Steroid mental effects ๐Ÿ˜ˆ ?

Iโ€™m curious how many people use steroids for mental benefits ๐Ÿฆ?

-What do you use?

-How does it make you feel?

-How has it impacted your life?

For example:
Do you earn more money?
Do you get more attention from women?
Have you been more productive with how you use your time?

Happy New Year, everyone!
This is going to be your year :)๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿฅ‡

Okay, wow. Would you say that your quality of life has just gotten worse? Is the only real benefit you get from steroids just better workouts and bigger muscles?
No. Why would it get worse?

Think.

Most users of PEDs have disposable income - perhaps all. We're not mugging grannies to get high. Ergo we have spare cash.

Almost no 'regular' job pays more etc due to me having a 20-inch arm. Heck, I was rewarded in my last job due to additional work I did on the companies internal magazine. Similar to me replying to you here.

Think about how confidence works too? Should it be tied up in arm size as such? No. The reality, as many find out, your MORE likely to have gym bros big you up than a woman cos you're big. We do it for OURSELVES. 100% I like being big and strong. At best being so is a conversation starter. It also means, as I've competed and travelled to do so (and the women could look me up) I'm capable of being talked about.

The women thing can and often is strange. Example: super attractive blond on another team only looking at me a certain way once I'd been pulled by the female manager of my team (lived with that one for a bit). I'd be elevated in her eyes and was now under consideration. Too late bitch ha ha

Iโ€™m curious how many people use steroids for mental benefits ๐Ÿฆ?

-What do you use?
Test for TRT. Latest cycles have been Test, Tren, Mast.
-How does it make you feel?
Luckily I've responded good to the gear I've used. No real bad sides.
-How has it impacted your life?
For example:
Do you earn more money?
No. I would say I waste a lot less money though. Eating better, basically have quit drinking alcohol and just a healthier lifestyle overall. Which i place a very high value on.
Do you get more attention from women?
Yes.
Have you been more productive with how you use your time?
Yes for what my goals are with my physical conditioning.
Happy New Year, everyone!
This is going to be your year :)๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿฅ‡

Iโ€™m curious how many people use steroids for mental benefits ๐Ÿฆ?
For the sole benefit of mental, no.
-What do you use?
I'm about to post my 2026 in an hour or so
-How does it make you feel?
More confident and about as capable as I was 20 years ago. I'm almost 50 now.
-How has it impacted your life?
In every way in a positive way
Do you earn more money?
I earn less money because I spend a lot on peptides and gear
Do you get more attention from women?
Yes
Have you been more productive with how you use your time?
Yes. Having to make time for the gym and meal prep has made me prioritize what's important and I do less bullshitting around or grabassing with people.

Thanks for your reply :) Okay, my point wasnโ€™t that anyone would pay you more because of a big bicep.
Iโ€™m more wondering if people sometimes get a kind of drive or ambition after starting steroids.โ€”so much that they might start a business, wake up earlier than others to work on it, or put in extra hours after their regular job.

Iโ€™ve heard claims and read a few studies suggesting that high testosterone is linked to higher income, driven by increased motivation and ambition.
When I first felt the effects of testosterone (at a small dose),

I kind of understood why that might be the case ๐Ÿค”

To sum it up in a nutshell, testosterone helps effort 'feel good', so I can see that study having had some merit.

Yeah. I usually struggle a lot with starting things, and Iโ€™m currently going through ADHD assessments, which will probably take at least another year (and itโ€™s quite likely I have it).
For the first time, I actually felt a real drive to do things โ€” everything felt easier, more engaging, and less overwhelming. Itโ€™s a shame that I had to hop off for a while because of the blood pressure issues.

I bet gear is a life-changer around 50 years old ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป

I can speak to that a bit, as well
As being around 50 myself with more aggressive sauce use in my mid to late 20's and someone with Dx'd ADHD at 25yo.

Gear helps a bit, but if you're talking motivation to get way out of your comfort zone- I don't think adhd meds or gear is a cure for getting motivated to and staying motivated, like for starting a business or to consistently work harder, it lets you do more by improving energy and recovery, and in the short term that can help keep you motivated.

