So we all should know by now (as most here are old enough) that as often as not, we can be our own literal worst enemy. 9/10 the reason X, Y or Z didn't go as planned was we f**ked up. I'm no different. I can, regardless of some of the crazy numbers in my logs, time spent on the forum replying to threads (and creating ones like this) and even time spent with Stevesmi on podcasts can easily piss away time watching YouTube videos or playing games on my phone. Ergo it's not an idea for me then to moan and bitch about the time left and I have it kinda easy now

Logs...
Now more than a few members will be guilty of the above. I see a couple this week talking about 12 hour shifts and saying they do not have time to put up a log yet have also posted multiple times in a day in a thread or created multiple threads. C'mon. If you can do the former you can 100% do the latter. What's your excuse again?

Nutrition and Meal Prepping

What about those working hard again and yet posting who then say the reason they eat fast food and other restaurant crap is they do not have time to meal prep. Yeah you do. If I cook, as I will right after this post, my evening meal in the oven it's no effort at all to cook 2x as much or two meals at one time. Ditto cooking up a storm load of chicken breasts, rice etc in a couple of hours on a Sunday morning and that's without mentioning the many (now) meal prep companies that now exists. And I'm also looking at the handful of members who have a coffee for breakfast and claim to not have time in the morning... yep you lol. Go to bed 15-minutes earlier instead of staying up late watching Netflix and get up 15 minutes earlier. Now you've time. I've done the long ass days. From Amazon work as few years back (f**k working there again) to getting up at 3.30am and working here before travelling to London for a brothers funeral. What's your excuse again?

Info and research

I've said multiple times in many podcast we've recorded that there exists now a surfeit of information (maybe even too much). More than at any time in history so far. You, the reader, have a greater access to almost every snippet of data you could possibly want. Just here on Evo you have multiple articles (top of the page links) to every aspect - training, nutrition, sarms and AAS. You have literally 100's of podcasts across multiple platforms. All for free and that's without looking elsewhere on the net. What's your excuse again?

Time to train

This one is a doozy. Not common here thank f**k. But how often do you see people claim they're kinda busy. Time for partying, pubbing and clubbing. Time to moan and bitch and post selfies on Facebook. Won't go to the gym when it's raining even though they fkin drive there. In other words they DO have time. What's their excuse again?

Even running a proper cycle

The odd newbie who 'can't afford to run a proper PCT. Or one who thinks N2Guard is expensive. Others who wont get blood work (use Stevesmis's code). We've done podcasts on budget cycles. We've talked about getting the goods together and only running a cycle when your're ready. Heck, we even addressed those who might have short notice like a modelling gig or having to re-qualify by competing again asap. But for the most part you CAN stock up slowly ahead of time (or put aside a few bucks a month towards a stack)and buy during our many offers and sales we have weekly, monthly and more by our approved sources like PSL, NapsGear and UGFreak (and more). Not just PEDs but ancillaries too. What's your excuse again?

Like I said we all do it. Life can and does bite us on the ass. Birthdays, events, stuff for the kids. It's all there for all of us. But don't put up more barriers by making excuses for stuff YOU could fix. Go get it done and be the great success we all want ya to be!

100% agree on everything here. At one point i was working full-time, studying, training muay thai 3x per week, gym 6x per week there's no excuses. i see new mothers on the beach with a newborn and 2 toddlers in the pram running like there's no tomorrow. a lot of it is mental

The excuses part always bothered me when I read them. I have a 45 minute drive into work I have a 45 minute back home after work I spend another 45 minutes with weights then another 45-60 minutes on cardio and I do this 5 days a week as well as meal prepping 1-2 days a a week, I have family like everyone else ontop of modern stress, I don't let it get in the way of my vison and the goals I have put in place.

Logging has actually helped me get better at time management as well as the replying every day with the forms for others it helps with accountability aspects.

I just think modern society has made it convenient to be lazy, why cook when fast food is on every corner, why workout it's hard it hurts, people want what is easy and comfortable and it's made society as a whole weaker and it is sad.

I just read an article that stated America is fatter now than ever before not like that is news, all you got to do is walk outside and go into a food mart or anywhere in general and you see sick people who don't even understand they are sick, society is so reliant on reactivate actions when by that time it is already to late, instead of being proactive from the start and being able to avoid all these problems in advance.

