So, a little background... im 51, 5'9, currently 167 (this morning)... i was taking test cyp for almost 7 years with a few breaks (due to supply).. i was taking as TRT... I started at 250mg a week (125mg twice a week) and over the years worked my way up to 500mg a week. About 2 years ago I came off a big break and started over at 250mg a week. I lost my supplier back in October and just reupped from DS with xt labs c 300. I haven't tested it yet but I started my self out at what I believe is 120mg twice a week right now.

As far as diet... i try to keep protein intake high and carbs low... i take multi vitamin every day, 5mg creatine Hcl mixed with ATH lytes twice a day (morning and noon), night time CBD and 400mg micronized magnesium glycinate. I am currently not drinking alcohol (month and a half now)..

Here is what "usually" eat... it varies tho with my work schedule, whether im traveling or how much time I have...
Breakfast: 4 hard boiled eggs, or buy omlette/breakfast sandwich.

Mid morning: 1 cup non fat Greek yogurt with a large dollup of peanut butter, frozen berries and maple syrup.

Lunch: try to meal prep (grilled chicken, roasted veggies, rice or barilla+ pasta), or homemade sandwich/PB+J, or buy out.

Mid afternoon: leftover lunch or protein bar, or power core protein drink, red bull

Dinner: chicken, fish, steak, pork, burger, veggies, salad, maybe potatoes/rice/pasta

Training and lifting... well my job is my workout... im an Arborist and I climb and rig down trees on a daily basis... i do try to hike every morning when I wake up. I live at the base of a ski mtn and at minimum do 1 mile up and back. I just got back into this groove and have hit every morning for past 6 days now (I will bump it up next week).. i mtn bike (cross country and downhill), try to swim 1-2 times a week 30 min continuous (crawl, breast, side [both]) when I can. I dont lift weights. Winter time i ski and hike, coach a ski team (im a current USSA certified alpine race coach).

I think thats all I got for now... here is a pic from today for whoever asked! 🙂

High doses of vitamin C, no... but i poted all other amounts and how frequent in my post before... i dont think you understand what I do for work... at the end of the day I am not going to the gym... i am not lifting weights... i absolutely have no desire to, as I am totally smoked... the fact that I manage to hike, bike, swim along with my work is a testament in itself. People always ask how I do it. In my mind one keeps me in shape for the other. Summer keeps me in shape for winter, winter (skiing, coaching) keeps me in shape for summer.

Welcome brother, keen to see where this journey leads 🔥

Plenty of activity and good nutrition. Nice combination 👊

@Arborine cool stuff man. hwat made you get into this type of career? is the money good?
At the time (21 years ago), I got back into teaching in the ski industry and was looking what I could do spring,/summer/fall that would make me good money and allow me winters off so I could ski... i found tree work! I worked for several companies through the years and have been fully self employed now for 5 years.

I did trees out west for like three weeks. Guy wanted to pay me ten dollars an hour. And I get it right, but I was not a kid. I was a more competent climber and worker than the owner by a large margin. But I guess sometimes there’s just not enough to go around. And I would have stuck it out and wrangled myself into a better position but then the fires started and I just went back home.

Check out the movie train dreams. It’s about loggers cutting trees for the railroad. Great movie

@Arborine reminds me of when I worked on engineering some roller coasters, how high they were. Definitely you got to have a strong stomach and not be queasy about heights but at the end of the day the money is definitely worth it.

Seven weeks at such a high dosage. My goodness, where were your numbers at? I would imagine your blood would have thickened up like crazy. @Arborine

Not full 7 years... Worked up 500mg a week over about 3 years... I then lost source for a while when I went back on I went back to 250mg a week and never got back up that high. Supply was inconsistent with 1-3 or so months breaks. I was off 8 months and started back up a week ago... I had blood work done 3 weeks before I started back up and all my levels, as the doc said, were perfect.

Well that's definitely a good sign.

@Arborine very nice start to the log man. I’ll be following along

I upped my Vit C today to 1750mg... I have 500mg buffered capsules and then my multi-vitamin packs an additional 250mg.

Creatine is still at 15g (5g morning, noon, evening)... Not sure when I should bump that up? by how much? For how long? Also, what are the benefits of taking high dose (30mg per day) when reached?

I was asked to bring the following post here to my log that I posted elsewhere...