Eventually you get used to whatever you're using and will want more. This is a dark path.

For me ADHD is mostly moving too quickly, forgetting important but not urgent things, like I gave up on keeping a wallet at 17 because I would just lose it - so fuck it! Also had extreme tendancies and still do - just really extreme thrill seeking behavior, broken bones, crashing cars, and laughing my ass off about all of it. Still wanted to go bugger, faster, thats when I really felt alive. Slow me down and I's lose the plot. Focus on something basic turned to boredom, and knowing I had to do some easy boring shit was when procrastination would become a problem.

Long term motivation is what you're talking about. Thats different. Thats where you need a why so big it puts tears in your eyes when you think about it.

For example, I graduated college years later after getting a GED, without ADHD meds and I successfully coached myself to be a high level athlete earning thousands of dollars a year (joke/semi-pro I guess), and I never procrastinated at those tasks because they were meaningful. Racing as a pro was a childhood dream. Getting a college degree would ensure a better life for my wife -who we married young by todays standards, and I would do anything to provide for.

I believe in using drugs as tools, but they will never be the engineer of how those tools are applied. Thats you're "why" and you have to really develop that before anything else makes sense.

Just my dumb opinion.

I'll chime is as well.
Test helped my mental got me feeling better etc but that's only because I was missing the correct Testosterone level.
The other steroids like tren and deca make me feel worse.
I briefly touch on it in my evo podcast.

Iโ€™ve heard several people say that 250mg of test is basically a cheat code for life.

By my little experience, it actually feels more like a tool, just like you said. And you can choose whether or not to actually do anything with that tool

Itโ€™s probably an even more powerful tool if your body really needs it.

Makes sense to think that if effort feels good, youโ€™ll keep putting in that effort โœ…

So everything I post in the forum should be posted in the log?
That sounds like something a Karen chick would say back to me. No, not "everything", but this yes.

This is specifically starting to become about your blood pressure and your test usage and having had to stop it, which is what is at the end of your log currently. Why start a new thread about exactly what we're discussing in your log at the moment?

It wasn't a dig at you it's just important on-topic information and updates regarding what your log is all about @Edustaja555 so anyone following your log will miss out on how you're feeling today and what your thought process is.

Thanks brother. I can feel you're wanting to reach out and these are great questions related to your goals and current struggles so it's perfect for your log. Don't feel pressured to update it daily but anything related to it helps us keep track of where you're at both physically and mentally.

I'd like to get bloodwork done for you and see if we can find a dose of T that will work for you along with possible BP intervention if need be.

Yeah, letโ€™s fucking go! Iโ€™ll organize the blood test as soon as possible. Iโ€™ll make a post tomorrow about the blood tests in the LOG Iโ€™m going to get and hope the community will correct/edit the list if Iโ€™m missing anything ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป

-What do you use?
Test 250mg
Eq 200mg
Anavar 10mg preworkout

-How does it make you feel?
Physically awesome
Mentally, not much different. Maybe slightly more competitive, but thatโ€™s probably in my head.

-How has it impacted your life?
Not really at all.

For example:
Do you earn more money?

lol no, bro wtf?

Yeah dude the second the needle entered my ass, all the corporate ceos wanted me on their board to talk about โ€œhustle cultureโ€ because I can bench more.

Do you get more attention from women?

the only people who appreciate a good physique on a guy is other dudes.

Want to impress a woman? Learn to cook and hold a conversation.

Have you been more productive with how you use your time?

nah, less

I now spend too much time talking to random people on the internet, trying to convince 20 year old kids whoโ€™ve watched too much โ€œclavicularโ€ that โ€œtrtโ€ at 21 is not a good idea

Here's the truth behind this bro. Testosterone is a drug that makes effort feel good. The mental effects of Testosterone are something that you will notice more and more as time/ years go on. It's a snowball effect.

You start by making small changes that have a positive impact on your life. Your natural reward system will make this effort feel good, and so you continue to make more changes.

