Hey fellas, while in Vegas I notice my good friend looks to have some gyno. He's done many cycles, nothing really over the top and he used AI during the cycle period and after. I know he uses proscar and he's been on it for at least 10 years. I told him to see his doctor since I think it's coming from that. What's your thoughts? And I just read online that Letro can reverse it, true? Even though he's going to the doctor, I'm asking you guys since they mostly give vanilla answers. Thanks

Awesome! What would you suggest? I wanted to take a picture if it to show you guys but he wouldn't let me. It's not bad but since being on the forum, I've researched what gyno looks like.

If your friend does decide to go with letro. Take 2.5mg per day for 6 weeks, run it for another week or two if needed. Tell your friend if he does use letro to not touch or rub his nipples while on it.

There are far better alternatives. IF the gyno is unbound letro will do absolutely nothing for him. PS, running letro for 6 weeks at 2.5mg a day is complete insanity.

It speeds up the healing process if you do not touch them. Thats why it takes a bit longer for somepeople to get rid of it because they constantly touch and squeeze there nipples because their curious if their getting better but their really just irritating them.

This. and yes seems like he might be trying to save face and is lying that he ran something. Either way he is seeing a doctor so if the results come back with very high estrogen then letro would be a good choice or like felicity said there are other good alternatives that are less harsh

I already did but he was already dumbfounded by you advising him to take Letrozole for 6 weeks. Bad advice triumphs good advice when given. You essentially gave him what he thinks will be a short term fix with no repercussions which is precisely what everyone wants to hear. Its not always as easy as just taking a pill.

Definitely, from what ive seen, his "friend" could really be "him" lol. Nonetheless, I would never advise letro in most circumstances. There are even better alternatives to rid long-term gyno issues.
