically even on 250mgs.

I also don't think you need the HCG on cycle. You can order HCGenerate and also run N2Guard on cycle for organ support and it will keep your bloodwork markers healthier. I run N2Guard all year round.
 
I like it. I do think that the primo won’t really be noticeable other than very likely helping with the e2 which was definitely an issue with me running hcg. Debatable that hcg is necessary but I liked using it. Adding it to testosterone will have your blood levels much higher than 250mg of testosterone alone. I can’t comment on pct as I’ve never pct’d myself. It would probably be simpler, cheaper, and more effective to run higher testosterone, hcg maybe, and aromasin. You’re going to get results that’s for sure. You already have a great start, good bloodwork, etc. so you’ll probably start growing size and strength within the first or second week. You’ll like it and you may not want to come off, that’s what happened to me. But you should I think. When you come off, it’s going to mess with you psychologically to lose your gains but assuming you make a good pct recovery (you will) I do think that you’ll be bigger and stronger then before you started once you recover. And you’re not that hard of a gainer, you look great! This is going to be a great log!

To clarify, I’m running a 4-Day Split (Push A / Pull A / Rest / Push B / Pull B / Rest / Rest).
Regarding cardio, I do 20 mins of LISS (incline walking) after every workout to keep heart health in check, especially with the extra water weight from GH.


About the sets/reps you asked:
For the main compounds (Deadlift, Military, Bench), I stick to the 4x6-8 range to focus on strength recovery since my cut.
For accessories (Lateral raises, Arms), I go higher volume (3x12-15).
Do you think this volume is enough for an enhanced run, or should I bump it up slightly since recovery will be better?

Day C:
  • Military Press: 4x6 - 22 lbs
  • Incline Dumbbell Press: 3x8 40 lbs
  • Elevated Push-ups: Max reps
  • Dumbbell Step-ups: 3x10 35 lbs

I will stick to a high-calorie Mediterranean approach (being Italian, I can't escape it! 🇮🇹).
Sources: Lots of Pasta/Rice, Oats, Chicken breast, Lean Beef, Olive Oil (EVO), Fish and veggies.
I don't eat "dirty" stuff at all, and always had a super clean diet. I don't like processed foods honestly.
Consider that I'm not used to eating a lot, I always skip breakfast (due to IF), but I understand it will be impossible to hit 3000+ kcal in just 2 meals, so I will re-introduce breakfast.
I plan to center my Carbs around the workout (Pre/Post) and keep dinner mostly Protein/Fats/Veggies, so I can leverage the GH lipolysis effect during the night.

  • Length: Yeah, I heard Primo shines later. If I run it, I might extend to 14-16 weeks if bloodwork looks good at week 8.
  • Test Only vs Stack: I’m torn. Part of me wants to keep it simple with Test Only, but the other part wants the "dry" look and E2 management benefits of Primo.

About your question on Bloodwork & AI:
My plan:
  • AI: I'll get Arimidex on hand (0.25mg tabs ready), but I will NOT take it preventively.
  • Monitoring: I will check blood pressure and water retention daily.
  • Bloodwork: I plan to get full labs done at Week 5 (when levels should be stable?).
    • If E2 is high (>80 pg/ml) AND I have symptoms (itchy nipples/bloat) -> I'll dose Arimidex 0.25mg EOD.
    • If E2 is high but I feel great -> I won't touch it.

Does that sound like a solid strategy to you? I want to avoid crashing my E2 by taking AI blindly.

My plan was to run Test + Primo (approx 300mg Test / 200mg Primo) to keep gains lean and manage estrogen easier.


Would you recommend just running Test solo at 500mg for a beginner if Primo is out? My goal here is to "safely" push my first cycle as best as I can and plan it carefully to leverage the results of the first cycle (which I know is the most impactful).


Looking forward to placing the order once I decide on the compounds!

That's actually my biggest fear, not the needle, but the day I have to stop. I know the feeling of losing the "superman" status will be tough mentally 😁

That's exactly why I'm considering extending the cycle to 16 weeks.

My logic is this: I want to overshoot my goal.

