Tuesday
This time last week it was a w**k session. Today was LOADS better. Zero idea why
Seated Press
usual warm up, 20kg bar x 8 reps, 60kg x 8 reps, then 92kg x 8 reps. So easy, in fact, that I tried what I couldn't budge last week 100kg/220lbs and got 8 reps with that too

Saxon Bar Work
Usual warm ups and thumbs felt locked in so 97.5/214.5lbs x 3 x 3 and 1 x 5 reps

to 565kg/1243lbs x 7 reps. Chalked my hands to pull hard into the machine so as to not bend the pads

Leg Press
to 632kg/1390lbs x 4 reps (depth needs to be better but happy to get this moving this time

Lying Leg Curls
to 7p x 8 reps (will work back to 9p etc)

Leg Extensions
to stack x 8 reps (as above)

Huge numbers as usual brother - 565kg on the power squat machine is no joke your a machine!

to 175kg/384lbs x 3 x 1 reps (could have been better)

MiraFit 60mm handle
Got to top sets and bombed. Called it quits

As per all the podcasts and threads etc I'm BIG on time off and recovering. Zero need to go on TRT until you absolutely have to.

Just seen an error - it wasn't 12 reps - it was 1
 
Tuesday
I did something to my left knee (feels specific to the kneecap) coming downstairs this morning. Hurt like a mofo for a bit. On went a knee sleeve which helped loads. Took it half off for my afternoon steps and just got a tiny twinge on my way back. Zero reason for it to hurt - no obvious straining, twisting etc. Training was great lol

to 102.5kg/226lbs x 5 reps

Saxon Bar Work
The plan was 3 x 4 x 100kg/220lbs. But I was in the zone so 100 x 4, 102.5kg x 3 x 3 reps then singles to a fail at 112.5kg/247.5lbs

I may have shot myself in the foot grip wise with the Saxon and forearm work of the last 2 days. That and having a good bench session lol
Close Grip Bench Press
All bar top weight were either paused or paused and done with feet up
broomstick x 40, bar x 8, 60kg (last rep paused) all feet up, 80kg x 6 (same as 60kg), 120kg (feet up and paused), 140kg/308lbs (same), 160kg/352lbs (paused) then 182.5kg/401+lbs x 1 no spot and 1 ground out with the gym owner spotting. After I showed with the Josh Baker trick and we did a forearm flex for the camera.

One Arm Dumbbell Row
50kg/110lbs x 15 reps, 70kg/1254lbs x 15 reps, 90kg/198lbs x fail - I was done

As a few may recall Stevesmi mentioning I, when I'm no killing weights, enjoy taking nature pics (other stuff too from time to time) when I'm getting my steps in. I have had stuff published and even used for regional news on the BBC etc.

I, on the other hand, can be seen to have a bunch of muscle where he has gaps. But we were having fun

Maxed it out at 490kg/1078lbs x 8 reps (resistance band to hold weights on). Pretty sure I used to be able to load 505kg but they have less 25's now

to 610kg/1342lbs x 15 reps. Not the same range of movement as in my gym

to 16p x 4 r/p reps

Leg Extension
to 3/4 stack x 9 r/p reps

1) It'll take getting used to - groove wise
2) I see most users prefer a lift off - I don't
3) But I do wanna see if I can overload (say 220kg/484lbs) using one to get used to big boy weights.

The next PR target is 205kg/451lbs vs the current 200kg/440lbs

As per my log the last few weeks I've been warming up to 140kg/308lbs feet up AND a pause then 160kg/352lbs pause before hitting the work weight of 180kg/396lbs+

One issue is I close grip and the slingshot seems to be better with a wider grip

As above the first 3 reps with 300kg/682lbs never moved as quick as it did today. Off camera is Landon Jackson (former bodybuilding competitor and still a big lump) and Chris Jones filming and both encouraging me to get it done. I had the 6 reps in mind (I think the previous PB was 4) as a 'do this, do the next 2 numbers and 400kg/881lbs will go'). I sat on the bench 2x paused on the 440lbs/200kg with just a support belt on. The 310kg I I had my Cerberus Extreme knee wraps on (3m and hardcore - sods to put on lol), proper belt etc.

I also started with 30mg dbol yesterday (might up to 40 or 50) for the next 4-8 weeks (poss switch to Var around week 4 - we will see). I also ordered a Mark Bell 'MadDog' XXL Slingshot yesterday

Monster going for some big all time best lifts with a nice stack of gear. You going to be at your all time highest LBM during the cycle?
Not sure. In fact, unless I do sus and deca no. Probably 320lbs or so tops
 
Makes my spine hurt
Made my hip ache for a few hours after lol. But back injuries on leg presses mostly come from rounding the back at the bottom which I don't do (anymore lol)

And yesterday was 1496lbs - so about 200 more
