Sure thing man. Wasn’t sure if that kinda thing was frowned upon here or not.
Today is actually day 4 of fasting so I’ve pushed past 72 hours. Had a friend invite me to lunch for some home made soup so I’m planning to have that for lunch and then some of the canned soup I have for dinner and then it’s back to OMAD carnivore.

Thanks man, EVO family is turning out to truly be an amazing and accepting group of folks. In todays world, I try to be polite and careful with sharing pictures of my hunts or discussing firearms ownership because some people get upset by these issues unfortunately. Seem like I have certainly found a good place here on Evo!

I am a fisherman and nothing pisses me off more then assholes who treat our outdoors like a joke. if you are respectful and use every ounce of food properly then good. its the people who kill things for nothing and waste them when people are out there going hungry which are frowned upon. what i don't eat i throw back, give away to people who need it, and i always give scraps to stray cats. not an ounce is wasted

I do a lot of fasting but when I do eat I post pictures of the food before I cook it usually. I’m pretty much on carnivore diet full time but I almost became a chef as a profession and I love cooking. When I make something for the family I’ll post pics. Lots of good food down here in Cajun country

That’s awesome man. I never got into bow hunting but I wouldn’t call gun hunting “cheating” props for putting in the work that it takes to harvest deer with a bow. My main passion is waterfowl hunting. Let me know when you can hit a teal on the wing with a bow and I’ll be impressed.

We agree on this 100% @stevesmi! I all of the edible meat and organs from all of the animals I harvest. I strive to make ethical kills, release females with eggs when I can and always adhere to all hunting laws and regs in the area I’m hunting. Even when I go to Texas to hunt hogs at night to help farmers not have their crops and fiefs destroyed by a nuicesne, non native animal that’s out of control, we take the ones we want and donate the rest to hunters for the homeless. I also give away meat and fish to friends and family all the time. I have a hunting camp out in the middle of the Atchafalaya Basin and every once in a while someone goes through the area and kills a bunch of alligators apparently just for fun. It enrages me and I’ve called wildlife and fisheries several times but if I catch them in the act,well……the swamps of then Atchafalaya basin are a large and dangerous place. People go missing out there every year.

All of my scraps that are inedible go into the compost pile and are used to grow vegetables.
 
I never ate deer before
I heard it's a very delicious type of red meat but other people have said they hate it
When handled properly after the anima is killed and then cooked properly, it’s some of the most delicious meat available. I love whitetail deer meat. The only thing that is better in my opinion is Axis deer or Elk.

Day one post 84 hour fast.
Weight 224
Had refeed around lunch yesterday with vegetable soup and intended to have some more for dinner but wound up skipping it. Was busy getting the monster and I ready to start the week.
Back to OMAD for 4 days now, planning on sirloin for dinner tonight.
@ElDurko 83 hour fast, perfect
so what was your weight at start of the fast and weight in the end of the fast? clarify please

30-45min stretching routine noticing some good progress with my flexibility and ability to hold stretches for longer periods.
3 sets planks for as long as I could hold them
3 sets 17 pushups
3 sets 30 crunches
3 sets 10 leg raises
3 sets dumbbell press to failure
3 sets chest fly with resistance bands
3 sets incline dumbbell press to failure.
Shoulders are feeling better and much less painful than they have in a while.

Shoulders are feeling better and much less painful than they have in a while.

Nice meat looks great. Keep up the works outs, it seems as though things are paying off for you which is a big help to the ego

Today sucked ass bro. I think I pulled something in my groin last night. I hobbled around work all day and it hurts like hell. I was annoyed and didnt even eat last night, just made dinner for my son and went to bed. Have a ribeye thawing out now and am about to go out in the shop and do what I can. Not sure how the stretching will go but I’m gonna do my planks and push-ups and try to hit a tricep workout.

It’s 7:45 my time and I am just getting dinner for my son and I have to eat then get us both cleaned up and hopefully in bed before 9. The alarm goes off at 4 am. I stretched but took it easy in that regard and it seems to have alleviated some of the pain. My left side is feeling better than it has all day. Will post workout routine with meal pics as soon as I finish cooking my food. I guess if it’s worse in the morning or unimproved I should take some time off. I’ll try to update you early in the am as to how I’m feeling.

Left leg/groin area is definitely not 100% but I’d say it feels at least 50% better than it did yesterday morning. No tabbing pains when I put move my leg, just a dull ache.
No training minimum 2 days and let’s switch OMAD to 16/8 for 2 days
Minimum 2 meals in the 8 hours please

Ok, I can do that. So no training till Sunday. Leg is certainly better but still nagging at me. It’s certainly making work interesting. Will stop at the store on my way home and get some bone broth. If I had time I’d have saved the bones from that deer I just shot and made my own.

Used to it and it works for me. I have had no problems managing my life that way, and with my hectic schedule it’s really a lot easier for me.

Sorry for the lack of posts over the weekend, the monster threw my phone in the toilet while I was showering. They joys of parenting are unending,especially when you’re doing it alone.
Friday. I had soup for lunch and dinner with some bone broth added.
Saturday was smoked brisket for lunch and a steak for dinner. Had to work from 5am till 2 pm Saturday and then spent the evening with a friend watching movies and entertaining the monster.
Sunday had bacon and eggs for lunch and then had to help another friend assemble the most annoying pre-fab metal shed ever created. His wife made chciken stew for us while we were working but I was still so full from breakfast that I didn’t eat dinner. Monster passed out on the way home and slept through the night so I went to bed early as well. Leg feeling much better although still not at 100% but this morning I’d say the overall is 75-80% out of 100 on how it feels vs normal.

Yesterday was a shit show.
Got a call from the same friend I was helping with the shed. Missed the first call and when I called back, his girl answered the phone. She wanted to know if he had taken anything at work (we work for the same company) and are both recovering addicts. He is also a type 1 diabetic but instead of acting like an adult and checking his sugar levels and using insulin properly, he just kinda wings it. When she described the symptoms I knew it wa slow blood sugar and instructed her to get some sweets in him asap as I’ve seen him do this before when he lived with me for a time. She said he was being combative and I could hear him in the background saying things he’d never say to her so I jumped in the car and went over there as it’s just a few miles to their house. We would up calling EMS and they said his blood glucose was 20 when they took it so I spent my evening
 
Yeah, he’s only two years old so he’s a little young to really understand the gravity of the situation. We definitely had a serious discussion about throwing ANYTHING in the toilet.
