Hey bigbrothers

Do you drink raw eggs?
Do you stay away from too many yellows? Cuz of the cholesterol? What's the limit?

I was never into the Raw Egg thing, though I Love Eggs.

I do get Liquid Egg Whites by the Gallon when I'm Cutting................................ JP
P.S.
If you are Drinking Eggs, go with Organic Pasteur Raised Eggs.
I wouldn't eat any Raw Egg, from a Commercial-Industry Plant, where the Chickens are Caged.

let me explain something to you egg people because there is too much ignorance out there

1. undercooked egg yolks: good cholesterol
2. overcooked eggs: bad cholesterol.
3. eggs eaten with spices with no oil: healthy
4. eggs fried and drenched in oil: NOT healthy

also if you don't cook eggs you are prone to bacteria issues. but that is only with eggs that are poor quality

good quality eggs will not carry bacteria. make sure you buy humane friendly stamped eggs. OR do what JP said above, a local farmer who lets his chickens run around in the sun and eat bugs/seeds

I drink some pasteurized whites. I used to drink whole eggs with hot sauce regularly, but now I just prefer them cooked.

Been eating raw eggs for years. We had our own chickens prior to moving out of the country, so we knew the eggs were high quality. Since moving I still feel comfortable eating the eggs raw here.

I've been drinking raw eggs for few years now. Nobody beside me does it and eveyone told me I'm crazy but I'm still doing it anyway. Every morning 5 to 10 eggs in my smoothie breakfast.

Should I count the yellows or it's just fine drinking them whole? I'm always trying to limit to 3 yellows cuz ppl sais it's too much cholesterol? Or there's nothing to be afraid of..?

Cholesterol - Cholesterol levels in the body actually have VERY little to do with dietary cholesterol intake. Poor cholesterol levels in the body are the result of inflammation. Mainly from a diet high in refined sugar, processed carbs, saturated and trans fats.

Raw eggs - The answer really depends on the eggs you are eating.

It is safe to eat raw eggs - ONLY if they come from free range, organic, pasture raised, humane eggs.

Your regular $1/dozen eggs at the grocery market - cook them. They come from sick chickens that are raised in over populated chicken coops their entire life.

Raw eggs from a healthy chicken that is fed a high quality diet - perfectly fine.

I am not sure where you are located but if you are able to get eggs from a local farmer at the farmer's market, those are the best eggs you can buy.

Egg limit - I eat 3-4 whole eggs every day and routinely include whole eggs in all my clients diets. I wouldn't set a limit.