If I stop exactly when I see the physique I want in the mirror, the inevitable post-cycle loss (water/glycogen) will leave me feeling small and disappointed but if I ppush for extra gains during a longer 16-week run, even after losing 30-40% during PCT, I should land exactly on my wanted physique. I think this "buffer strategy" might help soften the psychological blow of coming off, but this could be my stupid idea!


Regarding Primo/Test:
Interesting take on Primo. If 200mg is too subtle for mass but good for E2 control, maybe the 350 Test / 250 Primo sweet spot is better? Or just stick to Test + AI if needed as you suggested (cheaper for sure).
I will probably keep HCG in the mix (maybe just 250iu 2x/week) to keep the boys alive for an easier recovery.

Thanks again for saying I have a good base, sometimes body dysmorphia makes us blind to our own progress!

I live in EU so i'm searching a good source at the moment, i still need to buy everything (except HGH and Reta that i already have), because i was searching for feedback on those: i was/am really unsure if try my first cycle with just Test or also Primo and the length of it.
I've the option to buy them from Driada, they should be serious and i bought from them in the past (not steroids).

About the diet, i'm currently below my TDEE that is 2500kcal, i think to aim for a +500cal surplus during the cycle with this partitioning:

  • 70g FAT
I usually eat 3 times a day (now it's really easy because i'm just back at my TDEE after a cut), but i think i'll need to eat more times to reach my calorie goal.

Ho fatto un giro di testo e poi PCT ma é stata molto dura e ho perso il 20% che avevo guadagnato in termini di forza . Infatti adesso sono in self trt e va tutto estremamente bene. Io non avrò figli per cui non mi serve fare PCT, sono curioso di vedere a giugno quando finisco il blast di testo deca boldenone come va col TRT

Let me put it this way: I was eager to use primo ever since I heard about it. I ordered it a handful of times and was responded to with emails like “sorry brother, we’re just sold out” and I successfully ordered it twice and it was seized. I finally got some and used it recently at 350mg a week. I couldn’t even tell I was taking anything other than I knew I would be having e2 side effects but I was not. So that was a good thing, but it just didn’t contribute to any noticeable gains. There’s other reasons for that, like my training was badly interrupted, but nevertheless, I think you would be wise to skip it for your first cycle. It will confuse things. You want this to be very simple, you want to know what the testosterone is doing for you and how you react to it before you add anything. It will be building up and changing your results and sides mid cycle and you won’t be able to pinpoint what’s doing what as easily, although with the gurus here you likely would be able to figure it out, but there’s just no need. Aromasin is what you want, I’m confident in that. An oral like anavar or (my personal preference) winstrol will give you a very noticeable effect with zero aromatization if you’re really looking to get the most out of your first cycle, but even that will be unnecessary because you’re starting off from such a good place that you WILL get great gains. Already training well, eating well, good physique, AND already on GH. The only thing that could trip you up is over complicating it

Listen to @toddthelineman, you don't need Primo, honestly. Especially as a first cycle and how organized and detailed you are. I wish more members and first timers were more like you and willing to start with just a nice long test only cycle so you can start the journey of seeing what compounds do what for you and how you respond. Bloods at week 5 is good.

Let's see how you respond to a Test only cycle and worry about DHT and Nandrolone compounds later on. This is the start of your journey so let's make it really work. The dry lean mass gain look can be obtained with a Test only cycle if you don't overdo it which it seems like you're not intending to (assuming you're eating for this goal). The hard dry look can be obtained later with EQ (which converts via 5a-reductase to DHB) and helps control e2 as well but this is for another time. Later down the road Masteron also helps with this look.

I'll get Arimidex on hand (0.25mg tabs ready), but I will NOT take it preventively.
If your e2 comes in high then have Aromasin on hand, not Arimidex. Arimidex is powerful and more of a "break glass in case of emergency" kind of AI and has rebound effects. Aromasin will be a smooth e2 reduction and give you a softer landing when you don't need it anymore.

Yes if your intention is to get bloodwork this is a good strategy. Have the aromasin on hand and we'll get bloods during week 5 like you want and we'll go from there. Going by "feel" isn't something you can do yet as you're so new to this and over the years you'll get to know but I've been doing it 25 years and I still use bloodwork to truly decide if an AI is needed regardless of how I feel. Having said that I know when it's low and I know when it's high and am usually correct but have been wrong too. You definitely don't want low e2 and in fact want it in the mid/high range especially if using GH and it needs e2 for conversion to IGF1.

