magnesium deficiency

I have always taken a Magnesium Supp.
The Benefits far out way any Side Effects.
And about the only Side Effect of Too much is Diarrhea........................................... JP
P.S.
Which if you suffer from Constipation, you can get relief without the Cramping of a Stool Softener.

Love supp mag and d together makes me feel great. Get all my vitamins from pureprescriptions.com don't think I'll ever get a vitamin else where.

I have used Pure Encapsulations products many times...................................... JP

I've never supplemented extra other than what is in N2guard. I've considered it, though I'm not exactly sure how much is recommended. I certainly don't want diarrhea. Lol

N2Guard is such a solid option... Especially for those that are unfamiliar with daily requirements of supplementation. Takes out all of the guess work.

What is magnesium?
-Magnesium is a naturally occurring mineral. It is important for many systems in the body, especially the muscles and nerves.
-Symptoms of poor magnesium intake can include muscle cramps, facial tics, poor sleep, and chronic pain.
-Most dark colored sodas contain phosphates. These substances actually bind with magnesium inside the digestive tract, rendering it unavailable to the body.
-Refined sugar is not only a zero magnesium product but it also causes the body to excrete magnesium through the kidneys
-Stress can be a cause of magnesium deficiency, and a lack of magnesium tends to magnify the stress reaction, worsening the problem.
-Magnesium levels are controlled in the body in large part by the kidneys, which filter and excrete excess magnesium and other minerals. But caffeine causes the kidneys to release extra magnesium regardless of body status.
-The effect of alcohol on magnesium levels is similar to the effect of diuretics: it lowers magnesium
-Studies have shown that when magnesium intake is low, calcium supplementation may reduce magnesium absorption and retention.12 13 14 And, whereas calcium supplementation can have negative effects on magnesium levels, magnesium supplementation actually improves the body’s use of calcium.
-Patients showed rapid recovery (less than 7 days) from major depression using 125-300 mg of magnesium (as glycinate and taurinate) with each meal and at bedtime. Also helps with anxiety and difficulty sleeping

Foods High In magnesium:
fish
avacado
soybeans
nuts seeds
dark leafy greens (kale, spinach)
bananas
dark chocolate
low fat yogurt

I was LMAO reading, "I certainly don't want diarrhea".
In that case Rick, go with the Chelated Magnesium or it's sometimes called "Elemental" or "Glycinate/Lysinate Chelate".
It's a High Absorption version because of the Chelation (or bound to an Amino Acid), so it gets absorbed in the Intestines like any other Protein.
It comes in 200 Mg., so taking it twice a day with Food will be Sufficient, and you won't get Diarrhea...................... JP
P.S.
But remember, if you ever get Constipated, this is very convenient way of relieving it, without Cramping (lol).

too much will cause really bad # 2 issues lol i have seen people take drink samples too far and really pay the price lol i believe the product was calm
