Hey evo brothers, I'm pretty fresh to all these bodybuilding forums, I've been lifting for 3 years (started Feb 2023), i had a bad foundation - i was gaming all day, i didnt socialise, meaning i was and awkward scrawny guy. i didnt get in the gym for any particular reason, but i did have a few rough patches with family and past relationships which definitely led me to this road. I absolutely love bodybuilding, dieting, training, sleeping, eating. and this is my first post

my current status:
5'11
75kg
17% BF

I am prepping for a natural show Feb 2027, after that i will start my first cycle.
I've looked into a few options and came up with few ideas.
1. 300mg/wk test e, 16 weeks
2. 300mg/wk test e, 300 deca 16 weeks
3. 250mg/wk test e, 200mg/wk mast

though i am not exactly worried about my cycle just yet, i am looking for advice.
currently i am taking a few supps:
5000iu vitamin D
3000mg fish oil
glucosamine
6g l-citrulline
6g beta alanine
7g glutamine
7g creatine
50g maltodextrin
600mg N-acytle cystine
milk thistle
magnesium glycenate
zinc
5g glycine.

I do take these at different points, some preworkout or with certain meals. I have stopped taking caffeine as preworkout as it make me short of breath, and i have experimented with asprin before the gym for a better pump, I do notice a little difference - I cant put my finger on it though.

my current split is anterior/posterior, I recently dropped upper/lower as I didn't like the massive fatigue from lower so I swapped to half half it.
im not sure what else to add.

bench 105kg
deadlift 150kg
squat 120kg x 4 -I don't max on squats-
db curl 25kg x 5
one arm pushdown 25kg x 6

id say im arm dominant, but that just means im small everywhere else, i guess i have to get bigger. thats my goal anyways.
im looking for cycle advice and any other advice you guy can think of

thank you

Wow you look bigger that 75kg huh? You look good. Great arms!

Supplements look good.

That’s awesome you’re going to do a natty show first. You’ll probably do well I think.

Caffeine is over rated. People don’t realize his strong it is because we all have a tolerance to it. If it were a brand new synthetic drug it would be illegal Real quick. It’sa powerful tool if used intermittently. Some people tolerate it better than others.

For first cycles, I would choose #1 definitely and #3 maaaaybe but number one would definitely be a more informative experience. Running deca will get you big and looking thick af and strong. But a lot of people don’t tolerate it well including me. At first, you feel great, you get bigger and stronger with a certain look and you can eat the whole house. And then this dull negative mood sets in and I just can’t crack it and it’s not cool at all. And it takes FOREVER to go away. This happens to me at any dose. Npp was exactly the same but it started working faster and went away much faster. I would consider trying that again if I had a good reason but I have most of a vial of good deca and idk why I don’t just throw it away. There’s no way I can use it. It sets in so slow that if I wanted to use it just once for joint pain or something it would be worthless and if I run it again it’s basically just depression in a bottle.

Masteron was the opposite. Makes me feel fantastic. Like a ray of sunshine following you around. Lots of motivation. Contagious mood. On npp, people would say “wow you’re much bigger.” On masteron people would say “wow you look really good”.

You love bodybuilding and will be competing, so I can only imagine you’ll be figuring them all out for yourself. If I were you, I would do test only first, then add one compound on your next cycle and make it masteron. By that point I’m sure you’ll find a very experienced coach who can help you navigate the complexities

Yes I feel like test only for the first cycle is smart becuase it gives me an opportunity to ease into cycling and to learn more about how I respond. I do have 1 concern related to my back acne, it is pretty bad but its getting progressively better and I'll definitely post updates on it all. Thank you

Thank you for the support, it definitely means a lot.

Im going to update everyone on what supplements in taking.
5000iu vitamin D
3000mg fish oil
glucosamine
6g l-citrulline
6g beta alanine
7g glutamine
7g creatine
600mg N-acytle cystine
milk thistle
magnesium glycenate
zinc

New supps:
5g glycine.
50g maltodextrin

I did listen the new ones in the original post but these just arrived today.
Honestly I might take 10 grams of glycine a day as I have seen some good things in relation to collagen/skin health, and my acne is pretty bad so hopefully it will mitigate scarring and whatsoever.

I've also started being more strict with my split. I used to do what I felt like doing, but since I've started writing my workouts in a book I have been more strict with training all of what I'm supposed to.
Ex. I would only do hams and quad on lower
Now I'm strictly following my 'program'

I must add, I have had no joint pain or tendon pain in weeks, my elbow was a bit funny a few weeks ago - all good now- . About 3 years ago I had severe knee tendinitis, that is partly why I started working out becuase it slowly improved my knee tendon strength.

Im enjoying posting about this, its making me reflect on why i started working out and how i came to get my drive and passion for bodybuilding. And I am listening to the podcast i have listened 3 full episodes now, its definitely good to hear everyones story, it give me some motivation and i can always learn a thing or 2.
Thank you everyone for the support

Yes i am, I know how important joint health is for the long run, in fact any kind of health. I try my best to protect my joints, liver, kidneys anything. Thank you
that is smart

I'll be getting full bloods done soon, im not sure how bad it will get, I think I'll be able to keep it under controll
It absolutely can be kept under control. But if you’re already prone to it like I am, it can get really bad. I couldn’t even hide it. I bled through my shirt once. Cystic acne on my chest. 1000 pimples on my back like the Milky Way. Shoulders too. Turns out all those YouTubers claiming e2 of around 100+ being fine, yeah not fine for me. At that point I’d already used accutane which wasn’t a great time but it did work for a while

Really good on the workout. You can get a lot done with bench and deadlift along with squats. You don't even have to do any other training that particular day. Those three are tough enough. @BigHAM

@BigHAM Bros, I agree with the guys above. You look fantastic for your size. Don't over bulk; stay lean and put on quality muscle mass. That's a mistake I made.

