Thanks bro. Its doing good, strained it a touch last week stabilizing curls. Took a week off to rest it. Im out at the fams in the boonies doing renos and gave access to a cable machine, do will try some light cable work starting tomorrow.Looking good mate. You've made serious progress since the start of the log. How's the lat going?

Thanks bro. I couldnt believe it was me in the mirror for a sec. LolLean bro! Any upcoming goals?
Thanks brother, i cant wait to have a more shredded look but that can come after building in cycle.Lean as man great base to start building on
Thanks bro. I couldnt believe it was me in the mirror for a sec. Lol
Cycle goals
Goal 1 full lat recovery and make it back to reps and wrights i was doing.
Week 8 msk ultrasound will give me and idea
Goal 2 run a blast for the remainder of cycle and bulk up. Not specifically looking to lean or dirty bulk as i can just run a cut after.
Physique goals
Gain muscle while staying relatively lean. Lets say aim for 200lb 12-13%
Think mediocre greek god physique?![]()
Im 6'3.5" too, so i think itll look good, maybe 210.200 pounds at 12 to 13 percent is the year round physique that holds proportions whether you're cutting or running maintenance brother![]()
Shakey, page 1 pictures versus page 18 pictures and you look like a completely different guy. Nice work bro. When you can start blasting the weights again the muscles going to build up quick and best part is you’ll be able to see it easily with how lean you’ve become.Havent been updating since its just macros and ive been out of town doin reno's but heres a couple update pics. Interesting study for both localized pinning as well as systemic benefits along with it as well.Well @toddthelineman ill have to correct myself. Im posting here so i dont blow up new guys thread.
BPC-157 is systemic. The reason for the localized effects claim and even me not doubting the claim much is because of the fact that the only places you see/feel improvements is where your injured and most take it for a single injury and pin locally. Though there is a suggestion of better localized pain relief/increase in threshold
Alright bros, going to tag the lot of yea just incase this interests yea. ill link some studies with some quotes regarding the systemic nature of BPC. Ill bold the interesting things as a TLDR but the 2 studies i linked are full length articles if you're nerd. Always prefer them even just for skimming over abstract only links.

2.3.4 Tissue distribution of BPC157 in rats
The total radioactivity concentrations in the rat tissues were similar after a single IM injection of 100 µg/300 μCi/kg of [3H]BPC157. Tissue distributions at different time points are summarized in Figure 6. After 3 min of administration, total radioactivity concentration was detected in all rat tissues; however, it was significantly lower than that observed in the plasma. After 10 min of administration, the total radioactivity concentration increased significantly in all tissues, with the mean renal tissue concentration reaching 223 ng (Eq. µg/ml), which was higher than the mean plasma concentration (150 ng, Eq./ml). After 1 h of administration, the total radioactivity peaked in most tissues, and the average concentration in the kidney was the highest, reaching 560 ng (Eq. µg/ml), followed by that in the liver, stomach wall, spleen, and thymus. All average concentrations were higher than those in the plasma. The total radioactivity concentrations in the intestine, skin, and lungs were similar to those in the plasma, and the mean concentrations in the gonads, myocardium, skeletal muscle, brain, and body fat were all lower than the mean concentrations in the plasma. At 24 h after administration, the mean concentrations of total radioactivity in the kidney, thymus, liver, spleen, and gastric wall decreased significantly but were still higher than the mean concentrations in the plasma at the same time. The concentrations in other tissues were lower than the average concentration in the plasma and are presented in the descending order as follows: intestinal tract, lung, gonad, skin, skeletal muscle, cardiac muscle, whole blood, brain, and body fat. The total radioactivity concentrations in the kidney, liver, stomach wall, thymus, spleen, intestine, lung, skin, and body fat were reduced by approximately 50% compared with the peak concentration in the same tissue (1 h after administration).

Further, BPC-157 improved medial collateral ligament (MCL) healing in rats, including the expression of early growth response 1 (EGR1), a transcription factor implicated in cell growth, differentiation, and inflammation. Given either intraperitoneally, as a local topical application, or orally, the therapy was shown to promote muscle and transected tendon healing.
In addition to direct or indirect intervention in various tissue, bone, and other disorders, BPC-157 may influence pain as well. In rats, available data suggest the local application of BPC-157 at surgical incision sites significantly raised the pain threshold at early time points hours following injury, but the reduced sensitivity effect was lessened by 7 days post-surgery [46]. Researchers posited that the antinociceptive effect of the biologic may occur through an anti-inflammatory mechanism that results in short-lived alleviation rather than a centrally mediated analgesic effect [46]. Further studies have indicated similar results in formalin pain models in rats, with BPC-157 decreasing flinching responses during acute phase 1 but not persist
ent phase 2 pain [47].

Grade 2 Lat Tear Week 7 Day 2
Update: Finally did it boys. Although i locked the weight into 10lbs, i went deep stretch full rom, and very slow on lats. Isolatetal seated row machine, braced for unilateral lifts. Felt killer.
Lat tear down side was all good, but that spot under my shoulder blade gave a sharp ache for 20mins. Maybe the suspected secondary tear was worse. The msk will tell.

