I am a strong advocate for education and the responsible use of PEDs and will always speak out against their use by people who are too young or those who have not taken the time to research what exactly they are getting themselves into. You can see an example of this here: https://www.evolutionary.org/forums/threads/test-e-in-sydney.105161/post-1767943

That being said, @Zachus Backus Maximus has been an active member of another Aussie community for quite some time and I can confidently say that he's well educated on the topic, and is fully committed to this lifestyle having already dedicated several years to training naturally before his use of any PEDs. His use of PEDs are a part of the next phase of his competitive journey but his health will always be prioritised.

As part of his sponsorship agreement, we've also supplied him with a coach (@Gains Man), so his cycle, training, and nutrition programs have all been tailored for him specifically by a seasoned pro. He'll also have weekly check-ins and regular health screening done to ensure he is going about this as safely and effectively as possible.

Even though he's started this phase a couple of years younger than we typically recommend, he's not going into this blind and is taking the best approach available to him :)

although i strongly disagree with you using steroids. the truth is a lot of us on here started young too so it would be hypocritical

Broadly speaking and not to you specifically @Ulter (I understand that your concerns are genuine), but respectfully, as this has been addressed a few times already in this thread: are we able to squash the age-related rhetoric in @Zachus Backus Maximus's log? 🙏

There are many loggers here who have approached their journeys in far less responsible ways, using PEDs at younger ages with questionable training histories and physiques that clearly show that they have no business using any PEDs to begin with as they've never taken their training seriously at any point prior.

Zach is turning 24 in July and has been training since he was 16. While we can all agree that using PEDs in the early 20s isn't ideal, Zach has always approached this responsibly. His first cycle was under the guidance of one of his earlier coaches and came only after he had been training completely naturally for multiple years and he was in his 20s. This is not his first cycle.

At ~24 he's old enough to make his own decisions. While a lot of people may not always make the wisest decisions at this age, we should at least give him credit where it's due with how he's chosen to go about things since the beginning. He's also not someone that is just recklessly using PEDs to look shredded for an EDM festival - his motivation here is to hit the stage as a serious competitor. He has a completely understanding of what is involved and is determined to make this happen.

He's got the right people in his corner and is under the guidance of a reputable coach - he's in good hands. Just trying to steer the discussions away from a drawn out debate and more towards showing support for our brother :)

AJ

On the note of age, and those commenting
- how many here started after 25?
- he plans to complete, reality is in IFBB the pros are getting their cards at 21
So his age is modest to be fair.
I first used peds at 19, that was stupid and irresponsible
With a training history as long as his it's pretty fair to say he put in alot of work naturally before hopping on!

Keen to see you grow brother 🫡
And don't forget my fkn giveaway :D

Hey lads little update for the day we went and smashed out a pull session feeling great took it light to feel into the coming weeks and new program the idea was to have the first few sets as feelers while i build up the weight into a top set within a rep range performing 8-12 , for me personally i really enjoy the 3 second tempo on most lifts unless biceps i generally go for 2 second tempo or smaller muscle groups

Will update weight and measurements this weekend on check-in!

Pull session look good with the PEds, you doing Ais?

You should be using an Ai on the cycle to moderate estrogen, at least minimum dose. @Zachus Backus Maximus
EQ can smash E2 for some users, and even if it doesn't do that it will lower E2 to some extent. Best to see how the EQ affects things before introducing an AI.

In theory yes, but in reality majority of users wont have any impact with estrogen and equipoise. I have yet to see consistent blood work to prove otherwise. @hypogaeum

I have seen consistent bloodwork that shows it does affect E2.
I have seen some but not a lot, maybe 2-3 over my time. I'd be open to you referencing a few logs. I'm not saying search all, lets talk to the guys using Equipoise and test and see if we can get their bloods. It would be a good community research there we can both add to. :D @hypogaeum
I'm not even sure I'm right or wrong on this or neutral, it would be a good topic for us to research as a community.

Here are a few examples brother. Full disclosure that these guys were using various labs (not ours) - just sharing as the results demonstrate the impact EQ can have on e2. No AIs were used at any point and bloods were done six weeks or more into their cycle.

- 300mg sus / 150mg EQ per week (2:1):

300sus_150eq-2-1.webp

- 400mg test / 250mg EQ per week (1.6:1)

400test_250eq-1.6-1.webp

- 500mg test / 200mg EQ per week (2.5:1)

500test_200eq_2.5-1nuke.webp

All three were using different ratios with the third having the highest test to EQ ratio but still managed to nuke their e2. This is a good example of response variability between different people. I also wrote about this in another thread which some may find helpful:

https://www.evolutionary.org/forums/threads/test-and-eq-ratios.105375/#post-1775596

EDIT: I've posted this information in the thread linked above (as you suggested @LevButlerov) in case others wanted to add to it. :)

@Zachus Backus Maximus apologies for hijacking your thread brother - just wanted to share some insights related to what @hypogaeum was discussing with @LevButlerov.

@UGL OZ while I have seen blood work like this, it doesn't seem to be across the board. As we get the new research thread going, we should try to gather more blood work to make the topic more profound. Thank you for sharing this to start. :D
