Early season statement for the 2026 Olympia race with a clean Classic Physique lineup. The headliner was Australia’s Ethan Gohari, who took the title with symmetry and stage control, for our fellow EVO family Aussies
Top 10 - Men’s Classic Physique
Winner - Ethan Gohari
Gohari won this the right way: classic small, tight waist, and enough lower body detail to separate when the comparisons stretched out. He looked composed in every mandatory and kept the same look at night that he brought in the morning, which is exactly what the judges rewarded. Scorecards back it up with low numbers in both rounds, and the win stamps his Olympia qualification with months to refine instead of chase.

2nd place - Kellen Wilson
Wilson made the center battle interesting thanks to a tall frame that reads very “Classic” in quarter turns and side shots. He matched the winner on flow and transitions and kept pressure on through the back shots; where he fell behind was overall hardness and a little less pop through the legs. This is the kind of early runner up that ages well over a season once a few tweaks land, so expect him to be dangerous the next time out.

3rd Place - Eric Brown Jr.
Brown Jr. brought thicker upper-body density and looked confident in front shots, especially when he opened up his lats and let the chest carry. Midsection control stayed clean under the lights, and when he nailed timing on his money poses he separated from the second callout. The panel kept him comfortably in third at both prejudging and finals, a good sign that his look translated from every angle.

4th Place - Damien Patrick
Patrick’s strength here was balance and repeatability: nothing lagged, nothing faded late, and he held shape while the comparisons cycled. If he chisels a touch more quad and hamstring separation to match his upper body sharpness, he’ll threaten podiums in similar-depth lineups. Fourth is a solid marker that sets him up well for points and confidence as schedules tighten.

5th Place - Stanislas De Longeaux
De Longeaux earned the final first-callout slot with clean lines, steady pacing, and crisp side shots that played well under the house lights. From a distance his front double biceps had the right silhouette, and he didn’t give ground even as the center rotated. More finish through the posterior chain will level up his back poses, but fifth here keeps him firmly in the conversation as fields shuffle week to week.

How the judging happened
Once the 1st callout locked, the top 5 never felt chaotic. Gohari and Wilson set the pace in the middle, Brown Jr. settled into a clear third, and Patrick with De Longeaux rounded the lead group. The second half of the top ten was competitive and fluid during comparisons, but the score sheet shows clear separation above and below the 5 spot. If you study the card, you’ll see consistent prejudging and finals tallies for the top five, which matches how it looked in the building. Look closer on the NPC site you'll see they are all big and thick.
Scorecard notes (top five)
With the current qualification landscape, a Pro show victory is the straightest path to the Olympia, and getting it done this early gives the champion time to plan rather than scramble. Gohari can selectively target one or two peaking opportunities between now and the big show, while Wilson and Brown Jr. have a very clear roadmap for what to sharpen before their next show. Patrick and De Longeaux both leave with momentum and film to fine tune, which is exactly what a November qualifier should deliver.

- Kellen Wilson -second across both rounds, strong flow and structure
- Eric Brown Jr. - third solid at PJ and finals, upper-body density read well
- Damien Patrick -balanced look, held shape late in comparisons
- Stanislas De Longeaux -clean lines, side shots a strength

Takeaways for the division
- Structure and midsection control continue to be premium currency in Classic Physique.
- Leg finish made the difference in the center, especially once the rotations hit the back shots.
- Presentation speed mattered; the athletes who controlled tempo between poses kept judges’ eyes longer.
- Early season placings like these tend to stabilize across the winter unless someone arrives substantially harder or fuller, so expect rematches to look familiar with small but meaningful changes.
