Man the DOMs are so serious after not training for a few weeks. Chest was sore AF this morning from training 2 days ago and my back was sore as hell too from yesterday. Can't complain though cuz it definitely beats not lifting and it just means I hit my target muscles well. Even my biceps are feeln it.

Training again has been such a pleasure. So grateful to be healthy and feeling strong again. Even work was like training yesterday. It was a demo day so no thinking, just a lot of cutting, smashing, and pulling. Fun day.

The weights feel like they're moving better and better each session. Almost like my body is remembering how to lift heavier or somethn. Maybe it similar to a heavy warmup and my CNS system is getting more and more engaged again.

Ordered in Mexican last night and my fats got a bit high cuz I had a bunch of guacamole. Consider it my cheat meal for the week lol

We are very similar in our sleep, my deep and rem is literally perfect now too, finally settled into this cycle.
I find I cant sleep much past 7 hours, my body wont allow it, you the same or just life gets in the way?
Oh no I can sleeeeep bro lol. I gotta set alarms on weekends so I don't sleep too much. I'll sleep for like 9-10 hours if you let me but then I wake up feeling like shit. I usually set an alarm for 8.5hrs on the weekends. That's my sweet spot to make up for the sleep debt and not feel crappy in the morning

True..it's just our government has fucked my generation pretty badly lol. They've made a total mess of the country and done very little good for people who aren't boomers. I'm not a boomer basher by any means. Its just our government playcated them because they're such a large voter base and everything the government did hurt the next generations. Atleast they legalized THC and CBD for the young people and they actually did a decent job of managing it after a while. The producers complain that the safety standards are too strict which sounds like a good thing for the end user. I appreciate that

You'd think that. But we rank the worst in the G7 for things like housing affordability, wage increases, productivity, healthcare outcomes vs money spent. Its really bad up here but you guys never really hear about it cuz we're pretty insignificant on the world stage.

The idea most Americans have of Canada is how it was like 20 years ago. Its changed a lot since then and not in a good way.

It got delivered late and I just dove right in I was so hungry.

Yea day 2 the chest was really feeling it and my back was sore from yesterdays session. Felt like the tin man when I rolled outta bed lol. Loosened up as the day progresses tho and I hit chest a bit tonight no prob.

First day back on some real training. I was going to lower my volume but I'm sure I can handle it. Running my weights at between 80-90% of where I was at before I got sick. Gotta admit, not being in cycle and coming off sickness two of the 90% sets were actual technical failure sets.

Felt amazing having a real pump again and seeing my body hasn't turned into a soft mess with all this time off.

My lower lats were sore right away last night and my chest is lit up today. Gonna have to get used to the DOMS again but that's all part of the game. Feels great to be sore again.

Recovery is still good, but sleep has been a little off the last couple nights. For some reason I keep waking up early. Not like me at all, not a morning person. I'm waking up 30mins before my alarm goes off and I'm wide awake ready to start my day. Weird.

Your T and deca dose are quite low. Was the point for the tren to do the heavy hitting?

I can see @2Thick ’s point possibly in the context of how far the US has fallen and it’s going fall further and faster too, I think.

Everybody down here is fighting over mostly fake stuff and the real problems are much scarier. I think things are going to get a lot harder here before anything changes and it has been inevitable for at least fifty years

Yea the Tren was supposed to do all the work and I was looking to get a clear picture of how I respond to it. Gonna add it back in now that I'm back at steady peak health and my body is feeling strong.

The deca is only there for my old bashed up knees. All the supplements I take for joint health and when the cold hits, they do nothing. Deca really helps tho. No pain at all
 
And scrapping, huh? I used to get a lot of scrap, rebuilding whole towns.

Yea lots of scrap. Each year I probably cash in somewhere between 5-7k in scrap, all cash. This was a thin storey home and I'll probably get a few hundred bucks outta it.

We're worse in every metric that I mentioned. Pretty much anything that matters we rank in or around the bottom in the G7

Canada just signed an agreement to possibly open a free trade deal with China...like huh?? The world is turning upside down. It was probably always gonna happen, but Trump trying to turn America back into the world's factory probably sped things up. Shoulda stuck with endless wars, building technology, and printing money. Doesn't sound good either way really

Idk man. I suppose it all depends on who you are and where you live. I don’t think Libya was too enthused with American hegemony.

I don’t know if Russia had been very aggressive before the line was crossed with Ukraine. But it all depends on who you listen to and what you believe. And then there’s the truth. Whatever that is

Lol ya who even knows. I'm sure we'll find out some of what's really happening 50 years from now.

I'm still waiting for a good documentary exposing what really was happening with COVID and the vaccines.

