A little about me, I've been training for 30+ years. I've been taking Testosterone most of my life & using other Ped's through various stages. I had a health scare 4 years ago & with being in & out of hospitals on various medications I've lost most of the muscle mass that I had & have gained fat. With my health now in check, I decided to get a Coach @gainsman to help me get back into shape while all the time staying healthy & to help work around & manage my numerous injuries which include, patella tendons torn on both knees, both lat muscles torn, 2 pec tears, both Biceps torn, right Tricep torn & both of sides of my shoulders complete tears to all structures involved. It's going to be a tough comeback but I'm powering away full steam ahead!
I'll be using @Helios Labs to enhance my mitochondrial, physical & mental health & to promote fatloss, muscle size & strength

I will attach current progress picks as the program progresses

Welcome to EVO @Thoranosaurus_flex
Glad you made the jump

What a resume brother!!!
Some amazing guns

Show us your current physique mate when you get a chance.

@LevButlerov can you shift thread to the proper section , thanks

Tricep pushdown ×4
Machine Preacher curls ×4

Machine Tricep extension ×3
Seated dumbell concentration curls ×3

Dumbell overhead Tricep extension ×3
Dumbell hammer curls ×3

Dumbell reverse wrist curl ×1
Dumbell wrist curl ×1

Great pump, plenty of focus & drive

Week 1 of increased calories
Test e 500mg
Mast e 300mg
*May be adding additional ped's such, Hgh as the program develops if finances or perhaps sponsorship allows me to do so
I'll be working on progressive resistance training, while bypassing my injuries.
This is my first push after the last 4 years in & out of hospitals & on bed rest after treatment for a chronic health condition, while being on trt 175mg test for that time period also.
It's going to be tough but I'm determined 💪🏽 I won't be doing any front or rear double Bicep anytime soon, as I'm unable to lift my arms up from complete rotator cuff tears to both shoulders, Which means any Incline or overhead presses are off the books for now. I Will be working with rehabilitation exercises for this.
My goals for this push are to-
●Add muscle mass
●Increase muscle roundness & add shape
●Correct musclular imbalances from multiple injuries

The plan after the end of this push phase is to hold onto as much muscle gained as possible with a trt health phase followed by a cuting phase
Progress pics week 1 of push with extra calories

Still looking really good considering what you've been through mate! The nice structure is still there. I think you'll regain size really easily given your former physique.

You look great brother, I think this will be a good push, you clearly know what your doing, what is your health condition if you dont mind sharing?

Hi brother, thanks for tuning in. I have a kidney disease called Fsgs. It's a progressive irreversible disease involving the kidneys flitering systems. It has been stabilised now with medical treatments & medication. The aim going forward is to continue to halt the progression for as long as possible while continuing to do Bodybuilding. Hence the push followed by trt maintenance/health phase followed by a cut with continued trt from there. I'll be employing various mito function enhancers such as Urolithin A, Mots c, SS31 & Slupp332 alongside with my regular medications with hopefully some benefit. This ride I think will be of interest to anyone else experiencing kidney issues who want to do Bodybuilding & for the medical community also

Thanks so much brother 🙏 yes I have found that bodypart split works best for me, especially with a day off after the major bodyparts, back & legs to aid in total systematic recovery especially with the central nervous system & glycogen reload

I think anyone, who takes peds could benefit from learning how to better protect the kidneys, they are kind of looked over and forgotten by many but unlike the liver they dont tolerate as much and dont restore.

I think (i have been guilty of this) elevated kidney markers are written off as benign elevations due to muscle mass, creatine use, high protein diet etc - and majority of the time that is the case. I usually order a cystatin c every few bloods to be sure.

I will be following your log for sure, as this stuff does interest me quite a bit - and I am glad your both healthy and mature enough to understand the need to tread carefully without living in fear.

Good stuff brother.

With FSGS this isn’t something to freestyle, kidney stress from high protein, dehydration, high hematocrit, and heavy compounds can accelerate progression fast.
are you ok with lowering protein to about 150 level? @Thoranosaurus_flex
I'd like to see how peptides help you recover here.
200 protein

● Diet on this push/bulk is a follows,
Rest day:
200 protein
300 carbs
90 fats
2810 calories

Legs and back:
200 protein
400 carbs
90 fats
3210 calories

Normal day:

80 fats
3010 calories

Absolutely fsgs is no joke. I've researched everything that I could over the last 4 years & have consulted with my Nephrologist. My Nephrologist hasn't put me on any diet or fluid restrictions at this stage. My ped use will be limited. I'm not comfortable with anything over 500 test & 300 mast for a blast. My main focus will be on trt & maintaining muscle & health once I've got some gains back. I'll be putting up bloods on here regularly & updates with any changes. Keeping blood pressure under control is crucial

@Thoranosaurus_flex does this mean you will likely need dialysis in the near future? Or could it mean nothing entirely and whatever happens happens?

