Log Day 90

Wow 90 days of logging, and today is the first time I almost forgot to post lol. Getting complacent 3 months in.

I tried a delt injection Wednesday night and my shoulder had some weird pains right away. Thankfully by yesterday night it was all good and I was able to hit 3 sets of delts no prob. Maybe I'll try pinning delts again afterall. @toddthelineman

Training went good, still on that steady progression trend. Not bad considering I'm 12 weeks in on cycle. Still making gains each week.

Hit a new all time weight record this morning at 190lbs. My playing weight in hockey was 188lbs at 5'7 back in the day when I still thought I was going pro. I didn't look anything like I do now tho. 190 means I'm up about 13lbs in 90 days. I hit a plateau for a couple weeks there at 187lbs but my weight started trending up again this week.

Sleep was fucked last night. My AI mattress fucked me and decided to freeze me at 5:00am. Some sorta glitch in the app and I had to wake up to change the temp. Technology is great if it actually works. Maybe that was a sign of things to come when the AI rules us all lol

Log Day 91

Pretty late getting to my log again. Came up to the cottage this morning and been outside all day.

Upped my Anavar to 40mg sublingually pre workout yesterday and didn't feel a noticeable boost in performance. I think I'm going to stick at 40mg for these last few weeks.

Weight is holding at 190lbs again today so it looks like I'm starting to add and hold weight again.

Sleep was awful last night. I woke up so early this morning and couldn't get back to bed. My body was pretty sore from work, not training, working outside all day hauling around and climbing up and down a 24ft fiberglass extension ladder. My back was cooked and it messed with my sleep. Going to try to get to bed early tonight and catch up on my missed sleep.

Log Day 92

Late to the game posting again. Had a busy day working around the cottage and didn't have any free time to post. Just got home, so here we are.

Yesterday was a cottage rest day, focused on hitting my 10k steps and trying to catch up on sleep. Both targets were hit.

Manage to keep carbs and calories low while still hitting my protein even though I was at the cottage, pretty tough typically.

What the actual f**k is an AI mattress?
Eightsleep mattress. Best money I ever spent. Adjusts the temperature of your mattress while you sleep to improve efficiency.

If you like a cold bed cuz you sleep hot this is the greatest game changer ever @Mobster

Yea I'm trying to add some weight. I've always been a mid size sorts guy. Long lean muscle and shredded but couldn't really gain much weight naturally. I kinda looked like a 5"11 UFC lightweight but now I'm trying to be a middleweight

Log Day 93

Back on track logging in the AM.

Got my training in during a bit of a rain storm at the cottage. Couldn't do my sled pulls cuz of the rain. I was gonna do some split squats but the rain stopped and work began. Good thing I didn't cuz my quads are cooked from the work we had to do. Got the 3.5ton boat lift in the water and hauled god knows how many hundreds of pounds of weeds outta the lake.

Sleep was ok. Got home later that usual so bedtime got pushed and wasn't really wound down when I was trying to fall asleep. Back to normal routine today.

yeah i guess it makes sense. i'm not a hockey expert but i would think you could shoot the puck harder if you had longer limbs. plus would be hard to fight others

Ya definitely. It's a big man's game. Being smaller had it's advantages though. If your short and heavy you can go low on big guys and ruin them. I played a really aggressive style. Always top 3 in points and penalty minutes every season lol. Even fighting wasn't too bad. If you're strong on your skates you have a big advantage and if you get in trouble you can just take the guy down.

Fights in lacrosse were where it was at tho. It was basically totally legal bare knuckle boxing. In lacrosse you take off your own helmet and gloves, everyone circles up around you including the refs and you go. Fights were less frequent than hockey but man were they intense lol. Especially when we played the native teams. Those guys are hardcore

Thanks bro. I'll keep pushing as hard as I can for these last 3 weeks and see how far I can go. Got my GH ready for post cycle to run as HRT with my TRT. Hopefully I can keep a good chunk of my gains post cycle. @LevButlerov

In the late fall I'd like to try a true bulking cycle. Hearing the Steve's talk about dbol and deca together on the podcast has me curious. Also Tren sounds interesting too but they say to save Tren for later in your journey.

I'm good with that. I'll probably go back to my previous dose of 180mg for a while. Before I was able to sit around 800 test at that dose. Not sure if I'll need to run a bit higher now though after the cycle.