Only took a few years for Loose Change to come out after 911 so I thought we'd have something by now.

Another great all around day. Strength is progressively coming back. I'm pushing up much closer to my on cycle numbers and my recovery is holding strong. All health metrics are looking good. Its official, I'm restarting my cycle this weekend.

Its been 29 days since I hopped off with that brutal flu and my body finally feels ready to dive back in. Been patiently waiting for the right time and it's finally come

Yesterdays session I was feeling strong so I dialed up to 90% of my cycle weight loading. Chest I had to hold at 80% because I was still a bit sore from chest day 2 days before, but it felt great pressing. Triceps are feeling it today but the DOMs are getting less and less with each session. My body is adapting to the training again.

Appetite is still way up so hitting my macros with ease. Libido is sky high right now too. Curious to see how much higher these two things might get when I add the Tren back in lol.

At this point I don't he'd mind. He'll see this post sooner than later and I think he'll agree I've been a good boy with my time off. If not I'll just make sure I pin before I read my log tomorrow LOL!!!

I did push up my training faster than he woulda liked but I do have the benefit of my whoop tracker and all the data to confirm my health was holding strong. If I hit any bumps along the way I'd have slowed down but my body is definitely primed in a way it's never been before. Its been more than 3 years since I've taken time off like that and my body has really responded well to the break. Its been a good learning experience.

Canada is never going to be in a great situation. You have to import a lot of your stuff. Most of Canada is rural and desolate and it gets super cold, which really makes it a tough place to live. Human beings are not supposed to live in those types of climates. There is a reason you see so many Canadian tourists in tropical locations during the winter. They want to get away from that.

The thing about Canada is we're rich in all the important natural resources. Oil, gas, lumber, minerals, lithium, everything the world needs to function. We were and still should be a wealthy country, but our government has made it impossible for companies to even work here. Most projects take over 10 years to start, and that's if they even get approval. The amount of investment in Canada has been on the steady decline for years now, and like you said our population is small so without that investment our economy suffers. Couple that with the fact that our productivity levels from that lack of investment are so low and you end up with stagnant wages and GDP. Its bad.

I think someone like you would think a whoop strap is worth its weight in gold. The amount of detail you get is unmatched. The user interface is so good to you'd be a pro at using it right away. I've been wearing my for 5 years now, with a streak of 976 days of unbroken tracking. I can look back on any day right now and compare health metrics.

Where it's especially good is for sleep like you mentioned. I find it much more accurate than my other sleep trackers. Its what helped me the most in maximizing my sleep quality over time.

Its also great for adding or removing supps and seeing how your body is responding. Tracking trends in the metrics you're trying to improve via supplementation is so easy with this thing.

You can also now load in your bloodwork too and have all you lab work right there in the UI for quick comparison.

Its such a useful tool for anyone who's looking for actual data to follow for improving training, recovery, diet, supps, or sleep. Instead of just seeing how you feel, you have hard numbers and trends to follow.

They say if you’ve already trained your body once it’s a lot easier to get back. Seems like within a couple weeks you’re damn near there. Welcome back!
Mentally it was rough on the beginning. Coming right off Tren and being sick probably didn't help. But ya not being able to train at the beginning was tough..but then theres almost an acceptance that happens and you're like ok this is what I gotta do and it goes away.

The real tough part is when you're sorta healthy again and trying to control the urge to not train hard. I had to come up with a pre programmed training session to keep myself in check. I set the weight and reps and did nothing more. That way I don't get hyped up in the moment and keep pushing.

It does come back very quick, so you don't need to worry about that

Couple that with the fact that our productivity levels from that lack of investment are so low and you end up with stagnant wages and GDP. Its bad.
Sounds like Aus. Take away our mining and we're screwed. And we don't make anywhere near as much off that as we should. It goes to billionaires and multi-nationals.

I just looked it up: of all the G7 countries, Canada remains the highest ranked in terms of happiness. But seems like the younger people are not happy. I think a lot of that has to do with cost of living issues that can really make it tough. It's definitely an age gap thing. It's the same thing in America. So I do agree that you younger folks definitely have a raw deal and the older generations got lucky because they own so much wealth, which has appreciated.

Whoa don't get me confused bro. I love Canada, I hate our government lol. They've made some major policy shifts that actual everyday Canadians are feeling the pain from. I'm used to government doing what they do and we read about it in the news, but it doesn't really effect our day to day so much right. Not anymore.

Happiness? How can someone even gauge that lol. There's a place in Siberia that's ranked the happiest place on earth but the people have nothing and suffer through some of the harshest winter conditions. They are happy with that, would you be? Happiness is so relative. Its not a real metric to gauge a country by. Stupid unaware people are some of the happiest on the planet. "Ignorance is bliss" as they say. If you have a dumb uninformed population you have a happy one lol.