As the disease is progressive, it's difficult to put any numbers on years until kidney failure & dialysis needs to be implemented. But having said that my prognosis is, looking at anywhere from 5 years to unlimited time. The damage to my kidneys was due to hypertensive changes to the kidneys glomerular filters. So with hypertension in check & as of today my B.p was 114/77 which is not bad for someone with ckd

I couldn't find much of a general consensus for kidney support when I looked into it. Astragalus maybe? What else do you recommend?

Astragalus definitely - but the absolute best thing we can do for kidneys is control a healthy blood pressure.

Omega 3 plays a big role, proper electrolyte balances aswell, alot of guys dont take in enough salt.

Nac can help.

But above all, keeping everything in line keeps the kidneys happy.

There are lots of things for kidney health & to help protect the kidneys Telemesartan & Dapagliflozin are the 2 prime protectors, especially when on cycle. Retatrutide shows some promise as does Cq10, Urolithin A, Mots-C & Ss31 especially

This ride I think will be of interest to anyone else experiencing kidney issues who want to do Bodybuilding & for the medical community also
Naps just posted a AMA with Frank McGrath talking about it

Today's log,

Nutrition
200 protein
400 carbs
90 fats
3210 calories

Sample meal 1 was my preworkout meal which was,
Beef lasagne with kimchi & Beetroot. I felt like a change from the usual preworkout meal which normally consists of a can of Parsons rice cream & a protein drink made from 1.5 scoops Nitrotech whey Protein in water.
1 Multi vitamin
1 D3, k2
2 liver protect (milk thistle)
1 Vit e
1 Cq10
Were all taken with this meal

Water intake was 1.5 litres preworkout
Intra workout was 50g of Maltodextrin mixed into a 600ml poweraide.
Post workout was 2 scoops Nitrotech Protein with 50g Dextrose mixed with water & a can of Parsons rice cream.

Preworkout focus, energy support was 1 cap Methylene blue 10mg from Driven nutrition & a Wakey Wakey 100mg caffeine tab
This was my first time ever trying Mb & I must say that I was impressed! I am prescribed Dexamphetamine for ADD like symptoms, I didn't take any Dexies today due to a possible interaction with Mb which can cause Seratonin syndrome. I felt like the clear headed thinking & energy from Mb blue was better than Dex but time will tell.

whatever is attainable & looks good

That's a bit too vague for many
Understandably bro, but in all honesty do any of us know where we are going to end up eventually muscle size & bodyfat wise on a push & then on a cut? For me Bodybuilding is a purely visual thing & wherever we end up with that look is the best that we can hope to achieve & as long as we have given it 100% & have enjoyed the process, well that's my take on it anyway. I had never tracked a macro counted protein, carbs or fats in my entire life leading up to me competing at the ifbb Nationals & the ceiling of what I attained with my physique. It's only since I've been onboard with the @Gains Man that I have started with the tracking. I also had never taken Hgh in all of my competitive years, I say this, to say that there is merit in an very basic approach. See food & eat it was off-season & pre comp was if I'm feeling hungry most of the time which meant then that I was on a diet 😅

I wonder how many people have something like this already; they don't know it. How did you get diagnosed with it? It must have been something that you luckily caught. @Thoranosaurus_flex

Very sorry to hear that you have this kidney disease. @Thoranosaurus_flex you'll have to definitely keep a sharp eye on your blood work as you use steroids to make sure that you don't make a problem worse.

@Thoranosaurus_flex bros dayum. i'm glad you alive and well. that sound like something serious

Thanks so much brother 🙏 yes I have found that bodypart split works best for me, especially with a day off after the major bodyparts, back & legs to aid in total systematic recovery especially with the central nervous system & glycogen reload
some of these medical issues can be a blessing in disguise. it forces you to really know your body well. this will pay off long term @Thoranosaurus_flex

I wonder how many people have something like this already; they don't know it. How did you get diagnosed with it? It must have been something that you luckily caught. @Thoranosaurus_flex
I was suffering from really bad fatigue & had frequent urination especially at night time I would wake up 4 or 5 or more times to pee, those were the main symptoms. So after quite a few hospital visits to emergency with blood tests revealing creatine levels that indicated kidney failure with the kidney failure being treated with I.v fluid loading each time. I undertook a kidney biopsy with the diagnosis of fsgs being reached. It took many more hospital stays & treatments before the condition was finally stabilised.

