Hi Gents,

Age: 27
Height: 182cm
Weight: 99 kg
Bodyfat %- 18

Recently underwent a surgery to the distal bicep tendon when it ruptured off my bone. I have opted to use TB500 and BPC 157 to help speed up the healing process and get back into training as soon as possible. Im also during this time experimenting with Reta. All compounds have been purchased from Livewell.

Currently protocol:

TB 500 - 2x 5mg ( Monday and Thursday)
BPC 157 - 700mcg daily (350mcg x twice daily) - im also experiencing elbow pain on non operated arm and injection that locally at 350mcg daily.
Reta- 1mg/ weekly first 4 weeks then titrate depending on how i feel/results

Day 1 - 4 days post op.

Morning injection 7am

- Reta - 1mg
- BPC - 350mcg
- TB - 5mg

Night injection 10pm
-BPC - 350mcg on each arm

Training:
Cant do much at the moment as i have to be in a sling however i completed 20 mins of cycling (indoor bike) and 15 mins of walking at 5kms/ 9incline.

Diet:
Protein : 187g
Fats: 49g
Carbs: 90g

Sleep: 7 hours

Day 2:

Morning injections:
1x 350mcg BPC to injured arm.

Sleep: 7 hours

Woke up today somewhat refreshed with a bit of pain to the operative arm. During this period i have decided to intermittent fast until 1pm.
Had my morning coffee and off to work i went, around 11 i started to feel what i thought were muscle twitching in my chest area, didnt think much of it at first however as it was continuing to twitch i placed my hand over my chest and felt heart palpitations like ive never experienced before. This was a bit of a concern and decided to sit down and observe for the next 30 mins- during this time as i was sitting down my heart rate went up to 150bpm which was really concerning to which the palpitations we’re going crazy. I decided to go to the ER just to rule out any health concerns- after hours of waiting around and multi blood tests, ECGs and xrays done the doctors concluded that my heart itself is fine and health and the reason this has happened is due to inflammation around the heart.
I also believe my electrolytes were low and as soon as i had coconut water and an electrolyte drink i did feel a little better for a short while however on my blood the electrolyte panel was well within range.

Has anyone else experienced anything like this? Did i overdose yesterday or did i do too many peptides at once? Please help.

Its currently 9:40pm and im still experiencing mild palpitations however nothing as before. Should i do my nightly injection of BPC?

@AJF bro you looking good on this. 18% body fat okay. you gonna lose it fast

I have had heart palpitations before. Bad ones. Very scary. It shouldn’t be coming from the bpc. You’ve got something going on, and that coffee on an empty stomach set you off. Caffeine is really a dangerous substance and it’s not good for you, although obviously it can be tolerated when everything else is ok. If you can’t get by without some kind of caffeine (like me) I highly recommend matcha. It isn’t as satisfying as coffee, but you’re very unlikely to have such effects, and it will prevent withdrawal headaches for the most part.

@AJF Injuries always suck. But also things in life will happen when I went through my divorce and lost my children, I thought it was the end of my life, so make sure you keep the grind going. You will come back stronger.

Day 3- Wednesday.

Total calories- 1767
protein- 188g
carbs- 129g
fats - 49g

Total calories lost - 3345
Steps - 20,382
Sleep- 6:30 hours

Forgot to take photos of foods.

Workout- 20mins bike ride at high intensity and 20 minutes treadmill walk 5.5kms at 9 incline. Next week going to start weight training again, been reading alot online how if you train the un injured side close to failure you are able to reduce strength loss and atrophy on the injured site, we will give it a go.

Heart palpitations still evident but nothing like the other day, more manageable. Consumed a lot of water as well as electrolytes which i believe helped with it.

I feel like the reta hasn’t fully suppressed my appetite however im more conscious of what i put in my body, i usually need a sweet after meals such as protein bars/ fruits etc however that is no longer needed, can comfortably reach my target protein intake which is important to retain as much muscle as possible.

Other arm does feel a little better, nothing drastic but feel like the pain is being reduced and we’re going to keep experimenting with it.

Daily vitamins/ supplements:

- creatine
- b12
- dh3 omega
- probiotic
- digestive enzymes post every meal
- fibre
- magnesium

Surgical arm still has pain, i cant stand still so im trying to use it as much as possible without causing any harm/ additional injury to it.

Have noticed my eyes twitch yesterday all the way up to bed time, assuming this has something to do with the palpitations. Nothing major however noticeable.

@AJF can you please post a picture of you face blurred, we need to understand and see your base.

Day 4- Thursday

Total calories- 1753
Protein- 204g
Fats- 46g
Carbs- 119g

Sleep: 7 hours
Total calories burned today: 2708
Steps: 14,343

Protocol:
Morning : 350mcg BPC into surgical arm

Evening before bed: 350mcg x 2 (both arms)

Total water intake- 4L including 3x electrolytes mix

Didnt train today as had alot on with work and family- will most likely have a morning and evening session tomorrow to make up.

Not sure how i feel about these peptides- eye has continued twitching all day and i still do feel slight palpitations and tightness around the chest. This is my first time supplementing with any injection and my experience so far has not been similar to some of the people on this forum. Not sure if to stop it completely or just power through and see how it goes. Any advise from experienced peptide users is welcome here.