It's good you're so keen on planning out this first cycle as detailed as you are before deciding on the compounds and dosing. I'll leave the final dosing for (in my opinion what should be) you test only cycle to @LevButlerov
 
The hard dry look can be obtained later with EQ
Oooo I forgot one thing. The two times that I came off completely… I thought I already looked dry and grainy. No I didn’t! When the test cleared my skin looked like Saran Wrap. I looked like an anatomy model for some kind of medical school or something lol. If you’re lean, that little layer of water goes away and you look crazy! Pretty cool bonus for coming off if you ask me

I have an ectomorph “hardgainer” body type. I’m naturally defined but lack muscle mass and struggle to gain weight.

My goal is keepable, permanent gains. I prefer quality tissue over water weight, and I would like to ensure a smooth recovery with a proper PCT 🙂

Hi everyone,

Writing from Italy! This is going to be my very first cycle.

I have an ectomorph “hardgainer” body type. I’m naturally defined but lack muscle mass and struggle to gain weight.

My goal is keepable, permanent gains. I prefer quality tissue over water weight, and I would like to ensure a smooth recovery with a proper PCT 🙂

STATS:
Age: 31
Height: 184 cm (6’0”)
Weight: 72 kg (158 lbs)
Body Fat: ~10-11%
Training Experience: Years of lifting, but never nailed the bulk diet consistently.

BASELINE BLOODWORK:
Total Testosterone: 581 ng/dL (Ref: 164 - 753)
Estradiol (E2): 35.7 pg/mL (Ref: 11.8 - 48.9)
LH: 5.83 mIU/ml (Ref: 1.5 - 10.0)
FSH: 5.52 mIU/ml (Ref: 1.4 - 18.1)
LDL Cholesterol: 125 mg/dl (Ref: <130)
Cortisol: 17.1 mcg/dl (Ref: 5.3 - 22.4)

CURRENT PROTOCOL:
HGH: 2 IU/day. Currently morning, switching to pre-bed after the holidays.
Retatrutide: 2 mg/week

PLANNED CYCLE (12-14 Weeks):

I want to keep it simple and safe for a first run and that is my starting idea (but I’m ready to destroy it 🙂)

Testosterone Enanthate: 250 mg/week.
Primobolan: 200 mg/week.
HCG: 500 IU/week (to help keep testes active ?)
Total: 450mg/week.


PCT PLAN (Seeking advice):
I want to secure my gains and recover my natural production (which i think is currently good).

Start: 18 days after last pin.
Protocol: Enclomiphene (25mg -> 12.5mg) + Nolvadex (20mg -> 10mg) for 4 weeks.
• Is this PCT protocol solid for a 12-14 week run?

TRAINING & DIET:
Split: 4-Day PUSH/PULL (Strength & Posture focus).

DAY 1 - PUSH A :
• Chest Press Barbell 4x8
• Seated DB Shoulder Press 3x10
• Dips (Assisted/Weighted) 3x8-10
• Rear Lunges 3x12
• Core: Plank + Hollow Hold


DAY 2 - PULL A :
• Trap Bar Deadlift 4x6
• One Arm DB Row 3x10
• Neutral Grip Lat Pulldown 3x10-12
• Hip Thrust 3x12
• EZ Bar Curl 3x10

DAY 3 - PUSH B:
• Standing Military Press 4x6
• Incline DB Press 3x8
• Deficit Push-ups 3xMax

• Core: Stability Ball Roll-out

DAY 4 - PULL B:
• Romanian Deadlift 4x8
• TRX/Bar Row 3x10

Diet: Aiming for +500 kcal surplus. High Protein/High Carb.

QUESTIONS:
1. Is 12 weeks enough to solidify gains with Primobolan (I heard it shines in longer cycles)?
2. Any general tips? Better to stick just to Test?

While waiting for my first Test cycle (starts in 2 weeks hopefully, I’ve saw that orders on PSL will be managed from 5 Jan) so I’ve gradually increased from maintenance to controlled surplus.

MEAL TIMING (4 meals, training at 12:00 PM):

Breakfast: 9 AM
Lunch: 1:30 PM
Snack: 4:30 PM
Dinner 7 PM

Carb distribution: 80% around workout (breakfast + lunch), low-carb dinner to optimize GH at night (I inject GH ~22:00).