I will use my dad as an example he smoked a pack a day for many years he had a heart attack at 40 survived it, 3 of my uncles and my grandfather all dead from heart attacks and heart disease.

I am currently 35 and am I waiting around for that ? absolutely not I scheduled a CT scan of my heart which I will have done very soon this year and I got a quality cardiologist in my camp early, I feel just fine no problems, but why wait around and have it be to late one day ? I'm not going down that road I learned from the mistakes of others.

I've run one cycle I'm about to run another one in the near future, even knowing the risks that run in my family life is a choice and I still chose something that could have risks one day if I'm not smart about this, of course it is in the back of my mind but it's why I advocate for low-moderate cycles with proper blood work and time off because I still try to keep health in my mind.

I went as far as to get a quality dietitian and endocrinologist in my camp as well, why because it's smart they both run blood pannels on me multiple times a year covered by my insurance all at different times, so wether I'm on a cycle ot just my trt I always Hage bloods being pulled, I want to know good or bad so I can always be prepared for what steps I need to take next.

This is just my take on it though as others might feel differently.

The one that really gets me are the ones who wont train hard because they only got 6 hours sleep. I average less than 5 hours per night with many nights only 3 hours. In fact my best days in the gym are the ones I get only 3 hours sleep.
there are definitely people like you out there who can function on just a few hours of sleep I know I have relatives like this
however for the vast majority of us we need a solid amount of sleep or we will not be able to be at our best

also keep in mind your brain/body needs that sleep bigtime, even though physically you're able to still work out the way you want over time the short amount of sleep will definitely catch up to you because sleep is the only time your body can go into a deep repair and Recovery. there is a reason NFL players get 8-10 hours of sleep a night during season between games, atleast the guys who recovery fast. tom brady got 9 hours minimum and slept in a climate controlled bedroom with oxygen control lol. thats how serious he took it.

absolutely a log is extremely important

Literally takes five minutes or less out of your day to do that

as I mentioned on the podcast the most successful Farmers, businessmen, athletes, coaches or any other profession that requires success, logs their workday and learns from their mistakes and learns from their triumphs and that allows them to be successful.

The sleep thing is skewed somewhat. The number we aim for is 8 hours. But I'm of an age (and bodyweight) where I'll wake multiple times in a night if only for a minute or so. What matters is NOT the time - it's whether or not you're rested and recovering.

I've also said that when I worked a day job some of my best workouts was when I felt tired just before

One trick is zoning out / switching off. Again when I worked a day job I'd have a train commute. I learned to switch off almost 90%. I can do that when I travel anywhere (car etc) or if I'm stuck somewhere waiting if I need to. The brain benefits. You still need sleep too and that's both for the brain and GH/test release and body repair and recovery

Absolutely. Every single one of my logs has been in the minimum 1000's of views. My main ones are in the 10's of thousands. Not only do I do what I do but, as often as not, I explain why. Plus they end up in the 100's of pages. Proof of, if nothing else, that if you keep plugging away you'll be strong (or whatever it is you want).

And the majority here are physique targeted when I'm not (except pre shower today when I was hitting a side chest lol)

everybody should be doing a log
I've done a couple logs especially on Elite Fitness as well it's very important to do them

me too
I'm a big believer in doing a log Journal
I'm also a big believer in convincing others to do the same it's going to be the best thing for them to push themselves

mobster is 100% right
a log Journal is going to be the best way to push yourself to new heights

a lot of people make excuses to deflect responsibility from them
at the end of the day you are the one that controls what goes into your mouth and you are the one that controls your training

a log helped me win my Pro card
it's very important to do them because they will motivate you
and in Portugal we don't have excuses we have results

Just get it done. People need to remember that Your not special
Cry all you want ain't no body care !!
absolutely!!! Everyone want to play the poor me

good stuff mobster

Very well said!!! I am especially big on the concept of meal prep. You can literally cook a weeks' worth of meals in a few hours. You can cook enough chicken and veggies in like an hour that will last the week. That time includes any seasoning and putting in bins as well!

I do this every Saturday. Once you get into the habit it becomes very simple