You are absolutely right brother, I would have never learned half the things that I know about the human body now had this not come about. My aim is to help as many as I can to avoid the problems that I'm facing. Knowledge & education is power & the more that we learn & share the better

yep its like the wealthy parents who find out their kid has something wrong, then start foundations to cure those diseases and help others. always happens for a reason. now you can help others who have it too

Thanks for your continued input brother & sorry about the bot response in there. I no longer have any proteinura which was a thing but has now ceased with treatment. My Nephrologist has given me no protein or other dietary measures to put in place at this stage.
My Coach @Gains Man & I have implemented a lower protein intake as a precautionary measure. I will definitely consider 150g daily as you suggested as a further precautionary measure if anything goes south with my bloods. As soon as I'm due for my next round of bloods as recommended by my Nephrologist, I will post up the results on my log

Wow that is something. What if you wouldn't have gone to the hospital? Would you have died, you think?

That could have been a possibility bro. This sort of thing has happened to quite a few bodybuilders now unfortunately. Flex Wheeler & Frank Mc grath & others. Honestly as long as you stay on top of getting regular blood tests & blood pressure readings, keep well hydrated this sort of thing isn't going to happen

Steroids could have possibly been involved with it. My biopsy diagnosis was kidney damage due to hypertensive changes to the kidneys filters, which basically means damage from years of uncontrolled high blood pressure. Steroids have been known to cause high blood pressure. But my family also has a history of high blood pressure so some of this is also most likely hereditary.
There wasn't a lot of info available to us like there is now, especially before the internet came into force. The old school approach was eating everything in sight to bulk up including junk food, so that to most likely played a role in all of this. With sites like Evo there is more than enough harm minimisation techniques available to educate us now to avoid any potential future problems

Current pics attached are a few of me during my competitive days

What a unit, great post

#team @Gains Man

Ive got so much growth to do but thanks bro. I know gains will do right by me should have jumped on sooner, he is rather laid back tho 😅 hope he has the ability to crack the whip for prep next year
@gainsman has learnt from the best & has coached Pro's. He's going to be the best possible option for your comp prep I'm sure of it bro. He is laid back! lol
But that makes him easy to deal with. Just go with whatever he says to do & trust in the process. There is no better feeling than standing up there on that stage crushing your rivals!
Claiming victory & sitting on that throne!

Hello Fellow Iron Brethren!
I'm super excited to announce a sponsorship for Retatrutide from @Peptilia peptides
This guy was an absolute champion! super polite & friendly & so easy to deal with & sent he me out tracking straight away.
I'm incorporating Reta into my current muscle growth/push phase stack for its metabolism boosting effect & because it
helps improve insulin sensitivity, which aids in improving how the body uses nutrients, including glucose which makes for improved glycogen storage into the muscles.
It also enhances fat metabolism which is a good thing to have even on a gain cycle as this can help to keep off any unwanted fat from storing on the body.
It can also help to lower blood pressure & it lowers blood Lipids which helps to minimise cardiovascular risk which can be increased while on a cycle & will help to keep my health in check & to give better blood test results.

My nutrition today was,
150 protein
350 carbs
80 fats

Supplements I took today were,
2 Liver detox
1 Multi vit
6 1000mg Omega 3 fish oil capsules
1 CoQ10
1 K2 + D3
Wpi

I did my shoulder rehabilitation stretches for torn rotator cuffs & then kicked back & took an extra rest day off from training as I instinctively felt that it would aid in some needed additional recovery after a huge week of upping the reps & weights. I don't often do this, but sometimes if I'm feeling extra tired, I'll asess wether training that day is going to be beneficial or if an extra rest day is needed.

All in all it great day & a big thanks to @Peptilia peptides for having me onboard

My pleasure brother, super excited to have you on my Reta & can’t wait to follow the log journey😀

Man, that's definitely a tough situation. I guess like you said, we can't have a time machine.

