It's the opposite.

Magnesium citrate can lead to a laxative dependency, where the bowel becomes reliant on the laxative to have a bowel movement.

Overuse of magnesium citrate can cause the bowel to lose its natural ability to clear stools on its own.

Yeah, some people definitely have those issues. Try lowering the dose. Usually after a few weeks though, that issue seems to go away. Also watch what you eat. @eazy_

Ah nice! So you went into "The Rock" mode and piled the pancakes high. With your size and muscle mass a high carb refeed is totally called for to maintain the strength you have. The egg whites are a nice tough I scramble up 500g at a time for breakfast some days (one small size carton I just pour it all in).