Personally, I'm very happy and very blessed. So I would respond yes I'm happy on a survey. Am I happy with what I see going on around me and the direction our country is heading in, no I'm not. That's why I try to just focus on the stuff I can do myself and avoid worrying about what I have no control of. Doesn't mean I won't have an opinion on it tho. I just won't let it bring bring me down

Another successful step building back up to my pre illness self. I dialed up the intensity a bit and my body seemed to handle it well. My recovery is still sky high today. Strength is still down a bit but thats totally understandable considering I was on cycle and now I'm not.

This coming week I'm going to start training with full intensity again. This time around I won't be pushing every set to failure. Maybe 1 set per movement to outright failure and the other sets within 2RIR. We'll see how I feel and how my recovery goes.

Naw my wife was the cause of that excitement LOL. Went for a while last night and I lost a good chunk of sleep lol

Yea my wife makes amazing Yorkshire puddings. She took my mom's recipe but then modified with some tricks she saw from Gordon Ramsey talking about his mom's recipe. Its tough not to eat the entire pan cuz I love them so much. I allowed myself 1 extra last night

Both our major parties pretty much just cater to the rich / big business. When they try and introduce a tax on mining, the mining companies threaten to walk away (go on I dare ya) and then the government buckles (usually due to propaganda regarding the loss of jobs etc).

We have heaps of resources but the people don't actually get much from it. Countries like Norway have these massive sovereign wealth funds. We have one but it pales in comparison. I know a deal was done ages ago that means we are practically giving away our natural gas.

Oops I adjusted the ancillaries but not the Tren on my list. I picked back up where I left off at 40mg. 40ed feels like a low dose for me in terms of the effects it has on my body. Its barely noticeable.

I'm not gonna go extra hard in the gym this go around. I think that contributed to my illness last time. Thinking I could push every set of every movement to failure just cuz I was on Tren lol. This time I'm gonna train normally and see how it goes.

The bar is very low for better this time lol. Let's hope so.

Think I may need to look into adding some immune system support supplements to my stack this time.

Mentally it was rough on the beginning. Coming right off Tren and being sick probably didn't help. But ya not being able to train at the beginning was tough..but then theres almost an acceptance that happens and you're like ok this is what I gotta do and it goes away.

The real tough part is when you're sorta healthy again and trying to control the urge to not train hard. I had to come up with a pre programmed training session to keep myself in check. I set the weight and reps and did nothing more. That way I don't get hyped up in the moment and keep pushing.

It does come back very quick, so you don't need to worry about that

What are you going in for?
Having to stop cold turkey vs mentally preparing for it are probably two different scenarios.

I have a bad sciatica that runs down my left leg. It doesn’t like me standing or walking. Working the shit out of my self at the gym is no problem though. Make it make sense!

I’m looking to have an endoscopic surgery where they go in by way of two tiny tubes (no laceration) just a matter of time and I’ll have to take a seat on the bench too.

Nice update! I just noticed Tren is really the meat and potatoes of your cycle. 40mg ED?

Your macros look good too! That’s some eating. I only seem to hover in the 250,250,100 range.

What app are you using for your workouts. Is that what help set your baseline?
 
I think someone like you would think a whoop strap is worth its weight in gold. The amount of detail you get is unmatched. The user interface is so good to you'd be a pro at using it right away. I've been wearing my for 5 years now, with a streak of 976 days of unbroken tracking. I can look back on any day right now and compare health metrics.

Interesting. I guess if you're earning more than the interest you're paying on the deficit spending it makes sense.

All we have is debt LOL. Ever dollar collected in sales tax in our entire country services only the interest payments on our debt LOL. We have a 13% sales tax on EVERYTHING, even services.

Endo surgeries are nice bro. You're in AUS right so it's totally covered?

Sounds like you just need to run or carry heavy things only and you're good to go. Who needs surgery lol

The recovery time is pretty short on those types of surgeries right. It should be easier at the start cuz you know you can't train no matter what. The self control when you're healing will be the tough part. Just channel that energy into your physio and you should be golden bro

Yea the Tren is doing all the work. I really wanted to try it basically by itself to get a handle on how my body responds to different doses. I started at 25mg EOD and moved up from there. Even at 40mg I don't feel super androgenic or anything yet. Just mild improvements in the gym but adding size is really easy.

I use the RP Hypertrophy app and yes it will program an entire training cycle for you and sometimes I follow it. Other times I use it just as a normal training app and do my own thing

Haha it's easy to sell something you really believe in. I tried selling stuff before and I was terrible lol.

