28 years old and first cycle. 5’6’’ and 167lbs with 8% body fat. Goal is to bulk and get stronger!
I’m looking for advice on deca for bulking purposes. I want to do 500mgs a week test and 400mgs of deca. Goal is 5-15 pounds. And I want to go 15 weeks. Do you like this setup that I am doing?

400mg of nandrolone or any 19 nor compound for your first cycle is pretty wild brother. You can run into problems real quick.
Npp would be a better choice for your first time as you can just drop it if you run into shit and its not gonna loiter around with sides.

You really just want to see how your body deals with test and the way it aromatises. Learn to control e2 and your best dose test to not send e2 through the roof.

If your training and diet is where it should be, 500mg test is gonna be more then enough to stack on some size, keep some aromasin on hand in case you do run into high oestrogen. Do your blood work and dont guess, you will just create yourself problems by guessing.

If you really wanted to add some anavar in at the last 6 weeks and supplement with some organ support.

for a first run keep it simple, 500 test is already a heavy dose and will give you all the growth you’re after. throwing deca in at 400 your very first time makes it hard to know what’s causing what with sides, especially since deca carries its own risks. at your size and bf you’ll grow plenty just on test, clean food and steady training.

if you really want to bulk, 12-15 weeks of test only will still get you that 5-15 pound gain easy and you’ll actually know how your body handles it. once you’ve got experience with recovery, bloods, and how you respond, then add another compound. keep it basic, push the food, push the weights, and you’ll see big results.

As others have said, would not start with that much gear. 250mg - 500mg test per week, ideally starting around 300 and can always increase from there.

If adding something like Nandrolone, especially for the first tome, think it’s always wise to use NPP (short ester) and on daily and if there’s any issues, it’s a lot easier and quicker to make dose changes and for them to have an effect due to the short ester.

Honestly bro with a first cycle you'll explode with just 500mg test for 14-16 weeks. Test is king and will bulk you good and proper without adding in anything else just yet which only add a small amount of gains but possibly terrible side effects on your bloodwork and prolactin as it's a 19-Nor. Best bet in this game is slow and steady wins the race and then you get to keep your gains if everything is in check post-cycle.

First cycle should be test only. 300-500mg/wk is more than enough. Food, training and recovery is what makes you grow. More drugs equal more side effects that you won’t know how to deal with.
 
well test and deca are def bulking options. make sure you use an AI. otherwise you can get estrogen issues
 
play it like this:

NPP 250mgs a week
test 150mgs a week
proviron 50mgs a day
 
i like adex as my AI. it is important. get bloods done as well. you need to know where you are at
 
i would not hesitate to go with deca. It's so underrated. A lot of people are scared of it, but it really does put on some solid size.