Yea went real well, focused on deep stretchs and full conctractions with just 10lbs.Great update man! Killer workout and glad to hear that Lat is feeling better. Injuries are a bitch.
Thanks. There was multiple injury spots on back. The length of lat on the outside and up to shoulder is where the tear was along. That was good, no pain etc.you trained hard wowthat tear is that painful? @Shakey

you're ok now or still pain? Thanks. There was multiple injury spots on back. The length of lat on the outside and up to shoulder is where the tear was along. That was good, no pain etc.
The sharp ache, not weak but i wouldnt describe it as very painful, was in the small secondary spot by scapula. It was gone in 20 mins.
The third spot was a few inch section along that side of spine, mid back.
Pain was gone by the time i left gym but today there was a small ache. Next lat day i will try unilateral pulldowns instead, see if that works better.you're ok now or still pain?

I ran unilateral on the iso machine rows as well. Lat was fine, but theres still a spot healing by shoulder blade. Im doing rear delts right now and the right side feels different now.Switching to unilateral pulldowns lets you control the load on the strain side without the contralateral lat compensating and forcing the bilateral pull pattern brother![]()

You love the ache!Pain was gone by the time i left gym but today there was a small ache.
I have the compounds but not the food supply.Amazing volume but you're eating like a bird especially while getting fed by your Momma![]()
Good volume and better macros! Chicken sausage nice bro!4/29/26 - Yesterday
Rehab Cycle Week 6 Day 3
Grade 2 Lat Tear Week 7 Day 2
Update: First rear delt lift was a success. Kept the weight locked in at 10lbs like lat and did unilateral as well. There was a small ache after, similiar to lat. Also noticed at full contraction the muscle feels different, like theres not as much muscle as the right side or less activation, not in the rear delt itself but lower. I guess the secondary spot by shoulder blade area i suppose. Time will tell if its just in my head.
Shoulder pumps were crazy good, dont think ive got shoulder pumps anywhere near that before.
Ate good, have had wuite they supply of protein shakes lately. Weighed in the morning after at 189.5lbs. Gaining lbs brothers.

Nice selection of exercises for a shoulder and arm workout. Not the biggest fan of so many sets though. I'd limit it to three each. Also, other than your injury, is the any reason for the high reps?4/29/26 - Yesterday

Thanks bro. Was just the way she went. Im not strict with my diet, kinda eat whatever i got. I dont mind heavy fats but i keep em around 60-80 on a cut, but i aint curting right now. LolVery detailed update brother
+300g protein is massive!! Is your nutritional preference fats over carbs or just the way this day happened to go?
Thanks budGreat update solid session and macros
Yupp, glad i noticed. Ive locked lat and rear delts in at 10lbs for now.Catching that secondary spot near the shoulder blade in the contraction phase is exactly the kind of rep by rep awareness that finds the second injury before it ambushes the rehab brother![]()
Ive locked into machines only for more support, so i dont stabilize with my back for now. Unfortunately i dont have a big gym with lots of variation for lifts, so 6 sets 1 exercise instead of 3 sets and 2 exercises.Nice selection of exercises for a shoulder and arm workout. Not the biggest fan of so many sets though. I'd limit it to three each. Also, other than your injury, is the any reason for the high reps?

Rehab Cycle Week 7 Day 5
Grade 2 Lat Tear Week 8 Day 4
Update: Finally got back in the gym. Been out of town doing those renos by myself. Would you believe me if i said i was stupid enough to use a hammer? Had an ache the next day. Ive finished most my work out there, but i beleive im goid rmough now to perhaps use the cable machine in garage on light weights.
MSK ultrasound is on monday to see what the damage was and what recovery looks like. I also have my EQ bloods next week.
Upgraded to a 10 cup uncooked rice cooker, so 20 cup quick rice or up to 25 cups non precooked rice. Will be diving back into meal prepping as i no longer need to run my rice cooker 3 or 4 times in a row.
Ill be dropping reta for the remainder of my cycle. Time to get hungry.
Also stopped pantoprazole as it gave me terrible cramps when mixed with reta. May try again after reta clears.

Consecutive Midnight Lifts - 1/39
Update: Ive been given the opportunity to join Team Oxygen for the remainder of my cycle (approx. 13 weeks) and its right around the time i decided to increase my cycle from rehab doses to heavier doses so it worked out well. This doesnt mean ill be smashing heavy weights again, but staying locked into around 15-20 reps or so. Some lifts more, some less.
Ill also be starting a new log next week once i start running @OxygenPharm's gear. Itll essentially be a 13 week bulk, maybe an extra week or so to run the vials out.
The new cooker worked great. Steamed 2lbs of cauliflower, 1lb of carrots, 2lb ish potatoes. Will give oatmeal a shot in the am before trying rice, hell i might even steam some salmon i found in the freezer.
LAT PULLDOWNS WERE A SUCCESS! Although it was unilateral at only 10lbs x 20 reps, very slow amd smooth reps, it felt good. Last 5% of ROM is tight which is clearly from multiple months of non use at that range as well as how it healed. Loosened up around 4th set, i monitored it very carefully.
I did get some ache after machine crunchs because of the nautilus style hand holds for crunching. Will be removing these and doing ab bench instead.
@LevButlerov let the timestamping begin.
