Hi Evo Fam,
As requested and agreed to (Hi Lev) this is my first log here, or anywhere for that matter, and it will be on my first peds cycles and the road back to the powerlifting platform in 2026.
So first me:
Age: 58
Height: 188cm (6'2", fuck I'm shrinking)
Weight: 106.2kg
Worth mentioning: I am a Registered Nurse, though I left practising as one over 18 years ago.
The inevitable Bio:
I have not done any peds until March this year. As a younger guy I was playing State and National level football (soccer) for many years, this ended about 20 years ago and I needed a new competitive outlet. This is where powerlifting came in.
I have been involved in gym culture since I was 16 and have been in a gym of some description ever since. Most of the time it was for football but in the off-season I always wanted to push and see what i could do. When I stopped Football due to injuries and age, hitting the gym harder became the thing to do.
But why do this now?
For the last few years I had steadily been getting less energetic, more tired and a whole lot more grumpy. My drinking went up, my food intake increased and my libido hit the basement. I was still lifting heavy but I hit 119kg and I needed to do something about this and I knew it. I watched far too many people my age justify gaining weight, getting really unhealthy and doing nothing about it because of their age and I wasn't about to join them.
I looked into several things and it was a lack of testosterone that I felt was the thing that was pushing this along.
In Australia it is not an easy thing to do TRT, so after finding my levels were 230, I talked with my son-in-law and decided to do this myself with his help.
In March 2025 I started 125mg Test E per week and I have never looked back. Things however did escalate...a bit ;).

Cycle:
First real cycle started in May and ended 3 weeks ago with: (all of my pins are every 3 days because....its even 😁)
Test E titrated up to 525mg per week by week 3 of 12
Deca started in week 4 at 210mg for joints (knees loved this stuff)
Primobolan 105mg per week to help with sides (acne). This did work well.

I am currently running until I get my blood test done in the next couple of weeks: Sort of a cut phase though I have lost 5 kg in 3 weeks due to the Retatrutide.
Test E 204 per week
Retatrutide 3mg per week
Clen 50mg 2 days on, 2 days off.

Next cycle will be Test E (same), Deca(up a bit), Primobolan (because I still have some, up a bit). I want to replace the Primo with Proviron next.

Diet currently:
M1 Breakfast - 3 eggs, 2 short cut bacon, 1/2 cup cheese (P 46, C 5 F43, Cal 701)
M2 - Corn thins cheese spread, sliced meat (P 29, C 15, F 27, Cal 421)
M3 Lunch - 300g Chicken, Rice, Beans (P 64, C 56, F 34, Cal 804)
M4 - Protein Shake and Protein bar ( P31, C18, F 12, Cal 310)
M5 - Pasta dish - (P34 C52, F18 Cal 510)

Total 2,756 a day during this phase

Training: As the log progresses I will go into more detail here and the reasons why I do certain exercises.
Mon - Chest/ Bench
Tuesday - Back/ Deadlifts
Wednesday - A mix of several things but mostly shoulder and ab work
Thursday - Leg / Squats
Friday - Arms

Cardio: 2-3 times a week for a half arsed 30 minutes each time. This does need to improve.

Sleep: 7-8 hours a night, some good, some not.

Supplements:
Multi Vitamin
NAC
Probiotic
Magnesium
Psyllium Husk
Creatine

I have attached current photos. Video from training tonight to follow once we figure out how to reduce it in size.

I am looking forward to sharing this log and adventure with you all.

With all of my pins I do them every 3 days. The Test E at 204 is (250mg per ml ÷10 =25×3.5ml my dose =87.5mg × 2=175÷6 remember every 3 days=29.16x7 a week=204) gets me as close to 200mg a week as I can get.I take a tablespoon per day of psyllium.
I use Swisse daily digestive probiotic and central 50+ multi vitamin. That is everything I take.
No sides with the Reta, and the Clen, well because we have it and it seems to work, I think 🤔

Further to using Clen with Ret, I find that the increase to my metabolic rate that Clen provides is phenomenal. That coupled with Retatrutide just drops the additional fat on me. Won't use it for a long period but it is doing the job so far.

Hi Evo Fam,
As requested and agreed to (Hi Lev) this is my first log here, or anywhere for that matter, and it will be on my first peds cycles and the road back to the powerlifting platform in 2026.

I am looking forward to sharing this log and adventure with you all.
bro i see bacon, eggs, and protein bars. that aight. but you need beef and red meat if you want to make the man @Kopite67

@Kopite67 these supps are on point. i love the 8 hour sleep. keep it consistent

bro i see bacon, eggs, and protein bars. that aight. but you need beef and red meat if you want to make the man @Kopite67
@BodyMonster34 being From Oz beef most certainly is on the menu, i just can't eat a lot of it while on the retatrutide. When I go back on in a couple of weeks beef, and in particular steak, will be making a regular and welcome return to the fold 😁

Yes @ceo whole foods would be preferable but time is my greatest enemy. With work, travel time and training the days run out of hours as they do for most people. I haven't quite got my timings down to incorporate more whole foods into my diet, but I am working on it 🙃