The battery life it great on this thing. I charge it once every 2 weeks if that. It had this little battery pack thing you click onto the strap to charge it so you never have to take it off. I wear a Garmin watch too and I've had that go dead on me a couple times cuz I forgot to charge it LOL. The whoop never dies though.

I'd recommend the whoop MG. Buy once cry once. That way you don't realize there's some feature you wish you had down the line and regret it. It has so many more cool features it would take me forever to list them. Whoop healthspan for biological age tracking, Afib detection, beta version of the BP monitoring, it goes on and on. You should watch a YouTube break down on it so you can see the UI and stuff.

I'm kinda pot committed at this point tho bro. I've already pinned 40mgs 3 times already. Feeling good so far. Recovery is still very strong and BP is holding good. Only some mild indigestion today after lunch but I was doing a lot of climbing and crouching.

I take Betaine HCL and pepsin. ACV only of things start acting up. Then famotidine if I get heart burn.

Yesterdays indigestion was very minor. Might not even be the Tren cuz it will happen on occasion..I ate my lunch pretty quick cuz I had to get back to work.

Man the DOMs are so serious after not training for a few weeks. Chest was sore AF this morning from training 2 days ago and my back was sore as hell too from yesterday. Can't complain though cuz it definitely beats not lifting and it just means I hit my target muscles well. Even my biceps are feeln it.

Training again has been such a pleasure. So grateful to be healthy and feeling strong again. Even work was like training yesterday. It was a demo day so no thinking, just a lot of cutting, smashing, and pulling. Fun day.

The weights feel like they're moving better and better each session. Almost like my body is remembering how to lift heavier or somethn. Maybe it similar to a heavy warmup and my CNS system is getting more and more engaged again.

Ordered in Mexican last night and my fats got a bit high cuz I had a bunch of guacamole. Consider it my cheat meal for the week lol

I'm taking elderberry everyday prophylactically and I'm actually gonna throw in some echinacea just to be safe. Go on, have a laugh lol. I figure it can't hurt and anything that might help boost my immune system to avoid getting sick is worth a shot.

It was new toy day in my home gym yesterday. I got a crazy one day Black Friday deal on the Bells of Steel Shoulder Boulder rack mount machine. It was 30% off even tho the thing was on pre-sale and wasn't supposed to ship til the end of March. Too good a deal to pass up so I bought it, forgot about it, and suprise it showed up 2 months early. I can do lat raises, pec flies, read delt flies, front raises, and shoulder press with this machine. Pretty good bang for buck as it's really well designed and super smooth.

Back to the cycle, everything is going really well still apart from this sore throat. I think it's from the dusty ass jobsite I've been working on. Training is progressing steadily.

Sleep has been shit the last 2 nights. One of my pups has some skin thing going on and he's on a course of oral antibiotics. Its messing with the poor guys stomach and sleep, so my sleep too.

On the bright side recovery has been amazing lately. Dunno how it's been so good with my lack of sleep quality and cardio, but I'll take it. As long as my body stay primed like this I'm gonna keep pushing the progression.

Dinner last night was beef fajitas. Had to skip the avocado and sour cream cuz my fat was already too high.

I'm still not even convinced myself lol.

I'm gonna keep bumping up the dose a little bit more I've yet to hit a point where I feel really good or strong. If nothing improves at the higher doses I think it will the be the last time I run Tren high. Going forward I'd probably add it in at 20-25mg ED just for the weight and fullness.

It was new toy day in my home gym yesterday. I got a crazy one day Black Friday deal on the Bells of Steel Shoulder Boulder rack mount machine. It was 30% off even tho the thing was on pre-sale and wasn't supposed to ship til the end of March. Too good a deal to pass up so I bought it, forgot about it, and suprise it showed up 2 months early. I can do lat raises, pec flies, read delt flies, front raises, and shoulder press with this machine. Pretty good bang for buck as it's really well designed and super smooth.

Back to the cycle, everything is going really well still apart from this sore throat. I think it's from the dusty ass jobsite I've been working on. Training is progressing steadily.

Sleep has been shit the last 2 nights. One of my pups has some skin thing going on and he's on a course of oral antibiotics. Its messing with the poor guys stomach and sleep, so my sleep too.

On the bright side recovery has been amazing lately. Dunno how it's been so good with my lack of sleep quality and cardio, but I'll take it. As long as my body stay primed like this I'm gonna keep pushing the progression.

Dinner last night was beef fajitas. Had to skip the avocado and sour cream cuz my fat was already too high.