I’m also tapering down Reta to be able to eat all those calories, i want to keep it during the cycle maybe just 0.5 to help prevent insulin resistence due to GH.

This makes total sense. I’ve just updated my cart: swapped Arimidex for Aromasin (Exemestane) as my primary control tool.
I also added Nolvadex (Tamoxifen) to have on hand specifically for any acute nipple/gyno issues, just to be 100% safe.

Updated Plan based on your / everyone feedback:
  • Cycle: Test Enanthate Only (500mg/week) for 12-16 weeks.
  • Support: Aromasin on hand (not preventative), Nolvadex for emergency.
  • Bloods: Confirmed for Week 5 to check E2 levels.
I'm still reseraching if run HCG or not.

I really appreciate you guys guiding me away from newbie errors.

This is a good diet, but you need to add 1 avocado per day to this @pety and can you swap the almonds for walnuts?

This is my first cycle and i know that the needle has to be chosen based on the oil density since every producer has different kind of oil (some smoother, some more dense).

I'm also researching where to inject, it's not so easy for me to pin in the glutes :rolleyes:

Ciao io uso 25g 1 inch come ago per iniettare.
Non usare lo stesso ago per aspirare e iniettare, perché perde il filo e fa male!
Adesso siccome inietto 1 ml 2 volte a settima uso il gluteo e il ventro gluteale.
In piedi davanti allo specchio. Con la Dx lo spingi nella natica dx. Poi ti aiuti con la sx per tenerla ferma e con la dx ancora spingi lo stantuffo. Sconsiglio il quad, ci ho provato una volta un male bestia, é pieno di nervi. Nella spalla invece faccio il TRT che é 0.3 ml essendo un muscolo più piccolo lo tollera meglio.

Aggiornamento : stamattina ho provato a inserire l'ago da seduto sul quad seguendo le indicazioni del forum, nessun problema.

Will monitor closely... if nipples act up Week 2-3 I'll get urgent bloods before dosing AI blind. Sound reasonable or you have a different approach?

if you're using hcg you should be using aromasin tbh
crashing is 1 thing but you can have other symptoms, we likely should test 3 weeks in

I checked your bloods E2 is fairly normal now mid range so with the HCG dose you using you can take 5mgs/week aromasin even 1st week

Do you find pump work (12-20 rep range, drop sets, etc.) more effective on-cycle compared to staying in the 6-10 range?

I’ve read that enhanced athletes can benefit from higher rep isolation work due to better nutrient shuttling, but want to balance that with joint safety and not overdoing volume.

Current plan is keeping compounds in 6-10 range and adding isolation pump work at the end (lateral raises, curls, pushdowns, etc.).

Thoughts on my previously posted workout?

Great log with lots of good info here already. This is making me rethink my second cycle which was going to be test and primo. Now I’m leaning more towards a test only cycle. I’ll be watching you

Well.... those weight made me think that i'm weak af!

I'm optimistic.. coming from a "big" drop in weight, lost almost 10kg (now i'm 71 kg) and lost lot of strength with it.. now i'm reverting the diet and eating properly (2600kcal) so I'm sure those will increase in the next weeks.

It took me 2 hours because I wanted to do proper work to figure out the right weights for my current condition.
I used the session to establish a new baseline after the introduction of new exercise, so I spent lot of time 😅

I plan to keep the rest on compound 90-120 seconds and 60-90 on isolation exercise.. need to adapt the workout to my current routine, i hit the gym before lunch during my lunch break so i can’t stay there for hours, i have 1.5 hr maximum 😁

This week when i do RM tests, i will take 3-4 minutes rest between attempts of the same exercise if i need to retest with different weight.

Today i've spent a few hours in the gym (and will do the same for the next days) to re-calculate the weight and test the weight of the exercise that i've added to increase the volume.

Flat Bench Press - 4x6-8 - 22.5kg: 8 reps, 7 reps, 6 reps, 6 reps
Shoulder Press - 4x8-10 - 12.5kg
Incline DB Fly - 3x10-12 - 9kg
Assisted Dips - 3x8-10 - 28kg assistance
Cable Lateral Raise - 3x12-15 - 2.5kg

@Pepty good job on the flat bench press and shoulder press. You're doing really good on that. Assisted dips are also a good one.

