You look much better this year than last year @PrinceDaddy :D strong improvements. I suggest really concentrating on the arms BIs and Tris, and try to implement more pull ups.

Making good progress. Many gym peeps saying I look better this year. I have an idea how it should look, I know I'm still not there. Arms and legs are looking lean, but belly and glutes still need work.

I will try MOTS-C this week. Let's see if it does anything for me. MWF fasting OMAD this week.

At this point I am 5 weeks out. I like the progress I have made. Last week this time my high/low weight was 185/179. So down 3 lbs since last week. At this rate, if it keeps up I should be 172/167 in 5 weeks. Not sure if that will happen, but so far so good. Next Friday, I have bloodwork scheduled, I plan on doing a 36 hour fast from Thursday AM to Friday PM. Blood draw will be in the afternoon. I also wear the waist trainer after the workouts into the evening.

I have added a peptide to my mix. MOTS-C. I plan on doing MWF dosing of 2mg pre-workout. I don't know that I felt anything significant today, so we shall see. I usually do injections in the evening or afternoon. Orals I take before going to the gym. I never really do injections pre-gym. A little new to me.

MOTS-C: Increases metabolism and causes weight loss; can protect against metabolic disorders like non-alcoholic fatty liver disease; improves physical performance and running capacity; improves muscle function; increases insulin resistance; offers anti-inflammatory benefits; decreases vascular calcification; increases chances of surviving infection/sepsis.

Mots C is a peptide of 16 amino acids expressed by a mitochondrial gene. Research provides evidence that mitochondria play a key role in signaling and in energy production.

Mots C regulates metabolic functions throughout the body, including turning glucose into usable energy. Preliminary studies show evidence for improved control over blood sugar levels for those with type 2 diabetes and obesity.

Research also shows that skeletal muscle is the major target tissue of Mots C. The skeletal muscle enhances insulin sensitivity and increases glucose uptake in myocytes (muscle cells) by activating the AMPK pathway and at the same time without increasing insulin. It is fair to call Mots C an exerciseâmimetic, meaning it imitates exercise on the body. Exercise also increases muscle glucose uptake without stimulating insulin.

AMPK (AMPâactivated protein kinase), was identified in 1999 as the master switch for metabolism and the central regulator of both glucose and lipid (fat) metabolism. Since then it has been a target for therapeutic intervention against metabolic conditions such as typeâ2 diabetes.

I am doing my walking, work outs, and fasting. My physique is getting tighter, but still much work to do.

I had a friend at the gym ask me "Are you cutting?" I was like what do think? He knows I'm a bodybuilder. I'm wearing a tank, body is shaven and tanned. I hate when newbs ask a silly question like that. The better question is when is the show.

No fasting today. Good leg work out. Got caught in some catch up conversations so ended up rushing thru leg machines. Would like to have focused some more sets there. Making good progress. Preloaded a MOTS-C syringe for the AM. I like to take my pills and go. Don't want to be drawing or mixing.

Brought groceries today. Kind of interesting shopping on Reta. I know not to buy things especially headed into a show, but it is still in effect.
No desire for protein bars and such. Just the things I need. My current reta vial should finish tomorrow. So, a new vial on Sunday. I am wondering if the peptide gets weaker near the end dosage due to breakdown?

I do sometimes feel a craving to eat something, but I don't. I'm just wondering if it is losing some effectiveness. So far it is good.

The peptides might not be weaker, but when you mixed the BAC water its possible some parts you go more some parts of injection you got less. @PrinceDaddy

Weight is dropping. Great workout today. Reta is working. No BM yet today, I know Reta slows gastric emptying, it feels like this occurs however you are not bloated or uncomfortable. Usually before squatting I like to empty out, but with this Reta it just does not come. As I look at my physique I feel like I still have more fat to lose around the waist/belly/glutes. I'm going to change my target to 170 for now.

Dropping Test from 400 to 300 this week. Will drop EQ to 150 to finish it off. Will continue the Reta. Thinking I will add MOTS-C this week MWF, 2mg.

Thunderstorms and rain in the area so not much walking today. Finished my vial of Reta today. So will bust out a new vial on Sunday.
Noticed my resting heart rate has been dropping. Which is why I was wondering if my Reta was losing its effectiveness. I took my 2nd dose of MOTS-C this am. Too early to tell if it is doing anything effective, but no noticeable side effects so far. I have been sleeping very good so far, some really deep sleep. I still wake up often, but fall back into deep sleep.

I've been posing and doing ab checks, it's coming in. Here's today's ab check:

My conditioning is coming in on the legs, arms and shoulders. I feel like my shoulders and arms are getting smaller. It's just the fat goes there first before it gets to my belly and glutes. I really want to see the belly, glute, and lower back (handles) fat disappear. I don't know how much will come off. I'm sure I will have loose skin. Old guy here. I want that boner skin around the belly. Pinch it and just skin, no fat between the skin.
I can still easily pinch an inch in all those areas.

