Anytime I push to my limit I risk rectal bleeding (blood when I shit). My right elbow is tweaking a tiny bit today (benched yesterday) and so on. It doesn't matter what sport you do the risk of strain etc becomes higher the better you get. I've pointed out that when I broke world records I was literally doing stuff no one else had ever done.Going to look up the breathing hard method I’ve never heard of that.
I was doing safety bar squats before I stopped training legs this past month or so. Will go back to them eventually. I’ve heard all the injury stuff as well, and I guess there is a level of that where you have to leave it alone at least for heavy weight. But I think most people that use the excuse have no right to be using it.
I have knee, hip and back injuries. I have a chip from my left knee cap that’s inside my patella tendon. Injured my iliosacral joint years ago can’t remember even what is called. I also have a herniated disc in my lower back. That’s just mechanical stuff. I also need a blood transfusion, my HCT etc is that low again, also waiting for surgery etc. Have severe autoimmune issues list keeps going.
Here’s me lifting 352lbs off the floor, trap bar deadlift, with all the above problems. Literally I should be in hospital but am doing this. Yeah I don’t accept most peoples excuses for anything anymore.

In order to add muscle or strength beyond the average man we need to push harder than they do. In order to mitigate risk we can use a belt, straps and wraps. On squats we can change the stance we use, where we position the bar or even the version (as I do) of the squat. One issue, I suspect, is that all too often none of the above apply. Many such members aren't yet into freaky territory or have injuries and issues. It's just that the squat, done well, is hard.
Well boo hoo. Life's hard. Get to work!!
Start with 60kg/132lbs or 135lbs and get to work with at least 12 reps and work to 20. Over time 12 reps with 3 plates a side is the minimum (along with other exercises in a leg workout) to aim for if you REALLY wanna be muscular.