To your work/ business life
To your relationships
To your physical health
To your mental health

Little bit, by little bit, you become better, until inevitably this results in more money, more time, more love, more patience, more gratitude.

Uhh, this was an excellent response ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป

The problem with the idea is it's been studied. The problem with the study is it was all self reporting (by users and significant others). The numbers didn't match
If we believe the theory that steroids amplify who you are, then, if you are a business-driven person, for example, you become that even more. Right?

If we believe the theory that steroids amplify who you are, then, if you are a business-driven person, for example, you become that even more. Right?
No. Not as such. That said the business thing is a bad example.

As I say the science is poor. Most docs, when asked, cite info that is decades old and based on what was even then poor science.

Does naturally occurring test in make us more likely to do risky shit compared to women? Sure. So that leads you to the thought that MORE test, as in PEDs makes you MORE likely to do manly shit. Yet (it was just the one) study on aggression in males in PRISON actually had them test out at at little lower than normal levels.

Now consider the mostly confident (seemingly anyway) men you know. Are they jacked? Hairy? Gung-ho?

Tricks have been played on people with sugar pills - meaning the IDEA (placebo) of them working made them more confident.

I'd argue I'm more comfortable in my own skin at 61 than I ever was (even if it appeared differently) at age 18 or 21. I'm deffo bigger and stronger. But equally I KNOW my 40+ years more experience count. Owning my property does. Having money in the bank does and so on. Younger guys have more to prove. Now imagine my sorry ass younger AND on PEDs lol. All noise and piss and nothing to show for it right?

Confidence is 99% mental. No1 is not giving a shit.

There is SOME bro-science behind Tren

The Tren version is 50-50. Tren is the ONE PED where science actually says it DOES give dementia like effects. However, that was again self reported by users of low dose tren in older male patients using tren for medical reasons. Most BS users suggest that Tren is the ONE PED that will enhance you into more of a dick if you was a dick off. It does NOT make nice Joes into asshats

Couldnโ€™t agree more with this. The mental side of testosterone and how it changes your relationship with effort is massively underrated. That snowball effect is real small positive actions start to feel rewarding, and once momentum builds it spills into every area of life. Nothing magic about it, just better hormones allowing better consistency, discipline, and follow-through. Well said ๐Ÿ‘Š

Personally, I became far better at navigating life as a provider, husband, father, and senior in my profession.
I also developed the assertiveness to say, I still want more and Iโ€™ll find a way to make it happen. I could see the momentum I was building and had the hunger to capitalise on it.
For years, I played the victim feeling like I was doing so much that there was no time left for myself, and using alcohol as a โ€œreward.โ€ Now I do twice as much, yet Iโ€™m significantly more organised, more in control, and far more intentional. I make it all happen because I choose to and because I can and i want to.

This is what it's about bro! I'm a bit younger and still relatively new to working from home running a business and I take a lot of pride in my ability to just grind, but the battle with "not having time for myself" is one I'm coming out of the other end of now.

Regardless of what it is, if it's important enough to you, you either make it happen or you don't.

Working to be a better provider, partner, father is something that is always at the forefront for me.

Developing that work ethic to grind will always be the foundation. Then as you you are seeing now then you learn to find the right strategy and navigate it productively.

You have got this in the bag my brother and i can tell as each day passes you are becoming more aware that you do also ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Correct priorities make for longevity bro just remember to allow balance in between the lines also. This doesnt mean shift your focus but more allow yourself to take care of yourself also. The best version we can create of ourselves is the best version we have to offer our family.

You have King mindset brother ๐Ÿ™
Much respect my bro ๐Ÿ’™

I think these effects are more pronounced when you first have those extra androgens.
but the more you use them the more you get used to them and these effects become less and less

example my first cycle all i wanted to do was lift, eat and fuck. didn't want to work at all.

So you kind of get numb to the effect, but you still feel good ?

What do you use
Iโ€™ve tried a bunch. Usually just test and sometimes gh, but masteron had a profound effect on my mood and well being. It made me ridiculously way too horny though.

