Veteran Log Brown collar job Log - healing, maintenance phase

I’ve been buying dry organic white rice and cooking the whole bag. So that’s maybe $13 a week. Not too bad. I’ll warm it up on the microwave or reheat it in a pan with a tab of butter
Yeah it’s a lot cheaper to buy. You dont use a rice cooker?

This is some really damn good meals and I love how you take the time and effort to weigh them out.
If I didn’t weigh my food, I would be probably misjudging the amounts a lot.

I’m trying to get a really accurate idea of what I’m eating so I can see how it effects me, and then make changes ands see what that does.

I feel like I would be totally lost if I didn’t do it. I could probably just use measuring cups on some things, but the scale is right there. Not too hard.

I’ve made private personal logs over the years, but with only myself holding me accountable, it’s very easy to let the other things in life take over. I’m really enjoying this, and I appreciate everyone’s comments and advice

I’ve been considering dropping my fat intake as an experiment, but it would change the way I eat quite a bit, so it’ll take sure figuring out. I’m looking leaner already in just a week because I haven’t really pigged out on anything like I often had been.

For now, I’m going to stay the course until I get bloodwork, and then make changes with a goal in mind
Fat is good but keep it around 80 grams to start. @toddthelineman
 
I’ve been posting it daily. It’s been really good. My old logs are all on paper, abbreviated heavily, so that only I can read it. It’s going to take time to go through it all

I thought about doing that i bought a cuff myself
When I was getting bad numbers, that was really bothering me. Enough that I didn’t always want to check. But now I’m really glad I did because that’s at least one thing that I know I’m really getting right, and if it goes wrong I have ways to fix it without necessarily giving up on… being enhanced. I think if I had to I could even manage it without medication. Stress and poor sleep from being a driven person is a big factor.

I’m going to get blood work and heart imaging as well. Now I haven’t done a whole lot of steroids or anything, but I absolutely have abused my body in many other ways. I need to know where I’m at so I know where I’m going you know? I’m not scared to know if I have a lot of atherosclerosis, by all means I should. We’re gonna find out

Red meat is my primary food. I eat it like Chinese eat rice. Like Mexicans eat beans. And idk what else. I don’t even feel good if I’m not eating a pound a day, but I usually eat more. I’ll take three pounds of ground beef, put it I. A cast iron, put pizza toppings on it, cover it in cheese, red pepper, Italian seasoning, Parmesan, and cook it just like a deep dish pizza. Sometimes I can eat the whole thing. I should be a really fat person hahaha
 
The ugly truth is back. I got shit for sleep last night, blood pressure high again. Also, I was at a thing with a bunch of people and kids, at a park. And a drunk degenerate was terrorizing us until one of us (a mother of nine) started gently pushing him away and he started spitting and stuff so I kept him busy until the cops came. It took forever and it was so so so hard not to just… pop his head like a pimple. I’m still pretty worked up about that. Proud of myself for not hurting him, and my friends all backed me up. I used to be a degenerate. What an embarrassment

Fresh? Na I’m just buying it. I heard it was good for if you have arterial calcification. I haven’t gotten imaging done yet, but I smoked and did a lot of really dumb stuff for a long time. I do like how it tastes a lot. It can bind you up though

That’s what I came up with. I wasn’t planning it really, it just happens, when I have a really hungry day, I’ll eat like that and it stops the gluttonous demon inside me from robbing trick or treaters lol

I’m definitely prone to bad food impulses. So it seems like just eating huge amounts of clean food satisfies me, and I don’t feel like I’m missing anything. I haven’t gained an ounce of weight despite I think quite a lot of calories. I think to eat more I would need thc or something.

bros if not fresh then good chance they add junk to it. lots of sugar in these fruit juices so better you eat the fruit raw

My weight has stayed exactly the same. Which is fine. I feel like I’m eating pretty consistently a lot, but a stupid day at work today caused me to be hungry for longer than I would normally allow. Maybe I’m a little leaner, maybe just water. Weight on the bar is still going up, and I feel like I could lift more if I really wanted to. Bicep/elbow/wrist-itis still feeling better so I braved some light barbell curls and it was fine, but I could feel it in my bicep near my elbow.

I’m pretty tired guys 😮‍💨. Lifting three nights a week, working seven days this week, probably will be 11 days in a row, waterskiing three nights a week. Big rest day coming whether I like it or not

Both of my kids go to the gym. My daughter is the meal prepper, because she is a lifeguard, does my payroll and other office work, and is in nursing school. It’s her scale hahaha.

But I feel like whey powder is cheating. Like you could just make a gallon and drink it all day. Too easy. I’m not too sure all this protein is doing much for me since I’m on a pretty low amount of test. Scale is 179 every single day. But I think I’m going to want to add something soon. Maybe a little deca. Bloodwork first

If my bloodwork isn’t a horror show I’m going to add some things. Deca. Primo, HGH would be probably at the top of the list for this creaky old man.

Oh I just mean, I had no idea it was a thing that people were doing. And she didn’t tell me it was either. She just said I could eat only red meat for a while, like thirty days, and then add things back in one at a time And see if anything caused my pain to come back.

Which implied that only eating meat works solve my issues, but I didn’t even think about that. It did though! At least for a while. I had cholesterol so high the lab called me, that was funny. Close to 300 total. But my triglycerides after four years were very very low and I was getting super skinny. I hated that. So now we’re here hahaha

Ordered more plates today. More supplements, and ordered bloodwork for Friday. I will say, I have never consistently felt so strong when I was lifting. I’ve put up more, a good bit more, but when I was doing that I was on more stuff and it was really grinding through it. So maybe eating so much protein really is doing something, because that would be the biggest difference
