Don't worry I don't feel that way either when people comment on my log about how I look, staying humble and grounded is always the right approach, it will make you work harder and stay hungry.

Hey guys,
Work is really getting in the way this week. I’m away and doing 14hr days.
One positive is I’m busting my arse for 13 hrs a day so that should help in some way plus I have got some 15kg dumbbells with me.

Ok, just had a very bed week away with work.
Big hours with erratic meal times that was usually take away. Tried my best to make healthy choices, ie Asian stir fry, sushi etc but I definitely burnt more calories than I put in.
Anyway back home now with my own gym.
I’ll post a photo tonight after training.

Along with many things I am not very good at downloading. I have a bad habit of continuing to push for weeks and weeks until fatigue sets in.
Last week due to working away I was forced to do what I could with 15 kg dumbbells and body weight. Effectively a forced download. Not ideal for week four of a cycle …..
BUT , tonight back in my gym I just smashed out
Bench 4 x 10 x 100kg
DB inc 3 x 10 x 30 kg
Seat Row 3 x 10 x 77kg cable machine
Lat Pull 3 x 10 x 77kg cable machine
EZY Curl 4 x 15 x 30 kg
Tri ex 3 x 15 x 35kg
Db shrug 3 x 15 x 40kg

And I feel great.
Obviously RandDPharma have a big part to do with that and a big thanks to them.

Just to clarify, when I say downloading, I mean reducing weight between workout cycles. Not downloading computer shit….. although I also suck at that. 😂😂🤣

What I do, which MIGHT help, is set a specific target. Hit it (hopefully) then back off. There's always been another time for another go and to be able to push further.

I’ve got a pretty good home set up, but it’s no commercial gym. So workouts are simple.
I’ve always been more into power lifting with aesthetics coming second to strength but I’m now trying to get more volume vrs weight. Turns out vanity wins in the end. Got to look like I can still bench 150kg, even though I can’t anymore ( yet ).

I had to learn that very lesson you just taught once I did my entire life inside the gym changed drastically in a positive fashion.

I’ve posted my Saturday and Sunday workouts. They are usually my Monday and Tuesday workouts but unfortunately once again I’ll be away from my gym for the week due to work.
Anyway, I tried to increase volume as per your advice, sometimes that meant I had to drop the weight back a bit but I definitely felt more busted after.
Appreciate you taking the time to offer advice.
 
Tonight’s workout

Close grip bench 4 x 10 x 90kg

SA Row 3 x 10 x 35kg each arm

Flat DB press 3 x 10 x 35kg

Cable fly 3 x 15 x 18kg

Tri ext 3 x 12 x 36kg

Hard work and @RofRandD is paying off

Quick update
On the road again with work. Not able to do a gym workout but I’m busting my arse at work plus got the 15 kg dumbbells with me again.
Meals are mine camp food. Pretty good and lots of it. I’ll post a pic tonight

Push ups 3 x 50
Dips 3 x 50
Lunges with 15kg dumbbells 3 x 20 each leg
Tri ext 3 x 20 x 15 kg

Then whatever else I have time and energy for.

Trained at home Saturday and Sunday ( usually rest day) anticipating having to do modified workouts. But there was amazingly a gym on this site so I did day 3 on Monday and day 4 on Tuesday. Rest day today while I travelled home and back at home gym tomorrow. I’ll actually finish the week with two extra gym sessions under my belt. Which is good cause this gear from @RofRandD is really kicking in.
Food has all been mine camp food and a lot of it.

the bench needs work, you're doing too many sets 6, i would drop to 4 sets but 2 x 15 and 2x6 on the drop set
any cardio?