Lol thankfully I'm indoors for the next little while so just dust instead of snow to deal with. Drywall and wood dust everywhere. MDF dust really messes with my throat for some reason. I hate that stuff.

I sure hope it isn't the Tren cuz if this turns into illness again I'm done with this shit LOL.

You never "need" a new piece of gym equipment. But you can explain it in a way where you definitely need it. Luckily for me I got this thing so damn cheap it was too good a deal to miss. $290 all in shipped to my door. It runs on sealed bearings with bronze bushings, super smooth. Amazing bang for buck

The Tren is feeling the same as when I left off. Mild improvement in the gym if any, but the scale is moving again and my muscles look way more full.

I do have a crazy sore throat, but I don't think it's from the Tren. I've been working on a really dusty jobsite the past couple days and I'm aleays really sensitive to that stuff. No other symptoms so I think I'm ok.

I'm taking elderberry everyday prophylactically and I'm actually gonna throw in some echinacea just to be safe. Go on, have a laugh lol. I figure it can't hurt and anything that might help boost my immune system to avoid getting sick is worth a shot.

Well I barely got 4 weeks before I had to shut down before. So I'm thinking 8-12. I really don't know at this point though. I have bloodwork scheduled in the beginning of March, and that will determine a lot.

I'm also not sure if I'll even continue on like this. I think maybe I'm willing to take the Tren as high as 50mg ED to see if I get the benefits from it but if I don't even feel great at that level I think I'll just shut it down. I got a bunch of Anadrol sitting around so maybe I'll just run that for a month or so instead and drop the Tren back to like 20mg ED.
 
Vaping caused me sore throat many times. That’s the only reason I was able to quit it. Once I knew for sure that was it because it kept happening and didn’t matter what type, I just had to stop. Very painful.
Yea the vaping is making it worse for sure. Anytime I get a sore throat I wonder why I vape. Stupid

I don't think the extra GH will help..it's just cuz I have to wake up to take my dog out cuz he's sick. Just the waking up and going outside is messing with my sleep quality and quantity.

Carbs over 500 shouldn't be a problem. Not sure why I was that little bit short that day.

I try to only let my fats get high if recovery is slumping or I'm just eating a sorta cheat meal. The rest of the time I wanna keep not around 100-120. I think that's a good balanced amount for me.

Another 8 -12 sounds good, but yeah If your not feeling great then agreex shut it down.

you can get fats higher 1-2 times per week easy with refeed days @BeMe you're lean enough

By far my favorite compound has been NPP. Right after my first injection my drive for training went wayyy up and my strength shot way up too.

I like the idea of growing and improving body composition but if I had to choose between that or feeling like an animal in the gym I'd go animal everytime lol. More energy to train harder and longer is where it's at for me.

I think Anadrol could be a lot of fun in that way. Looking forward to EQ this summer and seeing how that goes.

Naw nothing to worry about. No other symptoms to report and it's improving each day that passes. A few days ago the jobsite I was on there were a bunch of woodworkers, some drywall work, and then sweeping up. That wood dust gets me everytime. Its MDF, so basically wood pulp and glue. I guess the glue in it really messes with my throat.

That attachment actually looks sick, I have a couple mates with home gyms here in Aus that could use a setup like that.

Also have you tried throat numbing spray, I had an ex that used to use that. Can grab it from your local sex shop 😂

Jokes aside, antiseptic mouthwash helps if you've got an irritated throat, stopped me from getting infections when I used to get tonsillitis

Sleep improved last night. My pup is sleeping through the night now. I think his stomach has adjusted to the antibiotics and we're feeding him boiled chicken and rice.

For some reason I had an urge to bench last night. No idea why, just really wanted to so I thought why not. Its been about 6 months since I last benched so my setup was a little awkward but it went alright. Thought I would hit 4 reps on the 2 plates but I felt a little twinge in my shoulder and stopped. All ok today though.

Got a crazy chest pump from the cable crossovers. I forgot how well they work for me. It was an all around good session and I'm working my way back up still.

Tomorrow I get a late start so I'm gonna get some extra sleep tonight and be ready to train for the next 4 days straight.

Dinner last night was air fried chicken wings. I ate almost all the brocolli before I remembered to take a pic

As a sometimes/ wannabe powerlifter I bench every week so only doing it once in 6 months is just 🤯🤯.

Dude my throat has been so sensitive for years. Decades. When I was young and smoked a lot of things I would every so often get these nasty throat infections. Sometimes it would get so bad I couldn’t swallow water before I did anything about it. Miserable. And ever since, I’ve had issues. I think that’s why my voice can be raspy and it doesn’t take much for me to lose my voice.

I bet you could quit vaping easier than you think. And it would be worth it imo