Lunch was 190g of Chicken with a cup of green beans (pic attached)
Tonights training session was a mix of different items:
Front raise with ezy bar:
10 x 5kg, 10 x 7.5kg, 4 x 10 x 10kg (bar weight not included)
Rear delts:

Sorry no videos as my tech staff were busy 😅
Dinner tonight is a pasta bake and I post that tomorrow.
Weight is holding at 106.3 but I appear a bit leaner. Pic's on Friday will be an interesting comparison with the last ones.
I also had blood taken today so results should be soon. That's it for today keep well Evo Fam 🙏💪

get a rice cooker, air fryer or small grill. the devices will do the work for you. a rice cooker you can take anywhere. you can cook a lot of things in that. same with a small grill you can pack with you

bros the red meat needed to grow the big dick

Thanks, I will explore these options a bit more. Fortunately summer is around the corner and salads are a godsend for eating whole foods more. Winter is always a bit hit and miss down here for those, so I don't bother.

bros that interesting. here in south cali we got good ag year round

It can greatly depend in Oz on the weather. Last few years floods have reeked havoc through farms in the eastern states so we don't get the abundance year round like we did around 2018-20.
bros yeah i know weather been nuts in cali too. bigtime issues with global warmings here with fires and droughts

Here are some of these training videos re-done now I have worked out to edit better.
First squats, then t-bar rows, then pulldowns.

T bar rows

Pulldowns
All training looked good but range is hard to see, I like that you're trying and sharing :D @Kopite67

@Kopite67 nice start man and welcome to the forum. Can’t wait to see your progression

Hi Evo Fam,
As requested and agreed to (Hi Lev) this is my first log here, or anywhere for that matter, and it will be on my first peds cycles and the road back to the powerlifting platform in 2026.
Welcome into the community 💪

All training looked good but range is hard to see, I like that you're trying and sharing :D @Kopite67

thank you for the update the emails look good! tasty.

protein is low thats going to be an issue, have you added protein shakes pre post training and a protein bar during day? :D
I only just worked out last night how to do videos better so onward and upward from here.
Thanks, the pictures are much easier to navigate 😅.
Agreed Protein is low and needs to go up. Whilst on the "sort of" cut phase it was hard because the retatrutide made me full so quick.
Since that phase ends tonight (spoiler alert) I will be significantly upping the protein and shakes will be playing a big role in that 😁

Hey Evo Fam,
Meal time log.
Dinner yesterday was a Chicken and Mushroom Pasta P35 C34 F30 Cal 543
Breakfast Omelette with Chilli and Garlic P48 C7 F42 Cal 701
Lunch today is Chicken breast with prosciutto, cup brown rice, snow peas, tbsp Soy and Tabasco P56.8 C52.5 F15.1 Cal 542 This looks so good, I have struggled not to taste test it.

Have a great day all 😊
wow that is quite interesting. never tried mushroom pasta. but that looks good! @Kopite67

Lets up the protein and grow :D

Training today was arm day, and it was brutal.

Narrow press 5 x 20,40,60,80,92.5, 102.5, 112.5kg I got a cramp in my hamstring on the 3rd rep which is why it wobbled. The last 2 with the cramp sucked 😕

Ezybar curls 5 x 20,30,40,47.5,52.5, 57.5kg. Failed this last time so really pleased I got it.

Cable rev curl 4 x 21.25kg

Lower ab crunch 4 x 19

And that was that 🙂

So that was the end of my short cut cycle.
I started at 111.5kg and ended this morning at 105.7kg
It was a different experience for me and I am leaner now than I have ever been.
My strength increased over the cycle which was really surprising.
I will do this again after my next growth cycle.

Now for the full on growth cycle.

This starts Monday and I will be running the following for 12weeks:
Test E 525mg pw
Deca. 245mg pw
Primo 145mg pw

Protein will be increased significantly this time though I will keep a close eye on the other macros to try and keep bulk gain down as much as I can.

Time to grow and make serious strength gains. Let's get to it 😁💪🙏

Unfortunately my experimenting with spices does that now and then 🤣. I back off for a week or so when that happens, but I can't help myself and I am back doing the same thing soon enough 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️.

Thanks @ROIDDERS, when I started this log I figured I either do it properly and the way it should be done or just don't bother. Half assed was never my intention.
🤣Chilli is the one spice that I handle well, there are a few others (paprika, cayenne pepper, cough, cough....) that will send me in the same bathroom direction 🤭

Non training day today but not a non eating one.
We were travelling today so meals are mixed.
Breakfast Toast and leg Ham slices P26 C32 F15 Cal 380
Lunch 300g Chicken, Saffron Rice, Pasta salad
P101 C47 F23 Cal 695
There were also a mix of Pies, Protein shakes and Protien bars P102 C144 F74 Cal 1479
Definitely upped the protein and calories, though at times it has been a struggle 😬

@Kopite67 food is looking bomb bro!

My blood test result came through yesterday and is attached. ALT and AST were elevated and total cholesterol was slightly low all of which pointed to my liver.
This is no great surprise given my high stress work life and "self medication " with alcohol to relieve this over the last several years. That turned around in March this year so the next one in a few months and a comparison will give a better indication of where things are now.
That said Mrs Kopite67 will be picking up some Milk Thistle tomorrow 🤔.
