Orange kitty is Maya. My husband was “ not a cat person” till he found this 2 week old feral the mama cat left behind. Next thing i know he’s bottle feeding her and taking her to the vet and reading cat care books. Ten years later they remain completely inseparable.

Victoria the Tortie cat is mine. Rescued from roaming the hood by a coworker, we have the same personalities. We’re both Fat lazy love to eat, fussy moody and we purr and lick you if you pet us.

Both kitties live in the lap of luxury with the finest food and health care their hooman slaves can afford.

Looks really nice. The more time you spend with nature the more you really see the crazy intelligence and instinct and how they communicate.

we lived in the Sierra mountains near Tahoe for five years and I’d sit watch and listen to the birds squirrels etc turns they have an entire civilization going on together. They all talk to each other. Someone told me that the bird species understand each others languages. I dknt n kw if that’s true but it sees they did. The squirrels have a society.
the mountain lions hide. The bears turn over every garbage can in trash day. And the deer just get run over. One stretch of highway was just bloody. They just never learned how to cross the street.

Yes Bros i actually concerned about weight. She was always thin. When hubby moved in years ago and brought the dog and the other cat This one started eating more. I think to make sure she fit her share.

Also I only gave her west food twice a day No dry food grazing But the orange kitty ( his) eat Seay and they both graze all day. There’s no way to keep them and the food separate and this eats and sleeps all day. They are not allowed outdoors ( we live in a urban area abd uts not safe Bad people to bad things to cats..
So I’m not sure what to do but the needs to be on a Bro cut for sure lol

i was watching MSNBC on a lazy sunday and they had one of those prison shows. what was cool is that some places have programs where they let the inmates have cats that are going to be put down at kill shelters.

i will tell you it was very fascinating how the inmates treated the cats like their babies and the cats loved them back. the ironic thing is society has thrown away both of them away and they found each other. these guys were carrying their cats around the prison and treating them like their babies. it was pretty cool stuff. plus its good cause it gives them purpose in life, now they have something to care for and can learn about responsiblity and such. more places should do that, its a win/win for everybody especially the cats

Yes BroBros I have seen this too. It says a lot about multiple issues societal and humanitarian.

People are much like computer programs “garbage in garage out” when it comes to peoples foundations and how they are treated.

Same with animals. You can’t abuse a dog for a year then act surprised when it bites you and then turn around and euthanize it for being “ bad”

And no matter how bad a thing is it can usually (of course not always but often) be repaired with large enough doses of those items like love/ forgiveness/empathy/ etc etc all the things that are often preached and rarely practiced. ( why I’m an atheist)

This applies to most of the major problems in the world.

And of course how we treat animals old people disabled etc blatantly says everything about who we are in the societies we create.

Mayas sweet but weird. That’s hubby’s cat he found, feral, two weeks old. Mama cat moved all the kittens but left her behind. And once “I don’t like cats” hubby found her I never heard “ I don’t like cats” again. But she wasnt raised with cats she was raised by him and the chihuahua so her behavior is like “cat+” she’s a little dingy. She doesn’t Exaclty “chase” the red dot but runs from it. And she does “scary cat” and “puffy tail” a lot for no apparent reason. She did not get the full set of cat instructions
