Steve and I do this yearly where we put out are early NFL predictions... Im not going to do my normal where i write a novel as to why im putting teams where they are but i will give my early predictions... obviously we cannot predict injuries, which ultimately dictates things as to how they occur and also, the NFC west is such a crap shoot that the smallest, tiniest error or injury will make such a huge impact but here we go...

Your picks look solid .It’s always fun to look back at them at the end of the season.

Why dont you guys have a fantasy league?

I used to be in them all the time but like everything you always have that 1 asshole who ruins it for everyone else.

i think this forum has a lot of people who live abroad so not many NFL fans. many of the mods for example know nothing about NFL lol dont' think it would work well

here are my predictions.

1. injuries will be huge this year. i believe some marquee players will be injured and it will alter the season bigtime.
2. i believe a team who is mediocre halfway through will catch fire midseason and go really far in the playoffs and shock people
3. i believe several of the teams the experts are picking won't amount to shit this year.

KC vs. TB in super bowl

KC wins

worst teams in the NFL: Houston, Seattle, Detroit, NYG, ATL.. this is the year to tank with atleast 3-4 solid QB's coming out in the draft in 2023 and all 5 of these teams need franchise QB's. could the the first draft where literally first 5 picks are QB's lol

see the *, that means wild card, so i have the cowgirls in the playoffs but ONLY cause the NFC is so wildly weak. dude your coach is awful. look at all the penalties, that is coaching!

it is actually one of the major problems with the NFL today the way the conferences and divisions are so unequal. especially considering how certain organizations are so pitiful and will never be good for another 20 years.

the AFC have so many good QB's and the NFC has barely any, and the ones the NFC have are old.

and the divisons are so wildly unequal its ridiculous. the AFC South compared to the AFC West for example. the disparity is not good for the league cause whoever wins the south will be worse then the 4th place team in the west. yes there are now 3 wild card teams but that doesn't do enough to fix the issue

nobody is respecting the Bears but Justin Fields is legit

and I really like our coaches we got this year.

if they can get the Oline gel'd up they will be division champs. the packers are a joke especially that lying asshole Rodgers. who is he throwing to this year? they got nobody!

Houston going to take it all biatches

bro houston never be better than dallas in our lifetimes lol

houston sucks. don't even got good beef there anymore

Los Angeles Chargers are the win dont question me

green bay packers champions i put money on it

no idea i dont watch

lol

lol i bet houston wins a super bowl before dallas does again

Jerry Jones and his trust fund baby son will never win shit. nice nepotism going on there in big D. baby Jones should sell the team and cash out after daddy dies. if he ends up running that team it will be a mess.

im certainly no vikings fan and thats an understatement, especially considering how much money they have cost me in the past, but i have a really strong feeling with a new coach who is offensive minded that will let cousins open it up and having justin jefferson, adam thielen and dalvin cook with a revamped defensive line, this team could be fucking dangerous.. im no cousins fan either but look at his numbers long term.. they are fucking impressive... if they stay healthy, they are a real thread in the nfc, which is pretty top heavy and not very deep on talented teams.. nfc is definitely up for grabs but for a sleeper, the vikings could be the bengals of last year... no shit and i cant even believe im saying that shit lol

Cowboys for me

Teams Im watching to see if they can get to next level
Colts
Chargers
Vikings
Raiders
Dolphins
Saints
Chargers
Eagles

im not trying to be a Saints homer here but if you look at the overall team... Top 5 defense.. excellent line, Stud running back with Karma and now mark ingram is back with him in the backfield... all the upgrades at receiver with signing Javaris Landry and getting Chris Olave in the draft, not to mention Michael Thomas getting healthy... a very strong tight end with trautman and although Winstron has a checkered past, if hes under control, he can get excellent.. i really really like their chances...

beyond that, the Chargers are really set to have a huge year... Sometimes i worry about the coaching because while im all about taking gambles offensively, he takes it to an entirely different level where its almost too much but they have so many upgrades on that team and Herbert is a flat out star... i like them to have a huge year...

the other team im telling you on this list that has a real chance is the Vikings.. i posted on it in the thread already but i do think they are going to be a team to watch this year as well...

several of the teams you listed are intriguing but there is so much talent spread out... so many teams so close on paper but it all comes down to injuries and the teams that stay healthy are the ones you will see flourishing

everyone is entitled to their opinions.. i dont base mine on who i like etc.. i base it on facts, lineups etc... they are set up to have a huge year and people that really go in depth on these, as i do, considering sports are my entire life, can see these types of things.. pretty sure noone out there saw the bengals coming like that last year for instance... theres a few teams every year that come out of nowhere and the Vikings are set up to be that team this year... i cant stand them personally.. one of my least favorite teams but to offer true opinions, you dont just pick who you like, you pick what you see regardless...

not to mention, you really dont offer any reason as to why... a sentence saying you dont think so without offering anything to back it up is really something taken with a grain of salt... you dont give one reason as to why... other than "you don't think" where I laid out so many reasons why in my previous posts...

Lets just take a look at Kirk Cousins stats over his career

This is his playing for a defensive coach most of his career as well... his numbers are pretty damn impressive, not to mention hes one of the highest paid qb's over this time... now, hes been extremely smart in betting on himself and continuously playing on a franchise tag where he makes bank but then putting that into huge contracts and his numbers scream he deserves it... many say hes crumbled under pressure but i can argue against that in many instances...

THEN you take into consideration that Justin jefferson is literally a top 3 receiver ALREADY (likely the very best in the NFL) along with a veteran that is highly skilled like Adam Thielen, a top 5 running back in Dalvin Cook and a very strong backup in alexander mattison, a revamped defense, a strong line and a DOWN division as well as top heavy NFC and it screams them having a huge year

I think Vikings are prime for a huge year I just dont trust Cousins in crunch time yet. Hes really good and if everyone stays healthy around him they have a really strong chance getting to superbowl but not sold on him yet and Dalvin cook is one dimensional and injury risk so I still hold my reservations.

Also Saints need to go with Ian Book by week 4. Winston is a massive liability and with a strong core team (line, RB, WR, defense, etc) they dont need to hit a homerun and thats all Winston does is swing for the fences. Id rather see them start Dalton and let him game manage until Book is ready to go. Just my opinion though.