Naw still got all mine. Usually you lose teeth to high sticks and pucks when you play with a visor. You can't wear a visor until you're playing junior at 18 years old. Before that you still have to wear a full cage helmet to keep all your teeth lol
 
Log Day 94

Recovery has been a little bit low the last 5 days. Pretty sure my body is fighting off some kind of illness right now. My apprentice came to work sick last Thursday and I've been feeling a bit off since.

Pretty strong session in the gym given the low recovery. Good progress on bench and leg extensions.

Ate like a pig last night lol. 6 chicken breasts from the time I got home til bed. My food bill is way higher than my ped bill lol.

I'm at 300 right now and my test was just below 1200. 250 cruise til next cycle? Hmm
Idk if I’d stay that high. Maybe you can do it no problem. But that’s what I did for a long time. 250/ week for a long long time. I figure nothing bad happened to me. I had thick blood for at least a year. But I would’ve felt just about the same with better blood work on something more like 180. I didn’t understand the logic behind blasting. Like, do your most in a short amount of time and then maintain it while staying healthy. My logic was to just stay level, higher than trt, but never blasting. Now I think, if you’re going to do that you have to be more vigilant all the time, or something is bound to sneak up on you. I still think one can make it work, but I’m not enhancing myself for the direct purpose of monetizing my physique or performance, and I don’t always want to obsess about it. So in that way it makes more sense to go all the way down to trt where I’m much safer long term.

Sound logic. My only reason for considering a higher TRT dose is to maintain more of my gains between cycles. Even at 300mg/week my markers were all in pretty good shape. My next bloodwork is coming up on the 26th.

I want to try a true bulking cycle in the beginning of winter. Not exactly sure what just yet. Dbol or something. Try and pack some weight on them do a cutting cycle in the late spring early summer. Wanna run EQ then.

Ya I'm gonna do a GH HRT dose like you. Once I taper off the gear and get down to a TRT+ dose I'll add 2iu of GH a day and see how that goes.

I think I recall you saying you’re pretty maxed out food wise, not having time or appetite to eat more. When weighing your options for bulking you’ll have to consider mk677. I’m taking it now. I was taking it with serostim, then I read a bunch of different comments saying not to do that on others’ threads. So I paused the serostim and like a day later the mk677 hit hard. I gained six pounds of water weight and man, I feel like I could eat anything, any amount. I can’t wait to eat when I’m cooking, barely taking pictures. Absolutely wild. I could see how this stuff would work amazing for some people and be a disaster for others.

Dbol is one I haven’t tried and I don’t suppose I will. I know a couple old guys that did dbol only way back when. Including my old father in law. He was damn big and damn strong way into his sixties. I just know my skin would be a horror on something like that

So you quit the GH to only use MK? I thought Mk just stimulates your own GH, so it's just a lesser form of exogenous GH.

I don't really post much about my food cuz it's literally the same thing every day lol. The only thing that changes, but really it's the same. A lot of some kinda protein, some rice and veggies.

I can literally eat like a robot and it doesn't bother me one bit though. I do enjoy a nice meal, but I'm perfectly happy just eating the same thing all the time too @LevButlerov

Yesterday was back day, my favorite day. Love training back, but sleeping with a sore back is tough haha. These Gironda pull ups and the version of lat prayers I do are doing some work on me. I'm in a 1RiR week now so pushing really hard. I treat 1RiR as going to failure basically. Maybe I could've grinded out one more rep but probably not.

Recovery finally bounced back up a bit this morning. Hopefully I'm starting to get back to 100%

Hit my 10K steps for the day and got to bed at a decent time. Pretty good day overall.

Snapped a quick update shot after I jumped outta the shower last night. I'll do a proper update this weekend. Still staying pretty leanish with the added 14lbs I've gained these past 13 weeks.

Naw you can rip them off pretty easy. No one really does up their chin straps tight. If you reach over the top of the helmet and pull straight up from the bottom at the base of the guys neck it pops off like a glove. Usually the move is you use your left hand to grab their jersey around their right shoulder tie up their throwing arm then go for the helmet with your right hand.

I look way fuller, my hands are numb rn, I just slept nine hours hard as hell. I got up once and had to force myself to get up to pee. Went right back to sleep. This stuff works. Seriously strong. I think the only reason people don’t like it is the hunger. It’s intense

I think I remember watching a video where Dr. Todd Lee broke down the peptide gh secretagogues and at the end he said just take the actual fukn gh lol.

I'm sure the mk is saving you a lot of money.

Yeah, I 100% see Dr Todd’s view if I were swinging for the bleachers, I would be cranking the gh and that would very obviously be superior.