One of the cool things about this post is how you are thorough. I like the rundown of your supplements and the training. I can see that you love your compound movements. Those are great. @BigHAM

@BigHAM great start to the log. Glad to have you here logging on evo!

At that point I’d already used accutane which wasn’t a great time but it did work for a while
Yeah, i bleed through my shirts atleast once a week, my pillow cases and sheets get blood on them, so its not the best. It is definitely somthing im working on. Luckily it isnt a lot of acne and its fixable

Really good on the workout. You can get a lot done with bench and deadlift along with squats. You don't even have to do any other training that particular day. Those three are tough enough. @BigHAM
They definitely are, I love training everything too. All the isolation exercises are fun, they give a good pump and they feel good

@BigHAM Bros, I agree with the guys above. You look fantastic for your size. Don't over bulk; stay lean and put on quality muscle mass. That's a mistake I made.
Definitely, im not looking to get fat when I bulk, i think 10kg in 7 months is a good goal. It won't be tons of fat, I just want to get a bit bigger and comfortable. And bring up the legs too

I do love compounds, I bench very often, I do deadlifts and squats alot too. They are fun and I always feel like I've done something good

You’re not worried that if you take steroids you’ll massacre your skin?
No I'm definitely worried, that's my only concern. Im pretty sure i know how to fix it but it takes time, im starting to put some stuff on my back, and I'm changing sheets more often, so hopfully it starts clearing up

Good luck. There’s a thread on here about acne. I put all kind of stuff on my back and did all of the hygiene stuff. But when you’re on steroids it’s different. It’s coming mostly from inside you. For me, it was high e2

I know i have pretty bad acne genes, my dads bad still has cystic acne, and he is scarred up all over his back and face. Ill have a look at the thread thanks mate

I'm starting to was my back more efficiently, I need to fix it well before I get on cycle in the far future.
I want to talk more about my raw meat eating habits, ill start by saying I am 100 percent aware i have parasites and that will affect my health, but I've accepted this risk. also I don't eat raw meat every day -maybe every 2-3 days- , I just enjoy the taste and benefits of liver.
I started eating raw meat in January, I first had raw ox liver and lamb heart. I feel amazing after having liver, its great. I got sick the second week of eating raw meat, it wasn't to bad, only the first day was a bit difficult. after I got over that I started eating more raw meat. when i did indulge in this i usually had 300 grams of liver -my go to raw meat meal- . by February I started eating 5 raw eggs a day, liver every few days, heart every so often and I ate 100g of raw chicken 4 separate times -I have not gotten sick from it-, it honestly tastes pretty good and the texture is great.

I don't eat raw meat for the benefits, I'm not really sure why, i just enjoy it and its a weird thing i started doing I understand that. I don't eat raw meat as much now, but I don't worry about cross contamination when cooking for myself because of my 'iron stomach' and i believe it will help me build up a strong immune system due to the bacteria and all that.

I am fully awear of the risks of salmonella and E.coli.
in fact that time I was sick I did have E.coli, I had to go to the toilet over 8 times a day, for almost a week.

I am welcome to any advice or criticism, don't be shy to knock some sense into me. i wont stop eating raw eggs though. I cant eat any kind of cooked eggs i get a killer headache and feel nauseous if they are cooked, but eating them raw makes me feel great, I feel sharp, alert.

I want to talk more about my raw meat eating habits
I’ve been eating raw meat my whole life. My step dad fed it to me when i was a little as I can remember. He put a little salt on it. It was good. Raw filet mignon is like eating water melon. Raw meat is very hydrating in a different way than just drinking water. Every single animal on earth eats raw meat. I never once got even slightly sick from eating raw meat and I have a pretty sensitive stomach

I never got parasites and I’ve probably eating a couple cows raw in total. For a while it was all I ate. You have confirmed parasites? You need to fix that. Maybe get some ivermectin. Pumpkin seeds or diatomaceous earth also are treatments for parasites. Gotta be food grade.

The problem is the meat we buy in stores has been handled and stored. But in theory it should have been handled and stored properly and you should be fine.
feel amazing after having liver
I have felt that too. Pretty shocking that you still have bad acne after eating all that vitamin A. Of note: Inuit who ate an almost 100% meat diet didn’t eat organs. They fed them to their dogs. They ate raw meat of all kinds, frozen fish, cooked meat and blubber and other things, but not organs. I rarely ever eat liver anymore. Heart is pretty good though. There are documented cases of vitamin A toxicity and even deaths from eating too much liver.

I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one to eat raw meat. I'm not sure why my acne is bad after having so much vitamin a as it is very good for skin health. I haven't confirmed parasites, I just assumed since I eat raw chicken. I know raw meat is good as it is the natural human diet, but I don't solely eat raw foods.

Welcome to Evo mate.

Looks like you have made good progress based on your photos and that you were saying you started off scrawny. If you look like that after three years training I'd say you have pretty good genetics for this.

How old are you?

Freshly 18 years old, i had almost no muscle when I started - huge love handles, just skinny fat.

I'm surprised this has been overlooked so far. Although typically people give their age in their first post.

18 (and particularly only just) is so young mate. I'm concerned that you are already talking about what cycle you're going to run. Don't you think you should just focus on training and diet for a while. You've made good progress so I assume that you can continue to make more as a natural. Do you understand the risks of hopping on gear?

Yeah I do know the risks, its a life altering decision that could bring me to an end early if I do it wrong. Im still not sure when I'll hop on. At the earliest 2027 but probably later. I do want to improve before starting gear

yes you definitely read right, I do eat raw meat, quite often, I know I sounds pretty weird but I like doing it.
how is your stomach doing it? @BigHAM
please share pics this is interesting
