I like those spinning air fryers.

It really cooks the food evenly.

You should try chicken wings in the air fryer. It tastes really good.
Just add some salt and pepper and paprika. And then, sprinkle some lime.

haha i like how now you are eating right on top of your keyboard.

thats hardcore!

Good workout session, cardio and triceps are on point.

I like how you mix up the arms together.

A lot of people like to do that these days.

That I bad idea to keep your portions small pack it up and save it for the next day.

As long as you can tolerate Dairy, okay, it's good, but make sure it as raw as possible.
You want high quality Dairy, not the cheap kind

Hey @caligirl85 , I didn't understand what you mean... I did meal prep last Sunday and cooked 1200 grams of beef and 1000 grams of chicken breast to eat it all till Thursday, Salad and nuts I can just take out of the pack and eat. Since everyone has been telling me that I need to lower the carbs, I am limiting alot of other stuff as well. What I got for today is just 250 gram of chicken breast and that's it.

Oh I love dairy! I don't know about eggs I always get em fresh but I think it's impossible to get "good quality and raw" dairy in the west... back home I could just milk a cow or a buffalo at a farm (friend or family) and that taste, quality and thickness just can't be beat! Hahaha so true!
Air fryer is definitely the best.
It always works great.

I love cooking my food in the air fryer! The one I have is kindda like an oven so it always does the food evenly, I just have to make sure the meat is not too think so it's cooked all the way thru.
Yes I have tried chicken wings in the air fryer, I love them with rice and some nandos hot sauce on top. But since I am staying away from rice I am not even getting any chicken wings - I will grab some this weekend once I go to get groceries since now I am craving chicken wings lol

hahaha yeah I have learnt from my mistakes and haven't spilled my food on my key board for over a year - hopefully I don't jinx it myself.
Good workout session, cardio and triceps are on point.
Thankyou sir!

Yeah I like to shuffle up the exercises when I can - when i just feel an exercise wasn't as good last week I just change it up and I am pretty open with my workouts and not super strict with the choice of movement I do like so many people, that gives me the flexibility to move around the gym and swap an exercise if certain machine or weights are occupied.

It is February 5th today, I thought I should share the weight update here as well. My 1st post was January 6th and that day I had weighed in at 106kgs. on Jan 8th I weighed in at 104.8kgs.

Today, Feb 5th, I weighed in at 101.8kgs:
1738771304394.webp

Over the period of a month I have even touched 108kgs and have posted that here as well. But if I look at the trajectory of my graph, I think it's going down and I am on a good path.

The lowest I weighed in right before the lockdowns was 81kgs (January 2020) - This (today) is the lowest I have weighted in since January 2022. I am hoping to go below 97kgs end of February.

Your inputs would be greatly appreciated!

I don't think I will be eating anything else, but if I did, I will munch on 40 grams of almonds and 40 grams of walnuts.

Lunch after jujitsu today:

250gram chicken breast cooked in olive oil with some cesar dressing (no sugar)
I might be misreading but your macros you showed had very low fat and higher protein than fat. Those ratios wont allow ketogenic states.
Right now you need to get fat higher than protein to start, once you're in deep ketosis you can modify this. @zucchini

You foods look good though, I like sugar free foods.

@LevButlerov I don't think you saw this post. NPC gave his input, would like yours too. Do you still prefer if I am on keto hard over how it has been so far? (I know you said not to weigh myself everyday but I did today, and it was 101.3)

I might have missed his post for sure. I think at your size and goals a ketogenic approach can work well. :D

Even when I am already down about 5 kilos in a month? with Keto we can lose more? more effectively? more efficiently?
Sure, and remember you're not down 5kgs of bodyfat, you lost a ton of water weight and bodyfat as well. And yes a ketogenic diet which you're close to can help you shred a lot more bodyfat. :D

Yep.
Fiber is too low, add psyllium husk please you need to up the fiber.
I am taking husk everyday, not skipping out on probiotics, omega and husk. it's just that I do not log them in the app.
Morning munchies:

Legs workout today:

Leg extensions: 1x9 2x12 1x10 160lbs
Hack squats: 3x8 180lbs on the machine
Leg press: 3x8 450lbs on the machine
Leg press calves extensions: 3x21 270lbs on the machine

Seated leg curls: 1x12 150lbs, 2x12 160lbs (last two reps were partials)

Felt super tired today cause of the work week and the gloomy cold weather. Didn't get as much done and didn't feel like i was that active.