A bit of reflection for me on my past mindset this morning, After looking for a few additional pics for memories from my past bodybuilding competitions, I came across info that I had competed twice in the ifbb Australasian Championships & had placed 3rd both times.
I had completely forgotten about this as my trophy's are stored at my parents house still. I don't like to look at them as I was never happy with 2nd & 3rd place I was obsessed with winning & after my double patella tendon tears ended my career I was gutted by all of this.
Winning if thats the goal should be on every competitors mind, but to never stop once to reflect upon the Journey so far, looking back, I think is a mistake because in the end if you don't win you will never feel happy with your achievements along the way & that's what makes the journey still a win, because that is what brings true happiness in life's journey.
Enjoying the process & not just the end goal.

Sample meal 1 this morning was preworkout which was,
1 can of Parsons creamed rice
Protein 14.6g
Carbs 74.8
Fats 7.8
1800kj
1.5 scoops Nitrotech wpi
Protein 45g
Carbs 5.2g

1005kj

Supplements
Liver detox
Multi
CoQ10
K2 + D3
Nad+

Medications
Dapigloflozin
Hydralazine
Dexamphetamine
Tamsulosin

I've reduced my total Androgen load a bit & as it stands now is,
Test E 65mg ed = 455mg pw (23i:u) pd
Mast E 44mg ed = 308mg pw (22i:u) pd

Training this morning was,
Chest
Incline Dumbell press 4 x 8-12
Machine flat press 3 × 8-12
Incline fly Machine 3 × 8-12
Machine chest dip 3 × 8-12
The second set of all exercises was taken to near failure & with the last set of each taken to the point of momentary muscular failure.
The workout was recorded on hevy app always with progressive reps & resistance in mind.

My package just arrived from my sponsor @HeliosLabs
I've got to say that this guy is one of the most knowledgeable & helpful people that I have ever come across. Honestly this guy's knowledge is just mind blowing 🤯

The vials came inside a neat little peptide box & even came with a chocolate! 🍫
Helios labs are sponsoring me for Ss31 & Mots-C. Both of these compounds will help to manage & help to keep my kidney disease in check & also to benefit other internal organs & to replace & repair my mitochondria, which will be of great benefit to so many of my bodies systems & internal processes. All this with the added bonus of a healthy metabolism, decreased lethargy decreased head fog & clearer thinking & better muscle gains, fat loss & increased performance!

Thankyou so much! @HeliosLabs

Sorry @LevButlerov I was told that I could post about them in the body of my log & but not in the intro. I also posted a touchdown in Helios vendor section today with a comment from @codezz
@LevButlerov please read the comments that followed between @codezz & @Allupfromhere I think after reading this it will clear things up. I was quite shocked to read that no one cares about my touchdown, to be honest as I had asked another mod before posting all of this before hand to check that it was all ok to do so. I was doing the right thing or so I thought, no harm was intended. Please let me know what conclusion you all come to about this & I'll follow any rules & instructions surrounding it. Thanks Brother

Also brother, sorry if my comment came across as rude, wasnt ment to hurt or be hurtful, I didnt know u had asked a mod and as soon as Allupfromhere had posted i respected his comments as its thier call, not mine, im just a logger trying to look out for everyone, I still not sure of the whole reason why he was suspended, not my business, but all good,

Sorry again @Thoranosaurus_flex

Ok brother understood. So I need to delete the old log & start a new one?
Id say keep running ur oils or whatever u have for now,

Also put ur name in the loggers thread, might be called vendors looking for loggers or something, fuck it ill find it for u

https://www.evolutionary.org/forums/threads/aussie-logger-marketplace.104319/

Post in there say, ur looking to log for someone, what ur goals are and the rest, maybe throw up a photo and that give the vendors an idea on what they r working with and wait till someone hits u up

Then keep this log active untill u find a new sponsor bro, but just dnt mention ole mates name as stated from Eddie,

Ok brother, sorry a bit confused, do I need to delete my old log entirely & create a new one?
Cheers for the link for vendors looking for logging

Nah dnt delete it, just keep using this log untill u get picked up by a new vendor, then once u have a new vendor who is sponsoring u, then create a new log

All good, I'll start with a new log today, can I keep the old introduction template but edit it & only tag the appropriate vendor's in it?
you can keep the template just use your new sponsor please :D @Thoranosaurus_flex sorry for the hassle but we need to enforce this.

It's a good brother, I will do that & just to clarify before I start, I need to start an entirely new log & not just keep the old one & post a new intro on there?
