It’s 18iu per vial and 5? Vials? I forget lol. I still have most of it. I think I paid under $900, but I had to buy it and wait a while for the back order

I've never heard that mentioned before in relation to coming off. Sounds interesting.
As you cycle down, you will feel a "high" like almost you're back on cycle but that's your body overcompensating. Don't think of it as a time to go balls to wall is what I meant :P

Ya normally I'd have something like sweet potato, carrots, beans, or broccoli in there but the fresh corn we get during the summer is so good and my wife loves it. She's the cook so I gotta eat what I'm served. I just make suggestions and hope for the best haha.

Yooooo that happened to me the one time I ran out of test. And I got so vascular and thin skinned it was kinda gross hahaha I wasn’t trying to do that. I remember thinking that was super weird that I came off and got extra horny and extra ripped, like wtf ?!

It's common and this is the period many will overtrain and spike cortisol :D

First night on GH last night and wow...what a difference. About 50 mins after I pinned I felt like a wave hit me when I was getting ready for bed. All of a sudden I was like man...I'm really tired, I gotta get to bed now. Then right out like a light. Amazing nights rest and today is my highest recovery score ever! I can't believe the effect 2 little IU's could have right away like this. You guys weren't kidding.

I know, that's always tough to know for sure. Just gotta trust the farmer. I guess they're as trustworthy as a supermarket at the end of the day.

Also, I took my vegan protein for the first time today. It is GROSS!!! Omg...so nasty. It's the same brand and flavour as my other protein but it tastes nothing like it lol. Vegan protein is for chugging..

That would be cool to hear you guys talk about. The post cycle "high", the mechanisms at work there. Stories about how people can get themselves into trouble cuz of it. I never even knew about this phenomenon til today when @LevButlerov warned me about it. Would be good to spread awareness.

yeah i know this well.. my first cycle my pct was not good and it sucked.
 
Haha maybe. I think we all assume eachother is younger than they are, atleast for us older guys. I was shocked when I heard @stevesmi is pushing 50, so I know what you mean.

Are you younger than me? You have a really mature muscle physique. You look like a guy who's been training steady for 20+ years.

Recovery numbers have started coming back to normal after those crazy peaks on the first 3 days of GH. Couldn't last forever. I still felt great yesterday. Put in a really hard day on the tools, 8k steps just at work, a lot of up and down ladders, big day. Then came home to a pretty decent training session. I was able to still push hard andnmake progression even tho I'm on my last taper week.

New macros have started up. Aiming for around 300-350g carbs, 100g fat, 300g carbs and I'll see how it goes. Ate low cal last night and woke up this morning looking super peeled for the first time in a while.

Sleep was dog shit last night. My nose got stuffed up and it was aggrivating me to where incouldn fall asleep. That coupled with the fact that I had to piss 5 times last night. No idea why, but it sucked. Hopefully tonight will be better.

It was only one night so it's hard to say. I think it was the congestion bugging me mostly. We'll see tonight. I'm pretty exhausted so I think I'll be good..hopefully.

I'm really curious to know what you were going to say if I said yes tho @LevButlerov

Yesterday was pretty tough. A little bit tired from work and sub-optimal sleep and the night before last. My numbers were a bit down but not terrible. I'm training as we speak and my numbers are back where they should be so thankfully I'm not in a total slump.

Eating has been good on my new macros. I am feeling a tad hungry, but I'll get used to it. I've been eating like a monster for 4 months so it makes sense.

Found a way to make my vegan protein palatable, just add some avocado oil and it's drinkable. I'm sure I'll get used to that too.

Pinned with an insulin syringe for the first time last night. Went pretty good. Think I'm gonna start warming the test in water to speed things up a bit. It wasn't as bad as every says timing wise. Barely even felt the pin. I'm liking it.

On the days you don't get good sleep you should cut the training and do just natural training but today you ok? @BeMe

You should go back to the high protein higher carb macros if it makes you feel better and you're still on sports TRT+ you'll grow.

You should always warm it up in like a small heating bath. Pin on top, do that to all gear.

I had that problem on my bloodwork with the low uric acid and my doc said it could be related to the high protein. He recommended a new supplement for that and my low copper as well.

Gonna run the slightly lower protein for now til next bloodwork and see how it goes. Bloodwork in 5-6 weeks. Next cycle is Tren so I wanna have perfect bloodwork leading into it so I have a good baseline to see how it works on me. Also so I have the best chance of tolerating it well.

Are you backloading the insulin pin or drawing with it? I felt like it took fooooorever to draw and reusing it after piercing the vial gave me a couple tough spots on my left glute, even to this day. Never tried backloading, I just use luer locks now

Thanks. Yea a lot of my exercises are named traditionally but have modifications that suit me better.

Just in that day for example

My dips are going way deeper than parallel. Basically to the point my nose can touch the mounting point.

My behind the back laterals are a cable cross with wrist cuffs.

The single arm pulls are actually dual handles but 1 arm at a time while maintaining lat activation on the iso arm.