Yeah, thats a poor choice on my part for sure as this was a conscious decision... I should have left the potatoes and that bread just like i left the ketchup and those sugary dips.
That will keep you out of ketosis, probably the reason you're not in ketosis. But we will get there 1 step at a time as a big EVO family. we support you :D

I felt like changing up my workout schedule so it was a back workout today:

Assisted pullups machine was hogged up my a romantically awkward couple who wouldn't give it up so I moved on.
Bent over barbell rows: 2x10 135lbs 2x10 155lbs 1x12 155lbs
Dumbbell rows: 2x10 1x12 75lbs each side
Cable pulldowns: 2x10 170 lbs 1x10 187lbs
Seated wide cable rows: 3x10 187lbs

Treadmill: 15 mins. 1st 10 mins were 6 incline 3 speed ending 5 were 7 incline 3 speed.

Felt super strong all through the workout today even thou was tired n busy at work and the past weekend.
In addition to this, my kickboxing session today was good as well - core exercises and movements combined with alot of low intensity cardio.

My lunch was only my protein shake. Busy days so couldn't take a picture of my shaker cup at the time 😂

Home now and munching on beef - and drinking the husk water. Will get some Almonds and walnuts in.

The air fryer is definitely a great option.

That's good that you're learning, how to use it.

Just be careful with those sauces.
You can turn a healthy meal into not healthy.

I'm sure milking animals no different than milking yourself,

if you know what I mean.

Bros. That's cool. That's your milking, whatever your milky.

Do those animals like being milked?
I think the dairy industry is cruel. If you ask me. I don't like the way they treat the animals.

haha I can't read the cow's mind but the animals (husbandry) I had (and friends had) seem to love staying close, come over when you call them, don't hesitate or push back even a little bit when you milk them. We don't put animals on the milking machines, we bathe them ourselves, they are almost always roaming free on the land with their calves... it's a different kind of bonding with those animals to be honest atleast in the eastern countries... I do agree that it's not the same here in the west.

if you know what I mean.

Oh I am pretty sure it's different 😂

Air fried chicken wings is the best.
They really come out nice and crispy.

That food looks sensational.

I'm gonna have to copy that recipe.
I am mostly just putting in random seasonings and panfrying the food. A bunch of other one is just air fryed and that helps alot especially on a day like today when i am going over 3 workouts (jujitsu + lifting + swimming).
Just be careful with those sauces.
You can turn a healthy meal into not healthy.

I am only using sugar free sauces. ketchup is always sugar free so 1tbsp (15ml) is 5 calories with only 1 gram of carb.
the hot sauce is nandos hot sauce, 1 spoon is 3 calories with 0 carbs no sugar.

Yeah, I have really good experiences with chicken and air fryer.

I think that's the best way to make them.

Naah man. I asked them twice, once when i was starting out and once when i was done my barbell rows.
2nd time the girl looked at me like she was gonna throw a fit 😂
I always ask, never assume. And when people ask me, i always let them jump in n use the weights with me.

the wings in the dinner are with what sauce bro? or is that just sugar free ketchup they cooked in
thats fine on the fiber part no issues
Wings were cooked in 150 grams of nashville hot sauce. Total 3gram carbs and 22 calories 1gram/100 gram sugar from the sauce. Already accounted for in the wings calorie counter. They were tossed in the sauce and just airfried
The ketchup on the side was just 1 tb spoon of sugerfree heinz.

lets try it 36 hour fast bro
start it and update us
I couldn't do it...
I started feeling lethargic and hungry...

I had some chicken cooked in crushed tomatoes and yogurt with oliveoil. had my husk in water as well.

That's 23 gram carbs from Husk, 5 from Yogurt, 4 from spices and 4 from tomatoes. I am all out of walnuts or I would have had 50 grams of those.

how long did you last bro? @zucchini

also you ever try semaglutide or other GLP-1 peptides?

fast lasted a total of 25 hours, during this time all I had was water.
I know what semaglutide is, but I have never used it.
@zucchini 25 hours is OMAD very good start to fasting bro
but semaglutide can help you control your appetite, you have cravings issues?

I really do not think I would have a problem with OMAD - I have done it in the past, I have done 4-20 intermittent fasting where I'd have about 150 protein, 90-110 carbs and 50 fat, did it for a month and lost 7kgs.
The only cravings I ever have are on the weekends or if I've had clean food for over 7-10 days straight, for icecream and saucy fast food...
I am also pretty sure I cannot get semaglutide over the counter here in Canada and doctors are just a bunch of pussies

lets start testing OMAD just 1 meal every 24 hours, can we do that bro? ;)

and on the semaglutide I'm sure one of our sources like @pur-pharma-canada or @Nordic Fusion can hook you up @zucchini

We can experiment with OMAD no problem... But thinking if it'd be a good idea to try it from the beginning of next month? since what we are on is currently working and i don't want to leave it in the middle?
Also, if I do OMAD, what should my macros look like? Carbs good with it, or it still have to be clean clean protein and fat only?