Currently Iโ€™m just running 150mg test and 20mg proviron. Feeling good
How does it make you feel?
Just generally, I have fewer bad days or basically no โ€œbad daysโ€ even if I have a bad day.
How has it impacted your life?
Example: when I was natty, if something stupid happened at work that cost me time, money, safety, I very likely would have had an anger outburst.

Yesterday, a $12k machine fell out of a truck toolbox and got ran over by a tractor trailer. Itโ€™s really stupid, not exactly anyoneโ€™s fault but that would have gave me a stroke back in the day.

Instead, I had the driver take me back, we took pictures, collected the pieces, called my insurance, went back to the job site and took every single broken piece off the machine and miraculously made it work and got the job done and turned a -$12k (more actually, fuel, payroll, housing, etc etc) into a +$7k day and everyone got to go home feeling super accomplished and positive
Do you earn more money?
Yes and no. I probably wouldnโ€™t have started up a company again if I wasnโ€™t using test and PEDs, but not necessarily because of the hormonal influence (but it did help!) and more because my whole life has had a theme of self improvement.
Do you get more attention from women?
Well. I actually get much more inappropriate attention from different women and I think Iโ€™m a little intimidating and create anxiety for some of the women I would normally pursue. Itโ€™s weird. More attention, yes definitely, but more action? Definitely not, but itโ€™s much more complex
Have you been more productive with how you use your time?
No definitely not. This is complicated too. I spent my 20s and 30s as a true pathological workaholic. Even with PEDs I canโ€™t match that now and wouldnโ€™t want to. I was harming myself and people around me to a great degree, true addict.

From a girls point of view, there is a level of self improvment that is somewhat off putting.

Sure, taking care of yourself and having goals is attractive. If you are an obsessive workaholic, and have zero personality other than money, gym and business, that gets old pretty fast.

Some of the most insecure man-children i've ever met, have bodies like gods.

Some of the most attractive men i've ever met, had the most average physiques i've ever seen, but had this internal confidence you just cant fake.

Im sure you'll "hook up" with more girls looking like a marvel superhero. Im sure you've had girlfriends with banging bodies, that you eventually lost interest with. When you see the same body every day, it does get old.

So you kind of get numb to the effect, but you still feel good ?
it depends. if your test levels are bad off, then yes the effects would make you feel better IF that is the reason you feel bad

You're a great example (I am too but to a far lesser degree) of a guy who has dealt with some crazy shit which means we KNOW we're GTG on what others stress over.
Another good point. When you live in a storm long enough then the rain than bothers most people becomes something you don't even notice.

Bros, I think everybody's gonna be a little different. You should document what happens with yourself when you use them. Maybe keep a log of the mental changes. That would be a cool log to follow.
For me, I'm cool as a cucumber when I'm on them.

Do you earn more money?
Do you get more attention from women?
Have you been more productive with how you use your time?

Happy New Year, everyone!

I would say different steroids affect you differently. Something like Tren will turn you into a different person, especially at mild to high dosages of it. But other steroids won't do as much like Primo for example.

Iโ€™m curious how many people use steroids for mental benefits ๐Ÿฆ?

I think some people get really affected by androgens and some people mellow out. It just depends on each individual and you do change each time you use them as well.

From a girls point of view, there is a level of self improvment that is somewhat off putting.

As the saying goes "physical attraction will only ever be skin deep."

Confidence, emotional maturity, humour, and self-awareness go so much further than a perfect physique ever will. A great body might open doors, but it doesnโ€™t build connection or keep someone interested long-term.
I think the key point here is balance ambition and discipline are powerful when theyโ€™re paired with depth, presence, and the ability to actually relate to another human. That kind of confidence is rare, and itโ€™s obvious when itโ€™s real.

Hasn't affected me mentally or financially. I married but women seem far more interested in me. More because of the transformation I made than the roids

Mad respect for that. It truly is like medicine doing what you did and for those of us with trauma as well it's like medicine for us listening to it. Helps me too.