Serostim is very expensive. I had a bad experience with cheap gh. I couldn’t even finish the kit. I still have some. Blood pressure was like 190. It was real, I had much higher igf blood levels And the carpal tunnel was unmanageable. My body weight climbed rapidly from the water. I was so tired all day I worried I’d crash a truck. Maybe I wasn’t dosing it right. But I’ve used genotropin, norditropin, omnitrope, all with good success and results.

This mk experiment is like, a side quest because I had lost my appetite with this heat, and that did coincidentally happen as soon as I started the serostim.

Numb hands… well it’s a side effect of gh, waking up with numb hands and it can get really tough as the doses go up. I didn’t get that with 1.8 iu serostim, which is good. What I’m feeling now is not unmanageable at all.

Well if mk can do what you need then that's a huge win. I'd rather drink something then pin. It's cheaper, less hassle, it's a win win win.

That’s where I’m leaning. It really seems like the missing link for me to maintain my weight at the height of summer. And getting the gh recovery benefits, I think I’m feeling that strongly

Good to know. If I don't get the intended results from my GH then I'll give some MK a roll. The stuff I got is Italian Pharma GH so if it doesn't work then I know it's not for me.

Good back day @BeMe :D I'm seeing really a new level of mass and cuts on you. Abs look amazing, and chest arms are HUGE, big shoulders and thick traps, impressive size.

It's funny cuz the times I've posted talking about cheat meals the EVO fam roasts me and say it's not even a cheat meal lol.

A proper cheat meal would be something like a Philly Cheese steak and fries, or a burger from a good burger place and fries, but I do that maybe once a month if that.

Usually my cheat meals are a couple tacos with a burrito bowl, or a whole bunch of sushi. It's not really a proper cheat, but in a way it's a cheat cuz the macros are way off for what I'm doing.

French fries are my favorite cheat food. I'll have a meal with fries once every couple of weeks @LevButlerov

Ever make your own fries? I have a deep fryer I put lard in. I’ve used tallow too. It’ll spoil you!

I get the mental aspect of cheat meals for guys but I really don't have that problem. Honestly I feel better eating healthier, mentally and physically. I track everything and I notice cheat meals can negatively effect my recovery and sleep at times. I won't even drink a beer anymore for the same reasons haha.

Oh man yes! My wife makes home made fries, a couple times with beef tallow and OMG!!! You aren't kidding bro, heavenly. Homemade fries cooked in tallow would be on my last meal request if I was on death row.

Homemade burgers with fries are the best. I think McDonalds uses tallow in their fries too right? It's what makes their fries different from the other chains I heard and why it smells so good when you drive by one.
 
I think I recall you saying you’re pretty maxed out food wise, not having time or appetite to eat more. When weighing your options for bulking you’ll have to consider mk677. I’m taking it now. I was taking it with serostim, then I read a bunch of different comments saying not to do that on others’ threads. So I paused the serostim and like a day later the mk677 hit hard. I gained six pounds of water weight and man, I feel like I could eat anything, any amount. I can’t wait to eat when I’m cooking, barely taking pictures. Absolutely wild. I could see how this stuff would work amazing for some people and be a disaster for others.

Dbol is one I haven’t tried and I don’t suppose I will. I know a couple old guys that did dbol only way back when. Including my old father in law. He was damn big and damn strong way into his sixties. I just know my skin would be a horror on something like that

yeah i've done hgh. i got more appetite increase on nutrobal believe it or not.

just like hgh. if you run too much over time you can develop the same issues like rise in insulin resistance, cancer growth and carpal tunnel. so i would keep the dose low if you run it long term. but just like hgh you can start and stop it at your leisure. its not like using steroids where you want to dose consistent

@BeMe cheat meals are a must, they both mental and physical positives. :D They give a mental break so you don’t feel like you’re on a strict plan 24/7. They can keep appetite signals and cravings in check, making it easier to stick to clean eating most of the time. A big meal here and there can also give the thyroid a nudge think boosting T3, especially if you've been eating super clean and the body starts adapting. Refeeds can help regulate leptin and other hormones even in a bulk, especially if it's been a long controlled phase. What I've seen you eat is same thing day in and out, 100% you are controlled.
Plus, let’s be real sometimes you just need the calories to push harder in the gym the next day, even when you feel like you had enough. Eat a pizza you'll see how your training goes lol :P

I've just always been of the mindset I like eating healthy, I'm not picky about what I eat, and I like staying lean. So eating optimally and the same constantly ticks all boxes.

