It's one of those things that it depends on who told you the truth or not. A lot of that whole thing is a myth from what I know. It's kind of like people who make up reasons why we celebrate Christmas or celebrate the 4th of July. Both those holidays have been bastardized.
 
We had a 22lb bird this year. My dad gets them fresh from a local farmer and what a difference vs those frozen Butterballs.

I think you can get them to cook all the way through either way, it just takes a lot longer. I know the cook time varies depending on the size.
Bros I can imagine the fresh one the best. Or if you go hunt for one.

Haha my birthday was 22Sep and my girl got me a massive rib eye with a candle in it. She knew better to get me anything "birthday'ish".

My tier list would be:
My girl (medium piece)
Parents (small piece)
Sister (smaller piece out of respect - she trains and I have her on sema)
Kids (no piece - they get it)
Rest of the world (a dirty look when asked and a hard "NO" if pressured)
The ribeye cake is a sweet idea. That's really nice of her

Dose 70mg test EOD, 2iu GH

Last day of this arm training focused mesocycle then into my deload. Pushed some extra sets and really got a great pump in.

Love pushing volume on arms while giving the rest of my body a bit of rest. Feel I'm to start pushing again after these 10 weeks of arm focused training. Planning an upper focused upper lower 4 day split. I'm curious to see if I do better on 4 day splits instead of 5. Gonna give it a month. When I hop on Tren I'll definitely be doing 5 days again to get the aggression out.

Don't think the arm focused training really yielded any extraordinary results. It was good for resting up a bit but I don't think it made much progression.

Gotta play catch-up cuz I'm a couple days behind on my deload week

Keeping the food high on training or high output days still. Seeing if I can grow while cruising.

I know a down low one. It’s right next to a trailer park and none of the girls have drivers licenses. 25¢ beers and no cover. Go on a weekday. They’re starving hahaha. I went to one in Tennessee, you had to become a member and they ran a background check and it was byob. The girls were unbelievable.

It's one of the most dedicated and detailed logs right now he's like the energizer bunny... his log just keeps going and going and stays interesting!
 
I completely disagree with them. @BeMe I think cheat days are a must for any bodybuilder.
Cheat meals help reset leptin and thyroid hormones, which boost metabolic rate and prevent fat loss plateaus. They also refill glycogen and improve training performance in the days after. When used right, 1 meal every week or 2 keeps metabolism firing and makes long term dieting easier to stick to.
There's some confusion here.

People think 'cheat meals' have to be dirty. But they do not. A cheat meal could, as I've seen some mention, doubling up on sweet potatoes or yams. Ditto a LOT more protein.

It differs from low, medium and high days or carb cycling in so far as many are restricting what they eat (we've a bunch here who in their logs eat the same diet and just manipulate the macros to gain or lose)

I'd never really recommend hitting a bodypart properly more than 2x a week.
 
Oh ya CBD is never leaving again. I've dropped it a couple times over the last 8 or so years but never for long cuz I'm always quickly reminded how hard it's quietly working in the background.

Those down low ones were always the best ones haha. There's a pretty famous one in Niagara falls that the cops leave alone cuz it's such a tourist destination. They have horseshoe tables where the girls dance inside and do full on lesbo shows. It's a favorite spot for Canadians and Americans having bachelor parties.

I've been running arm focus for 10 weeks. 4 on 1 deload twice. Don't think it made much of a difference. My arms haven't grown much at all. I did just come off cycle so maybe that has a little bit to do with it. It was fun though. Theoretically focusing all your effort for growth on arms should work. Maybe I'll try it again someday on a more optimal time of my life.

For my tren cycle I'm running Ace. I'm a first timer and have no idea how it's gonna go so I need to be able to back down quick if it gets bad. Going to slowing titrate up from about 150mg per week in 70mg increments.

Yea zero downside to the CBD. It helps me sleep a lot better. Especially when you're pushing the training and going to bed sore. @willipede

Yea back in the day I used to go once every couple weeks. I was a young hustler with a ton of money to burn and strip clubs were one of the many ways I burned it lol. I've been to all the Montreal spots. There was the something Orange that was famous in Vancouver because Ben Affleck got caught cheating on Jennifer Lopez there. Went there and it was pretty boring.

The strip clubs in Europe were pretty insane. In Switzerland the girls all look like fashion models on the street. The girls in the clubs were even better still.

Log Day 186

Dose 70mg test EOD, 2iu GH pre-bed

BIG NEWS - Went back on the podcast this morning and had a blast. Felt a lot more comfortable talking this time and got to be more of myself in doing so. We talked about a bunch of different logs, the O, and even some home improvement tips ala @stevesmi lol. It was a ton of fun just shooting the shit with Steve and @Mobster . Really feels like hanging with a couple of old friends at a bar or something like that. Special shoutouts to @PrinceDaddy and @JackD42 who we talked about a lot in this episode. Two really admirable real deal bodybuilders!

Back to the log. I started my deload week late yesterday. I was cramming my Monday and Tuesday sessions in last night. It's a deload so it was bad at all. Plan to hit my Wed/Thurs training tomorrow and finish up Friday on Saturday.

The weight all felt really good. Slow steady movements really focusing in. The 295lb front squat felt crazy light. Felt like I coulda repped that atleast another 7 or 8 times easily. Probably having 4 days off training, 3 of those days off work, meant my legs were well rested. I was almost tempted to throw another 40lbs on the bar and push a heavy set just for fun, but I calmed my inner meathead down. I've gotten aot better at that lately thanks to you guys!

Cycler up the macros just a little bit yesterday just cuz it was deload training. Didn't think it was enough to warrant pushing all the way up to the max.

