The day after the greatest country in the world's birthday, we had America and old school running deep into our veins.

Chest and back. Low Incline 140 dumbells/10, T-bar rows 3 plates drop set to failure.

Incline barbell 257lbs/10 superset 275lbs/10 barbell rows
Incline barbell 245lbs/10 superset 245lbs/10 barbell rows.

High Incline 60lb dumbell flies superset pull ups to failure. The old ways are the best ways. Stop trying to over complicate things and try sticking to the real basics.
bro those 140 pound dumbbells are huge - pushing some serious weight in these workouts 💪

Birthday squats not only accomplished but obliterated. Birthday squats are usually your weight and age in reps. Tomorrow, I'll be 39, and my weight is 204 lbs, but who squats 204lbs? We use plates, so 225lbs/40 reps because I had to get that one for good luck. Also, hit 405lbs/12 right after that. This is the 6th year in a row I have hit my age with 225, but this year was definitely the easiest. I don't train on Sundays, so that's why I did it today. Old, don't fold, and age is nothing but a number.

Thank god I'm not a powerlifter
But your training in a gym with high level powerlifters. I would hold my standards much higher. I challenge you to hit 405 at competition depth for 10. You’re only 40 years old. Most strong people don’t peak until mid to late 40’s. My coach didn’t peak and hit 800 on squat until he was 49 and he was natural and under 240 lbs BW.

I hit 405 to depth every ti.e I touch it. I can sit in the floor with 405 easily

This is 405/10 and look what I did on the 10th rep. I hit 405/15. My depth smokes powerlifters depth. This was 4 days ago

You’re strong as fuck. Your depth doesn’t smoke powerlifters that I train around. Just don’t sell yourself short. I would concentrate on hitting depth now while you still can. Even just lighten it up a little is ok. Need to keep all the small supporting muscles activated and stretched out will help your longevity. I believe the majority of bodybuilders think it’s bad for knees but I believe the opposite is actually true. Back when I was in my 20’s Al the way until I hit my mid 40’s I stayed away from squats because believed it was bad for my back and knees. Boy was I wrong. My back and knees got better when I started deadlifting and squatting in my late 40’s til now in my young age of 54.

You are doing much better than most which I like seeing. I think another 2 inches depth and you’re there. Many people training on here are 6 inches high.

Ya bodybuilding is definitely the way to go. For me anyways but I still keep it strong and heavy. Powerbuilding. The retired powerlifters that go to bodybuilding are monsters
That is where I’m at but I have a huge delema. I have a dream of 750 deadlift at 57 years old. That would be a WR. I think increasing my bicep size would actually hinder that dream. Need to decide what to do in the next 6-12 months if I want size or strength.

750 at your age might be dangerous bro :) stay lower weight

Today's 3:00am leg day. A little more then 2 weeks off tren. I'm running 150 test a week. Feeling great, even off the hulk juice.

Saturday's leg day. Yesterday's back day. Training is still and will always be intense. Strength is also keeping up but definitely not superhuman like when in tren.

Here we go. I had to shrink it alot
@Napa1020 this is the MOST impressive lifting belt I've seen in my life bro!! WOW! you're a winner with this kind of belt unreal.
It's like from a movie.
just goes with your amazing lifting size :)

a music are you jamming to on your headphones
that's what we want to see

I'm not a fan of lifting with belts
no need unless you're doing super heavy weight

for sure leave the belt with the ladies
you don't want to end up needing a purse with it