When you come off the npp and higher test, the slight water will go away and you’re going to look CRAZY. You’re gonna really like it, you’ll see what you’ve really done then. The gh puts the water back a little, but then leans you out too. You’re just going to keep enjoying all the processes
 
Naw you can rip them off pretty easy. No one really does up their chin straps tight. If you reach over the top of the helmet and pull straight up from the bottom at the base of the guys neck it pops off like a glove. Usually the move is you use your left hand to grab their jersey around their right shoulder tie up their throwing arm then go for the helmet with your right hand.
ah i see. well i guess the next question is why not just take your skate off and use it as a weapon lol

Im gonna go for a true bulking cycle in the winter. Still trying to decide if I'm goin all in on Tren or just run some dbol first and save the Tren for later @BodyMonster34

Yea it's been awesome so far. I love to train and being able to up my workload cuz of the gear has been great. It used to be tough running a 4 day split. Now I'm able to recover pretty well on a 5 day split with added sets. Pretty happy all things considered. @toddthelineman

Yep very happy so far. Hitting my targets and everything has gone really well. My bloodwork has been great on cycle and it's all working out as I hoped. Just gotta keep following the plan and keep lean gaining up to my goal weight hopefully end of 2026.

I've noticed a funny thing. I think I'm like you where my left side really doesn't like getting pinned. I've noticed over time that it's always my left that gets sore. I pinned my right delt for the first time yesterday and it went perfect but last week the left was sore right away...weird. Always my left side gets sore and right goes perfectly. @ceo

Yesterday was a rest day but I had a pretty tough day at work. Decided to prioritize rest when I got home a literally did nothing. I was at almost 8k steps when I got home and barely ticked over 8k by the end of the day. Sat on the couch and barely even moved lol. Glad I did though because my recovery is up today and I'm just starting my training now and my numbers are all up.

Pinned my right delt for the first time last night and it went perfect. Couldn't have asked for better. Pretty much the opposite of my first left delt pin last week that burned and ached right away. I think the delts are here to stay for a while. Glutes are still my fave but delts aren't bad at all.

Had a "cheat" meal last night. Cheat by my standards anyway. Had a lamb quesadilla and taco bowl, with a beef quesadilla. Ate like a pig and went to bed happy.

Ya some heavy lifting. Most of the time it's just a lot of moving around and going up and down ladders. Lots of aerobic work. I like to make it into training sometimes and try to keep my heart rate up.

Yesterday was especially bad because we're having another heat wave here and I was in a sweat box warehouse all day @LevButlerov

This idea reminds me when my daughter tried bulking and just wound up with better abs. That happens to me too. Eat like shit and it just feeds the muscle. When you’re really healthy sometimes I think processed food can just go directly to muscle.

I swear that's what's behind these kids getting so damn tall these days. My youngest brother is 8 years younger than me and every one of his friends was well over 6 ft when they went to highschool

Sometimes just working in 1 large facility I've tracked over 3km of walking just inside the facility. It's crazy cuz I don't even realize it til I check my tracker at the end of the day

Ya it's been so hot the last 2 months I haven't even used my sauna. There's literally no need. I sweat more at work sometimes then I do in a sauna for the equivalent time

I'm hearing you mate, mine have been shit lately with change of work, when I was a supervisor between two jobs on a mine-site, I'd end up with 20k steps before even realising by the end of a 12vie, now I need to push to do cardio haha

Ya it's tough the further you climb up the corporate ladder the less you tend to move around. I'm sure the bump in pay helps smooth that out tho right lol.

What type of mining do you do?

I always thought there's something so cool about digging into the ground and finding what you're looking for. I think it hits something in our primal brains in a special way. I'd watch this tv show about Aussies with metal detectors walking around the desert picking up pieces of gold and I think that would be the heroine version of mining lol. So addictive

Big day for me, my first day as an EVO VIP logger. Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who's stopped by the log and offered up support and motivation. You guys know who you are and you're the best!

Training was really good yesterday. Had a sudden jump in progression adding three reps on my first set of dips to start the session. Felt really strong coming off the rest day with a semi cheat meal.

My right delt still feels fine after it's first pin, and I trained delts yesterday. Thought I would feel a little something today but still good to go. Delts are here to stay.

Sub par sleep last night. I don't know what was going on but I had to pee 4 times, and man did I pee A LOT. Almost like I was drinking a bunch of beers kind of pee. Not sure what's up with that cuz everything else was pretty standard leading up to bed last night.