I try to improve exercises for myself where possible and it keeps things fun too.
Watch that over time. While I'd encourage flexibility I'd watch extreme range under load causing issues as you age around the shoulder joint

that is true. i see some 25 year olds who look 60. and i see some 60 year olds who look 30.
My mom is 68 and she looks like my sister. Her aunt is 90 something and still has like, a straight back and flat stomach. Even her voice sounds like a young lady. She’s not even all the way grey. She was a red head. It’s weird hahaha. I have a bunch of family like this. Most of them, as long as they didn’t smoke. But growing up I had to watch so many super old family members that went from gardening and working, to barely functioning and it happens so fast, but then they just. Wouldn’t. Die. My great grandma tried taking up alcohol at around 95 years old, and she was hilarious and abusive and like 70 pounds. Didn’t work. She lived to within a week of turning 100
 
Got it, I should be able to make that happen.

My wife cooks for us and I eat what I'm served so I have minimal control over dinner. Protein up is easy, carbs down less so but doable.

I recently started using a dextrose supplement with my protein shakes post workout because I thought I needed more carbs and glycogen post workout on cycle.

I lowered my fat intake a bit per your previous suggestion. Sounds like that's lookn good now.

If this was still an issue I'd suggest thus
1) Meal prep and cook your own just eat with family
2) Don't eat all the carbs

LMAO!!! My wife really likes the weird stuff but I grew up full on Canadian so a lot of that crazy stuff is way off my radar. I will try anything once though and I've eaten my fair share of weird stuff.

But damn that vegan protein is like drinking chalk. Tastes weird but it's more the texture than anything. It's hard to describe.

Just found out we're recording Saturday morning. The boys were really cool about accommodating my schedule cuz I'm so busy with work. No idea when it's coming out though, I'm just along for the ride on this one.

I got the Asian genes so I look a lot younger then I am. It's funny at work cuz people expect an old guy electrical contractor to come in and they see me and they get confused thinking I'm an apprentice or something.
 
My mom is 68 and she looks like my sister. Her aunt is 90 something and still has like, a straight back and flat stomach. Even her voice sounds like a young lady. She’s not even all the way grey. She was a red head. It’s weird hahaha. I have a bunch of family like this. Most of them, as long as they didn’t smoke. But growing up I had to watch so many super old family members that went from gardening and working, to barely functioning and it happens so fast, but then they just. Wouldn’t. Die. My great grandma tried taking up alcohol at around 95 years old, and she was hilarious and abusive and like 70 pounds. Didn’t work. She lived to within a week of turning 100

Ya it's difficult because when you do a labour job that changes day to day I have no idea what my work output will be like. I also don't like taking training days off...feels like weakness creeping in when you let that happen.

Great point. I got the really expensive pure cold pressed avocado oil. I'm only adding 1 tbsp to the shake. Helps eliminate the super chalky texture of the vegan stuff. Hopefully next bloodwork my uric acid is back up and I can stop this vegan stuff lol

I think they strike a really good balance on the show and play off eachother really well. @Mobster has brings then funny, tons of life experiences, and old school hardcore mentality and then @stevesmi has great stories combined with a wealth of scientific info. They really make the perfect pairing cuz on their own the show wouldn't be nearly as good.

Man I think it’s going to make it worse. High uric acid comes from red meat and sweets at the same time. This was a whole thing with carnivores who had gout. I mean, I’ve never had it, I could be wrong, but I’ve heard this so much. Beer, red meat, sweets. Like steak and beer is the big bad two. I dated a naturopathic doctor for years. That's literally what I thought after last night when the initial excitement settled down and it started ti sink in.

Ya my doctor explained it has something to do with your protein being really high causes your minerals to get depleted trying to process the proteing and you pee out the uric acid, which leads to the low reading.

I eat a decent amount of beef but I'd say 50% of my protein comes from chicken. Beef is maybe 10-15%, then pork, fish, seafood, whey.

I've found as long as the vial cap things aren't that really hard rubber one the pins stay pretty sharp.

Didnt want to risk wasting anymore pins or gear trying to learn to backfill lol. From what you're saying I'm glad I didn't.

Very exciting news, going on the podcast tomorrow morning. Already prepping and have a schedule in mind for the morning to make sure I'm sharp and do a good job. Even tapping in the big bro @Noah Wixx to help show me the way once again. Hopefully I don't let you guys down.

Training was very much back on track last night, which was very relieving. I was worried I was experiencing a big post cycle slump when my recovery and training numbers dipped, but I'm back going strong again.

The GH has my sleep on point again the last 2 nights as well, so no signs of that letting up either.

Nothing but good news to report today. I love days like this.

Training was very much back on track last night, which was very relieving. I was worried I was experiencing a big post cycle slump when my recovery and training numbers dipped, but I'm back going strong again.

Im from the Midwest alot of people sound Canadian so its normal to me lol, plus my coach is from Canada i cant talk shit lol

I'm for Toronto so my accent isn't too bad. Most city people don't really have much of an accent. But I've noticed when I start talking about hockey or the outdoors suddenly I have a hardcore accent lol. I'll avoid those topics haha
