Ach I hit Post Reply when I added you Lev.
I added your drop set recommendation to each functional set as a mean of hitting that intensity button while keeping the volume reasonable. I absolutely loved the enhanced burn and pump from a peel-a-plate style of drop set at the end of each set. I kept the form clean without a lot of extra body English and allowed ROM to work its way down as fatigue builds and performance drops.
Lower volume, better pump and muscle activation on each set