Bros, looking really good, flat bench press and shoulder press, some of my favorites. @Pepty assisted dips are looking really good and so are the cable lateral raises.

@Pepty really looking forward to seeing what kind of progression you can make. These are some solid looking workouts. I like the Bulgarian split squats. They are very solid.

sometimes prolactin can show up high. but its a volatile number. the good news is it is easy to combat. you can just get some caber @Pepty

I felt a bad sensation on my right spinal sacrum muscle during the execution of the Trap Bar Deadlift.. those back exercise scares me a lot, i've a L5 S1 protrusion and was wondering to switch to a different exercise..

I'm also thinking to buy TB157 / TB500 or both of them to support during this journey, since i can understand that during the cycle the muscle will grow faster than tendins so i've to really be careful about which weight i lift.

Ahahah no, 2 hours was to test all the RM, so with super rests between sets (3-4 minutes) but my workout usually lasts maximum 1.5 hr! :D

I think I had proper form, but I have an old disc protrusion (lower right side) that flares up with trap bar deadlifts.

I'll swap it for hip thrusts or leg press as my main compound to allow heavy progressive overload without spinal loading.

Form is importantt but with my back history, I need to choose exercises where I can push hard without risking injury. Better to progress safely on a different movement than stress about form breaking down under heavy deads.

What you think, any compound exercise that i can use in your opinion?

Whey protein: 30g (22.8 pro)
Honey: 10 g
Banana: 50 g
Peanut Butter: 20g
Oats: 100g
Milk: 400 (today i've dropped too much milk)

This is a tough injury place, you need to start pinning bpc157 and tb500 close to the area @Pepty do you have them?

breakfast shake is good I like it but milk good you dropped a bit

Yesterday's training felt really good. I think the calorie increase is helping with strength, or maybe it's just placebo, but I lifted more than previous weeks on basically all exercises:

DAY 1 - PUSH A

  • Seated DB Shoulder Press 4x8-10: Week 1: 12.5kg → Week 2: 15kg
  • Incline DB Fly 3x10-12: Week 1: 10kg → Week 2: 12.5kg
  • Dips (Assisted/Weighted) 3x8-10: Week 1: -28kg assist → Week 2: -21kg assist
  • Cable Lateral Raise 3x12-15: Week 1 & 2: 2.5kg (maintaining form)
  • Rear Lunges 4x10: Week 1 & 2: 17.5kg per hand
  • Core: Plank 3x max hold

I just started my first cycle two days and I’m weighing two different philosophies regarding AI management. I’d love to get your take on this.

Baseline Bloods: E2 is at 24.29 pg/mL (Range: <15 - 31.5).

The Strategy Dilemma 😁:

@LevButlerov 🙏🏼suggested that I run a very low dose of Aromasin (Exemestane) from the start (5mg or 10mg split 2 times per week?). I’m definitely not trying to go against his advice, as I highly respect his experience, but I’m curious about the trade-offs and I think this discussion could be helpful for others in my position.

I’m torn between two approaches:

Option 1: Proactive (Start Now).

The benefit would be staying “ahead of the curve,” preventing massive water retention and blood pressure spikes / estradiol raising too much before they even start to do that.


Option 2: Reactive (Wait and See).

The benefit here is self-knowledge. By waiting until Week 4-5 to run bloods without an AI, I would learn exactly how my body aromatizes 500mg of Test.

My Questions:

1. Given my baseline E2 (24.29 pg/mL), do you think 5mg on Monday and 5mg on Thursday (10mg total) is enough to keep E2 in the high-normal range without crushing it? Or is 5mg total per week a better “micro-dose”?

2. For those who waited for bloods on their first cycle: was the “self-knowledge” worth the potential high E2 side effects (bloating, mood, etc.)?

3. When is the most accurate time for these bloods? Is Week 3 too early, or should I wait for the ester to reach steady state at Week 4-5?

I really want to maximize the anabolic benefits of having E2 on the higher side, but I don’t want it to spiral out of control 😅

yes for now its enough 5mgs 2x/week

its always a toss up you have to guess many times with bloods before you get them