Just keep grinding...

I really like how my core feels when doing core and ab work. Abs are popping, however I can still pinch an inch on the lower belly. Just have to keep grinding. New bottle of reta tomorrow. My peptide math was off. I was using 10 units on 20ml Reta vial reconstituted with 1ml bac water.
So, I was doing 4mg weekly with 2mg on Sun and 2mg on Wed. I am going keep it the same. I am also doing MOTS-C on MWF with 2mg.

Many folks at the gyms are commenting on physique changes. These are untrained eyes, I do feel like I am not quite there yet.

I am doing the 36 hour fast with blood work this week. So, Thurs AM will start the fast and end the fast on Friday evening. Will do blood work Friday afternoon. Will be an interesting week.

I'm not sure. I see definition coming in. I'm still strong in the gym.

Feels to me like the Reta is controlling food noise so I am not overeating. It is also making me insulin sensitive. So I don't feel weak when lifting at the gym. I added MOTS-C last week, 2mg MWF pre-workout. The thing I am noticing on this addition, Not much at the gym, later in the evening I seem to be sleeping harder. I almost feel anabolic in my sleep. Whatever muscle group feels fuller. I still have my issues about waking up often, but it feels like a deeper anabolic sleep.

At this point, my cycle is as follows:

150mg Tren Ace Weekly
300mg Test Cyp Weekly
600mg Mast Weekly
150mg EQ Weekly till I finish the current vial, then no more.

yeah i listened to the retatrutide podcasts on here. that is what steve says happens. you won't feel all hypglycemic like other fat burners.

No fasting today. Back to OMAD tomorrow, and then a 36 hour fast beginning on Thursday AM. Should be interesting. I really want to see adonis belt be very tight and chiseled. I'm still fluffy in those areas. Also I have old man skin so some saggy skin in there as well.

Have you done the underwear test?

Can you stand on put on your underwear each hole without holding onto a ledge? Feels to me like over the last few year. That first leg is tough, maybe visceral fat throwing off balance. I have felt this for a long time. I am noticing with the Reta I can balance on my legs and put on underwear without holding onto anything. I am going to do a a dexa/BF scan at some point, likely after the first show just to see what the markers say.

Weight is dropping, much slower. I'm anxious to see what this 36 hour fast does for me. If it helps I may just implement weekly.

I think the underwear test is nonsense myself, but it's something to test out. :D And the 36 hour fast is nothing, its basically just 1 day of not eating, will help you tighten up the skin. @PrinceDaddy

I hate doing prolong fasting during the hot summers
you will be pissing out way more then you get it in, plus you miss on the water/electrolytes from food. make sure if you sweat even a drop you are getting back that salt and water. cold showers, lots of cold water you will be fine. keep it up man! @PrinceDaddy

I made it thru the fast. I woke up very light at 175. I did hydrate, but think it did not hold much due to no carbs, Of course its hot in Texas too.
Did my blood work this afternoon. Will be anxious to see how it looks. This is the more aggressive part of my cycle. I would expect some items to be a little out of range. I am hearing the Reta seems to keep bodybuilders in better ranges. We shall see.

I used my Keto Mojo. Moderate level of Ketosis

I'm not good with calipers. There's a group at the gym that does a body scan. All of these are imperfect methods. They rely on impedance and stats. Better approach is to look at belly and glute and lower back.

Some good news, some bad news. Weight is coming off. That is good. Still plenty of fat to loose. Skin is a little loose. Just going to keep grinding.

Bad news, I saw some of my blood work results. My cholesterol and thyroid are a whacked. It is to be expected with the anabolic load. However I am wondering if I was a little too dehydrated due to the 36 hour fast. I will do the next blood work draw a week before the 08/27 show. It is not the worst I have seen and I have seen my ranges return to normal values after cycle.

Today was slow. Somehow I did it, got thru the workout, but was just dragging. Strength was good. Just did feel motivated. Not sure why.

@PrinceDaddy yes dehydration can throw off blood work, but how were you dehydrated during the fast? you drank electrolytes and water correct?

Can you share the bloods please.

The tightness is MUCH better after the fast, you really tightened up big time. Fasting is really working for you.

Good workout today. I am looking good in the mirror. Can't seem to capture it in pictures. Definition is coming in. Of course, my tank top and shorts are covering where I am still holding fat. Working hard to burn it off. I noticed my serratus is coming in. Definitely making progress. At this point, I am 3 weeks out. I will look ok for this first show, but I do feel like I can nail it for the second.

I am still waiting on full blood results. I have 5 of 8 items so far. I will post later in the week when all are available. Noticing my thyroid function gets whacked due to the T3. I was doing T3 ED. I am going to change this to 3 times a week. I feel like the Reta and MOTS-C is more effective and T3 may just be altogether unnecessary for me.

On the 36 hour fast, it was not too bad for me. I am thinking I will remove the evening meal on Thursdays.