@AJF 16 hour fast is a good start, now try to push to 20 hour fast.

Are you adding sodium to the electrolytes mix? add 1/4 tsp pink salt and 1/4 tsp of baking soda

Get some walnuts in as well for omega 3 fats.

Thinking of splitting reta into 2 doses of .5mg monday and Thursday to see if it has any difference in side effects. Also thinking of reducing my dose of tb to 5mg weekly split into 2 doses - maybe i jumped into a big dose too soon and my body didnt know how to react
@AJF retatrutide is best with microdosing, we discussed retratrutide microdosing in this thread. Try 0.25mgs ED instead.

For tb500, start using 1mg eod instead of 5mgs/week, slow dose the max doses.

Health:
Overall feeling much better today than rest of the day this week, had less sleep and woke up a little less energetic than usual however we still stayed on track. Heart palpitations have subsided which feels amazing however the right eye still twitches from time to time, day and night difference to the previous days. Had enough energy to get a zone 2 HR workout this morning accompanied with an intense workout after work. The non surgical arm does feel much better than before, certain twist that caused pain, now dont. Not sure if placebo of if the TB & BPC are working their magic. Surgical arm also does feel a little better however plenty of work ahead with if.
Commencing next week i will be micro dosing EOD RETA & TB and will update if the side effects are still as prominent as this week. Overall 1mg of RETA has not completely disappeared my appetite and some discipline still has to come in play, not sure if its still early or whatnot but not complaining as i can still hit my protein goals. Next week i will also start resistance training with the use of the non surgical arm - reading online that training unilaterally can regain strength and atrophy to the affected arm/side so we will try our best to maintain what we have. Overall feeling good today and hopefully this continues into the coming weeks.

@AJF 16 hour fast is a good start, now try to push to 20 hour fast.

Are you adding sodium to the electrolytes mix? add 1/4 tsp pink salt and 1/4 tsp of baking soda

That is strange ive never had a peptide do that to me with the sides you are describing? Did it come from a source you can trust ?

as im new to this scene , i found the source on this forum and from what i read from other members he was well valued and rated- he even showed the test results of the compounds. Im guessing hes legit but same time not sure as i dont know what to make of the side effects. Ill microdose this week and see how i feel.

Feeling overall good today, very slight twitching and no palpitations at all today however after lunch and dinner i was very bloated with discomfort even tho i took digestive enzymes after the meals. This went away after an hour and a bit so not a big issue. The appetite suppression was not at all evident today, was constantly feeling hungry. The morning was good however as soon as i broke my fast with a meal and in between lunch and dinner i was feeling slight hunger which i didnt feel any other day. Maybe due to the half life of reta?

I honestly think its from reta
That definitely could be, glp1 drugs have a whole host of sides associated with them. Id lower dose see if it still happens, process of elimination

@AJF those withings scales are expensive. do they actually work to accurately measure body fat? i am skeptical that its possible
Done alot of research before purchasing and the reviews i pushed me to invest into it. Im guessing its not 100% accurate compared to a dexa scan however its convenient and gets you a rough understanding at where you’re sitting

Hi Gents,

Apologies for the lack of logs this weeks, been travelling interstate for work and didnt get a chance to jump on here this week. Finally back home and can update how things have been.

As of Monday i began resistance training and currently running PPL. All my upper body exercises have been unilateral as i cant yet load my operated arm. Strength has definitely taken its toll during this recovery/off period and the stamina is not where it used to be however with the right rehab and program we’ll get back where we were so not that disheartening.

Calories this week were between 1500-1800 daily and didnt exceed 1800.

Water intake was also high daily- roughly 3-4 L a day

I also began microdosing as of Monday and i couldnt thank the lads here enough for that recommendation. The side effects i was experiencing in week 1 have completely disappeared and no longer experiencing the palpitations or eye twitches. The only negative aspect is daily pinning but we can live with that if it means the heart doesnt go crazy.

Current protocall is:

BPC - 350mcg x 1 - AM 350mcg x2 - PM
TB- 1.25mg EOD
RETA- 145mcg ED

Both my arms are feeling much better and can confirm its not placebo. The operated arm has gained more range of motion since last week and showing good signs. The other arm does feel alot better aswell however a little nugging pain is still evident depending on how i move it. Keen to see how the rest of the 10 weeks goes and hopefully i could get back into training normally in the next 3 months.

Weight in day is tomorrow morning so ill update then the results of the week.

yeah dexa scans too can be wrong based on human error or if they don't calibrate them properly. i think best way is just visualization

Welcome back, EVO family missed you. :D @AJF

reading this again, how much bone broth are you drinking per day? how much collagen?

Currently no bone broth or collagen, ive bought some bone broth however haven’t had time to cook it up yet
Start eating daily bone broth and collagen mix. If you have bone broth you need to cook, just buy the dry powder. @AJF

Weight in today.

97.2kg
Bodyfat- 17.5%

Visual appearance- definitely looking leaner in the mirror, can notice more seperation in the muscle fibres especially the shoulders and triceps. Mid section has slightly reduced however still long way to go. Face has chiseled up nicely.
Any pic updates for this please? @AJF