Everything you mentioned would be death for me lol. I have a slight dairy intolerance so even half of any of those things would have me losing weight lol

A cheat meal doesn’t have to be dirty or junk, it just means increasing calories or a specific macro like carbs or protein to refill glycogen and reset hormones. This is very true. @BeMe note.

Doubling sweet potatoes, adding extra lean meat, or upping rice portions all count. It’s different from carb cycling because it’s more about a single controlled refeed, not planned macro shifts over multiple days.

The whoop is pretty pricey but if you're way into the data like me it's sooo worth it. I like having an idea of how the changes I make are effecting me right away. Sometimes change is tough to feel but when you have so much data all mapped out for you already it's easy to spot the differences. Let's me know when I'm on the right track or I'm just wasting time or money on something

Yea felt amazingly light. I was actually shocked. During my training hitting 325 for 5. Too bad this was a deload week cuz I definitely woulda been going for PRs.

i went to one for a friends bachelor party. the girl there made me buy her drinks who was stripping. then she said she would take me to VIP room. ended up spending like $1200 for a lap dance and drinks for a girl i never saw again. a waste if you ask me

Although I did get my money's worth a few times back then. I actually dated one stripper for a little bit and she paid for everything. They have some weird complex where when you date then they don't let you pay for them. It was pretty cool

It's more of a high carb than protein day :D but you want the protein in there to maintain an anabolic state. @BeMe

Makes sense. When hear bodybuilders talk about refeeds it's usually when they're on a cut. I always thought it was a matter of just fueling up a bit after being so depleted. A way of helping maintain strength and motivation through a cutting phase.

I guess if you're exhausted from overworking like me it makes sense too

I was feeling a bit tired after work yesterday so I figured I'd take a rest day and just double up my deload days today. I think I might start doing this with my deload weeks so I can have more rest days. Feels like it's working pretty good.

Just got my IGF1 results and it was 343. That's pretty ideal right? Looks like the 2iu is working?

Wifey went all out again for dinner. Some fresh wild salmon in lemon dill sauce with spinach, carrots, and sweet potatoes. Perfection.

Refeed days always pumps the tyres back up for sure! Thats why i like carb cycling 😁

sure I think 2 is the sweet spot. Dont push for 4 until you back on a cycle imo.

I'm not sure what measure it is. I was wondering that too on my report. I do know I've seen I'm supposed to aim for 300 ideally and if you're at or over 300 then you know your GH is real.

Yep that's the $40 salmon from the butcher. My wife and I had similar portions on our plates and that was $40 of fish lol. Tasted great tho.

I did consider swapping over the log a while ago, but it just keep going lol. Now I'm only weeks away from my next cycle so I'm like fuk at this point haha.

I guess I could start another log for 4 weeks then start another one @LevButlerov ?

What do you think. I'm still new to all this haha.
 
Log Day 188

Dose 70mg test EOD, 2iu GH

Yesterday was a pretty good day at work. Managed to get most of my 10k steps done there so no need for the treadmill.

Did another double deload day. It was pretty easy still, so I see no reason for not doing it this way going forward. Might as well stick them together like this so I get some extra rest days on my deload week.

Training was light and easy but intentional. Still get a little pump just by really slowing things down and holding the stretch. Good time to work on technique.

Tomorrow I'm going to start building my next training cycle. I'm going to start pushing some for some growth again. Switching to a 4 day split now and going for an upper lower program with upper focus. My legs grow way to fast for my upper body. Wish I could be more like my brother @Noah Wixx and grow faster up top.

Brave hahaha. I’d rather eat some kind of soy thing. Lab meat is a pretty nasty idea and sure of the labs have had horrific bacterial outbreaks.

We all want what we can't have lol. I guess in Aus you wear shorts a lot so legs matter. Canada shorts are only an option like 3 month outta the year. The rest of the time having bit quads and glutes is a pain in the ass cuz you can't find pants that fit lol. Always gotta size up then suck them in with a belt haha

Dose 70mg test eod, 2iu GH pre-bed

Had a very busy "rest" day running errands around the city. Had to hit downtown Scarborough beaches area here which is a nightmare for driving. Almost got run over on my bike twice and once the guy had the nerve to flip me off after he came across 4 lanes of traffic and almost took me out. The fact I didn't drag him outta the car at the next light and beat him senseless proves roid rage isn't a thing. Thinking about it doesn't count lol.

Went to bed a little late last night then slept in crazy late this morning. Haven't slept like that since I was a kid. Felt like shit sleeping in so late but I gotta say I feel great now.

Good food and good rest has me really looking forward to my new training cycle this week.

Lol I'm just not built like you guys. I actually like the cooler weather. Right now is perfect here. High teens celcius is where it's at for me. The other day it was 9 celcius out and I was walking around in a t shirt and noticed everyone else had heavy jackets on lol

18 is beautiful haha. I run hot to, especially now that I'm all jacked up on test lol. That's why I'm running Tren in the winter. Don't think I could manage the heat at work in the summer on cycle.

I think your training is already good imo, you shouldn't push up too much when you TRT, give it time, stay low weight high rep for now :D

Last training cycle I went heavy low rep but this time I'm going back to the 10-12 rep ranges again. I was thinking of switching to a 4 day split but now I'm not sure. Think I might just stick with 5 days again. I kinda like getting a bit of extra work in while spreading out the workload @LevButlerov

If you go to an Asian market you can get these wrappers. They're paper thin and sold dry and hard. You dip them in water super quick and they soften instantly. Super healthy way to wrap up food @stevesmi

almost 3 hours to digest is good! @BeMe that gives your body time to break down the food. This way you don't go to bed with a full stomach.

yeah those asian markets have a lot of cool stuff. but its getting harder to find authentic stuff. its more and more processed @BeMe
