Id actually cut a few sets over time will he hard to sustain and you will get brunt out, its nonlinear, one day you will go in or wake up and nust constantly feel exhausted, lactic acid builds quicker and cortisol shoots up, for brief building blocks high volume is great, learn hour body and when to back off, will help you in the future for gains over time.

For sure. I’m in the processing of figuring this out now. Yesterday I got to lift mid morning so I had more energy but I was wiped out after. Ive been slowly dropping weight and trying to more reps. I’m doing back now and I’m not going hard or deadlifts.

overall feel is what? energy in the gym? sleep?
Overall I still feel pretty good with the exception that my body is missing carbs. I started eating a 1000-1200 calorie frozen pizza the last 2 Sundays to kind of refeed myself to start the next week. Overall I still try to stay under 3500 calories and closer to 3000 everyday. On Sunday I really just trade some protein for carbs and I can immediately tell a difference.

Gym energy has been fine I think. It’s a little harder to stay focused do to lack of carbs but it’s ok. I’m actually getting stronger/gaining some size because my lifts are going up and my weight/waist is going down. Sleep has been ok. I slept on the wrong pillow a couple nights in a row so I’m correct my morning neck pain by being more careful how I set my head on the pillow.

@motterbug can we do a clean carb up? lets say white rice and chicken breast, try to get you down some bodyfat
you want to recomp a bit leaner towards end of year right?

the pillow situation all the time hits my neck, part of being big lol

2 month update since I started the log.
Weight as of yesterday was 213.4. Cardio has been cut down from 5 miles per day to 2 due to it being cold af out now. I’m probably going to add in 100mg nandrolone next time I see the doc. I’m going to be in recomp mode probably until winter is over.

You're looking really good 2 months in, impressive look and you're leaning out nicely.

I squatted 275 for 7 on my last set of legs yesterday which I haven’t done in a while. I don’t have a max but I remember doing 355 8 times once but I was a lot younger. I’ll get back there eventually.
275 is enough, its not about weight its about quality ATG :D
 
I’m posting my dexa results anyway but last time the machine weighed me with a gown and briefs this time the weight that was used was the 215.6 from the hallway scale which included jeans, belt, button down shirt, and size 14 Nike shoes. Last time my hallway weight was 224 and change.

Gonna continue to recomp until it gets warmer. I’ll add a food log either tomorrow or this weekend.

For sure. I’m still making progress so I am getting better. I’m feeling stronger again since I’ve dropped my reps back down from 15 down to 10. I pressed 95lb dumbbells on my last set this week.
 
My first goal was 12% but 10 eventually.

I think it’s closer to 20% but yes. My weight was manually input 3lbs higher than it should have been.
We should plan for 10% and get to 12% and work down :) you have the potential

The 1/4 cow I just finished was probably 85/15. I’m eating 93/7 now from the store since it’s cheaper. I bought a 20lb mix of some sirloin, chicken and turkey today.

Yes. My daily target calories is going to be 3500 with atleast 2lbs of meat products. I’m continuing to get more strength back every week since I stopped the mini cut I did and I’m enjoying it. I’ll probably do another cut around March or April.
 
I haven’t put up a food journal in a while but this picture will probably be about 7 days of meat. 4lbs ground beef. 3.4lbs turkey. 1.3lbs chicken(eating this now) 5.36lbs sirloin. This is roughly 14lbs of meat and I eat minimum 2lbs per day. I typically snack on berries through out the week. Strawberry’s are roughly $5lb when they’re normally $2.50lb so I haven’t been buying them lately but they’re my favorite snack since 1lb is only like 80 calories. Normally I’ll eat a can of vegetables with dinner and lunch. I’ve started to drink protein shakes before bed just to have something in my stomach because I’ll wake up if I’m too hungry or won’t be able to go sleep. Chocolate muscle milk has been the flavor of the month.

Just be careful with these vegetables out of cans.
A lot of times they're very low quality and they might add stuff to them like preservatives.
 
Yeah for sure. Try and get fresh fruits and vegetables.

And make sure there are organic very important.
 
Just watch out with that Muscle Milk. It has a lot of junk in it.

If you want to switch to something similar, get some raw milk instead. And you can add some raw honey to it.

Snack=280 (banana and protein protein bar)

Lunch=1100 (1lb lean ground beef and jasmine rice)

Pre workout= 80 (banana)

Dinner=1170 (3 beef burritos)

Total=3460 calories

@LevButlerov I can start adding chicken in a couple months. I have a freezer full of beef I need to go through first. I can substitute some burrito shells for vegetables though. I’ll post another physique update in a month or 2.