So a question to everyone... I was on my usual test C 250 and then ended up with sustanon 250 because that was all my source had. I took that for a couple months with great results but I found it messed with my sleep. So I reupped with test C but I would throw in a dose of Sus every now and then... I would do like every 3rd dose or so, or if I felt I needed it. It def gave me a push when I did. And my source at the time said it was good to mix it in because I would getting all 3 esters. Good? Bad? Thoughts? I am thinking of getting a batch of Sus and start plugging it in.

I also saw test with 4 esters, with the addition of deca... That's totally new to me so just looking to learn about that and should It consider taking it like the Sus mentioned above?

Creatine go up to 30 grams but slowly.

I posted what to do with the sustanon but since you post it here again I'll repost :D

@Arborine yes man, always post up these questions in your log. This way it doesn't confuse people because we're tracking you in this log and we want to make sure that we're able to know what's going on.

Bros, sustanon is a combo of four esters, like you said. Really nothing special about it; each ester picks up after one another. @Arborine

I thought Sus was propionate, enenthate and cypionate... I never saw anything labeled Sustanon with 4 esters before... I've heard of deca but didn't know it was test ester. I know propionate acts right away... Enenthate and cypionate are long esters... Where does deca fall? And how is it different.

For the record, way back when I started, I took enenthate 250... Then Sus 250... had good results and then I got introduced to cypionate and it made me feel that much better so I stuck with it after that.

A lot of times the people who own these sources aren't the best place to get knowledge and advice. @Arborine they might mean well but at the end of the day they're trying to sell you something so I would not trust what they say.

I get that... That is why I'm bringing it up... Again, my question was. staying with cypionate and then tossing in Sustanon (3 ester) every now and then... Beneficial? Taboo?... It worked for me when I did it... But now I see Deca as a fourth ester. How does Deca work?

Rx sustanon is like… propionate, phenylpropionate, enanthate, and undecanoate.

UGL sustanon is just a combination of short, medium, and long esters however their chemist can get it right.

The short esters are the ones that give you a kick in the pants, and a lot of people like them and use them exclusively, but propionate is infamous for post injection pain, and frequent pinning is “necessary”.

I like sustanon. It doesn’t hurt, you get an effect you can feel without using as much, and you don’t need to pin it frequently, but you can if you want

I’d be comfortable using it the way you are.

I can be somewhat of a degenerate workaholic lol, and I have found that using gear to fuel that behavior can paint you into a corner a little bit and there is definitely a point over time where less is more. When it comes to looooooong term use, it’s good to play it safe. If your blood levels are over 1000 mg/dl, you should be feeling pretty damn good all the time.
all my levels, as the doc said, were perfect.
That’s awesome. And honestly not surprising. You’re living a clean life. I miss the air in the mountains so much.

If you can, look up the bloodwork and post it on your log. For reference, but also there are a pretty good number of people on EVO that have seen more bloodwork than your average doctor and in the context of using gear… they are unmatched.
Where does deca fall
So there’s testosterone decanoate in sustanon, and then there’s “deca” which is nandrolone decanoate. Deca is a love it or hate it thing. It can make your joints feel good, add size and strength, and many other things depending on the individual. For me, I look and feel freaking awesome on it for like three weeks, but it hasn’t even set in yet at that point. Somewhere around there I always start feeling mental side effects and it’s subtle at first and by the time I figured out that the deca was completely screwing me over it takes like two months! to feel better. I wouldn’t even recommend trying it personally. Testosterone and HGH will make you look and feel and perform sooooo good. Other things like certain orals are useful and beneficial in their own ways. Test esters are something to play around with and see what you like. It’s all testosterone and none are necessarily “better” than any other except for preference

Why? I had the over done Vit C chat re using PEDs years ago. 600mg seems optimal

And change sources. Zero need to be limited by product availability when we have approved sources with plenty of options

@Arborine I don't think it matters man. They are all the same thing. You are just going to have to see what you like. I like smooth gear. That's my number one concern.

no sustanon is a mix of prop, PP, ISO and deca esters. but they make unique ester blends

@LevButlerov recommended it... I did a little research and it is supposed to help... 2000mg per day is the upper limit daily dosage for adults... So I'm trying it out.

And I did change/find new source... That's how I ended up here 🙂
