Evo diet. How many meals a day.

New member
Hello bros,
I am used to eat2-3 meals a day.
Does evo diet used with 1 or 2 or 3 meals a day?
Obviously keeping count of caloric intake and macro's as well
In few words...
If i set the macros at 70-25-5 and kcal 2000 as per my bmi.
For me is more easy to manage a diet with 1 or 2 meals per day.
So a part of the day should be in fasting status...

No bro maybe i expressed bad the words..
I meant...
If i do evo diet... I possible to follow the diet with just 1 or 2 or max 3 meals a day?
Obviously the total kcal intake will be the bmi or maybe less..

Studies show that as long as you get the requ i red nutrients in a day it doesn't matter if its one meal or several.

You can do a study on just about anything and by changing certain variables, make it come out how you want it. Bodybuilders for decades have been eating many, small sized meals throughout the day....and for good reason. Stop looking up junk articles on the internet. Eating small meals throughout the day keeps your insulin levels at a much more stable level, which keeps your metabolism going, which means you are expending more calories throughout the day and essentially burning more fat. (assuming you're eating correctly)

Lol...
It was simple: measure muscle mass while eating different number of meals per day.
But you are probably correct: the study was a conspiracy to discredit how some bodybuilders eat.
I myself only eat twice a day a few times a week due to my work schedule.
Havent lost any mass yet.

I don't believe it really matters how many meals you eat to get your macros each day. It may be beneficial to eat the 5 or 6 meals a day but the extra calories burned are probably minimal. I personally have always ate atleast 4 and up to 6 meals a day. It's just a preference as I don't like to eat huge meals often. I just feel the smaller meals keeps my stomach feeling tighter.

It does keep the stomach tighter. If you're constantly eating giant meals to the point where you can barely breathe you eventually stretch your stomach.

You're 100% Correct.
I've seen So Many Poorly Designed Studies.
With a Very Poorly Chosen Segment of the Population used in the Study.

They have done this Time and Time again.
Also I have seen the Process for Collecting the Data Skewed in Such a Way as make it Totally Useless.
And Definitely not Repeatable.

These Studies are Done with a Pre-Desired Outcome.
When you Start Out with a Specific Outcome in Mind, it's not Difficult to find your way there............................ JP

That's exactly why I try to stay away from articles written about studies that were done. You have no idea who the person is writing the article, how the study was done and the actual experience they have on the subject.

The Evolutionary diet is designed on the basis of ketogenic/anabolic diet minimums with a bodyopus-style refeed. As a result, when you're in a ketogenic state, meal frequency becomes mostly irrelevant due to ketones and FFA taking over as your main source of energy. In addition, ketones are protein sparing, and ketosis, in general, kills your appetite. There are studies linking high levels of ketones to high levels of leptin and low levels of ghrelin.

In terms of meal frequency, the topic is subjective at best. While there are studies showing bigger meals with less frequency lead to better fat loss, it doesn't mean you need to eat big meals if that's something you're uncomfortable with. If you want to succeed in your diet, follow the ratios and the diet theory, but, ultimately, feel what's right for you.

effective than six smaller meals in a reduced-energy regimen

I dont think so bro
If the diet is like a evo diet with 75%of fat is not hard to reach 2000kcal in one meal bro, even if having a big meal.
So is not necessary to feel full after just a meal.
Anyway my question is only becuase for me is hard to manage small meal trought the whole day

That is what i wanted to read.
I am used to do lunch and dinner, for me is more easy to manage diet in that manner, working out in a fasting state in the morning followed by a post workout with 5-10 of ratio by the carbs.
