I am on our annual fathers day camping trip at Ginnie Springs, FL. Still getting my cardio at least. 1 hr this morning but got some photos of the different springs here we float and swim in and the river we tube down which takes a couple of hours. I hope y'all enjoy some different photos then the norm.
gorgeous

I don't but we have some in our group that paddle board. I like to snorkel the springs and river.

That looks absolutely beautiful

that is a great little camping trip. that is a very rural area. you doing any kayaking as well?
@kcates
No we were just tubing the river and a few were paddle boarding. I do a lot of free diving down in the entrance of the spring caves and snorkel. It's actually a cave diving destination as well.

Yeah nice and clear so u can see the snakes and gators coming.
bro watch out for bigfoot. he leaves over there in those woods

Water in water in the spring is 72 degrees year round. Santa Fe river is warmer right now. We cook food, sit around play games, socialize, swim in the springs, tub the river, rope swing, snorkel because the water is clear, ride around on the golf carts. No hunting aloud here. We see deer, owls, coyotes, and all kinds of smaller animals. I think we counted around 40 of us in our group this weekend
bros seems like a nice trip with family

@kcates that water looks awesome!

Maybe you will find a diamond lol ♦️
Only thing of worth found this trip snorkeling was nice pair of sunglasses that my son found on day one. We gave back to the Ginnie, my youngest son lost a pair of googles in the river. You taketh and giveth to the Ginnie. I cleared a bunch of bear cans and bottle south of the river was all I found and a broken snorkel. I got my share of trash out. They must have just had the divers go through and clean out the river from memorial day.

I used to find some crazy fossils snorkeling those old springs. It was fun on a day it wasn’t crowded

i will have to remember to bring something to sift through the sand with next go around and try and find some teeth. Here in Jacksonville we have an island out by the jetties we call shark tooth island that we go and find shark teeth on all the time. That's fun to do. I also hear of these places in Florida but don't know where any are that are just out in like fields or small rivers that people know of and go and pull hand size megalodon teeth out of. I wish i knew where those places were to go looking for those.

any of those springs in central or NFLA will have them you can sift through.
there are usually some smart dudes there sifting and they can help you identify what you find

Alright I am so behind on diet log and training log its not even funny. Diet I cant even remember what all I have eaten in the last couple of weeks to get the diet log caught up. I do have all my training logged in my app so I will log it. Up until this fathers day trip it was most of the same stuff I was eating. My usual breakfast of 6 eggs, 12 ounces of beef, and 6 ounces of rice, protein shakes, and a pound of meat at dinner. Now this camping trip. I ate whatever. We had hamburgers and hot dogs one night, breakfast burritos, steak and veggie kobo's, teriyaki chicken and pineapple, I snacked on a few Crustables PB&J, I had some jelly shots ( first alcohol since August), had lots of smores, walking taco's, and cinnamon roll pancakes. I went off the reservation for a long weekend. The crazy thing was I still lost a pound of weight which could have been water weight fluctuation but either way I didn't gain a bunch of weight from the crap I ate. So for me that is a win and I got to enjoy myself. Sometimes the social aspect of it all out weighs the need to be strict. Probably burnt all the extra calories swimming all day and night. Still got my cardio in on Friday and Saturday. Sunday I skipped cardio and we just packed up and headed home. Yesterday I was excited actually to get home and get back in the gym this morning. I also got 8.5 hours of sleep in last night when lately I get about 7.5. I got back to my normal routine and had 6 eggs, 12 ounces of ground beef, and 6 ounces of brown rice. My daily supplements and medications and I had 20 ounces of fish for dinner. Glad to be back on my normal routine again. Training log catch up to follow.
