I was a little disappointed i couldn't beat my pb on the Bulgarian squat or the hack squat this week but i did break a pb on leg press 160kgs so im happy but not satisfied 😂
Leg press at 160kgs is a good jump and shows the work is paying off even if the other lifts didn’t move this week. Bulgarian and hack will come back around, sometimes one lift stalls while another moves. Keep the form tight, chase good reps, and those pbs will fall soon enough. Being happy but not satisfied is the right mindset, it keeps you hungry without losing sight of progress. :D

Hey legends! Been busy crying my ass off at work funeral then a family funeral straight after...thats enough crying time to move on!

So training has been good im breaking pbs in some and others im unable to move up in weight. So ill take the positive im still moving forward and progressing in weights just not extactly where i want it atm so ill be patient.

It's completely understandable to feel that way. It's a cruel paradox that when you're most stressed and in need of a break, those are the times when you feel you have the least amount of time to step away and take care of yourself. Be kind to yourself; finding that balance is one of the hardest parts of adult life.

Huge jump from 10 x 120 to 5 x 210. I like pbs but would have worked you harder on the 120

210kg is a crazy amount of weight. amazing how far you have come. from dad bod to ripped and so damn strong! @FluffyBunny

its always a good idea not to push too heavy @FluffyBunny sometimes you have to be your own worst enemy and sometimes we push ourselves beyond what we're capable of and we end up setting ourselves back.

So i had a bit of scare yesterday i rushed my chest work out before work i felt like i a torn my left chest when i doing incline dumbells too fast too heavy. So i stopped as soon as i felt the the pain in my left chest went to work and rested. I made sure the next day after a good sleep i went in early to give myself enough time to warm up i trained shoulders today i dropped weight below my pb to play safe today i actually enjoyed the work out and was so happy i could conitue training. Here is training of chest, nutrition, and in action cable flys.

Good call stopping when you felt that pain. The incline dumbbell strain could have been worse, so backing off and coming back lighter with a full warmup was the right move. I would pause upper body work for 1 week and deload. @FluffyBunny

@FluffyBunny make sure you are warming up beforeheand. It's not something people do enough of in the gym. And even just as important after your workout. Make sure you stretch out those muscles as well.

Yeah, definitely be careful there. I've seen plenty of chest tears over the years. @FluffyBunny They are very dangerous. You could be out a long time.
