you would get more energy if you streamlined your diet more. more quality carbs and cals would go a long way @playfields also don't be afraid of more fruits and veggies

Always up the carb and protein ratio ive noticed steady improvement since doing so myself.

He’s definitely going to reach his goals. We all have opinions about HOW he should do it. You bumped carbs but you need to have protein higher as well. :D @playfields and the guys on 800 grams of carbs are on hgh insulin mainly. No fat? easy just rice and chicken breast, not fun but works.

holy pump, i haven't had such an enjoyable session lifting weights in a whileeeee hahaha. the increase in carbs are truly working their magic, especially in the arms, i could barely move the lat pull down bar because my forearms were bulging with blood. didn't realise how flat i was until now, i can barely bend my arms when doing preacher curls. Didn't get my cardio in, feet are sore with blisters and my left foot felt strained, so i walked for about 15 minutes then turned back and drove to the gym instead. did core exercises since I didn't need to concern myself with time management. Had an awesome night's rest aswell because of how good that session felt lol, immediately went to bed which is why I didn't post log yesterday.

I had to pick up the pace at the end, had a gathering to attend to with tha boys. While not directly related to today’s session, literally all my mates are saying how ‘shredded’ I am hahaha.. i must have insane body dysmorphia because they’re hella ecstatic about it hey, like full touching me 😳😳😳

Do your friends lift? Any of them enhanced? Do you talk about it or is it on a need to know basis? I get comments and occasional groping too hahaha. And it’s not uncommon for someone to come right out and ask me if I use steroids, and I would say the truth but it’s backfired on me more than once. So I’m usually like “really? You think I look like I’m on steroids?😱😳🥰. I’m only 185 pounds hahahaha”. And sometimes I’ll tell them that I have used them and currently I’m on trt, especially if it’s like, an older intelligent man who might want to know and could benefit.

yeah they all lift, but they're more interested in how lean I was and I think it was warping their perception of how 'muscular' I am.. All of them are actually alot bigger than me in general because they're 6'3-6'5 (I'm 5'10) and they're natural hahaha. Hopefully after my first bulk I can get some steroid allegations 😊

Being lean definitely does that! They see the muscle, so you seem to be huge. It’s like, if I had a more typical 46 year old amount of fat, I’d be actually big. I’d be 220, 230 pounds maybe. But nobody would really notice me. They way I am now, with veins, people notice

Due to the increase in food, carbs and fats, I’m feeling so bloated and hella gassy because my poor digestive system hasn’t caught up 😂😂, oh well… atleast the gym sessions have felt so much better, a little bit of strength increases here and there, but the best part is the energy and aggression I feel at the gym, I really missed that feeling.

Decided to pull a classic gym bro move and skip leg day and do random shit instead hahaha, just unshackling from a strict routine for a little bit and reminding myself why I love going to the gym in the first place. Ended up sticking around for 2 hours, so I got home rather late, so unfortunately no check-in progress pics tonight :(, I’ll try and get something out tomorrow!

Bit more food today! But my tdee today was pretty active and my fitness app says I’ve burned 3700 calories—not sure how accurate that is! Personally, I think I ate at either maintenance or I’m in a slight deficit.

ive never heard of psyllium husk tbh haha, I occasionally buy probiotic drinks from the store but I don't regularly have them in my diet, no.

You should get probiotics supplements, take 1 cap each meal 30billion cfu +

Push day—still mixing up exercises and enjoying the new found energy, definitely getting stronger and definitely feeling some major fucking pumps, oh my goodness.

Really focusing on slowing my reps and squeezing hard, in general just trying to get my form sharpened up for the bulk as it got wonky during my cut.

Coach is in the process of building me my new plan for bulking, so while thats happening, I’ve just been enjoying myself at the gym—and in terms of diet, I’m holding the fort down really well. Eating clean, calories are in a surplus most days and I’ve been smashing carbs while managing to keep fats low.

I’ve also continued my 25kish steps, however, it won’t be everyday and it’ll be when I feel like walking to the gym, so maybe every 2nd or 3rd day.

Not sure how much calories I’ll need on big cardio days, but I posted my fitness app to show you what my total burned calories is estimated to be, so maybe to play it safe, I should eat 4k calories? (Say yes so I can eat more). This will all be calculated by my coach regardless, but I always like to hear your thoughts!
 
You didnt really follow up on my question, can you clarify if you added psyllium husk? probiotics? besides digestive enzymes. @playfields
whats your opinion on brown flaxseeds? can i use that instead?

First day of the new job, 0700-1500 for a couple of days then I’ll be doing evening and overnight shifts. So my routine is going to be all over the place and same with my log, I’ll still be able to easily kick ass at the gym, but my diet is a different question o_o. Diet has already been affected, I didn’t bring my own lunch so I had a cafeteria yoghurt berry thing and a foccacia. There’s other stuff at the cafeteria, and they have a decent amount of food logged onto MyFitnessPal, so I’ll do some research on the best menu items for my macros. Things are about to get interesting!

Still waiting on a new bulking plan, so I’m still just chilling at the moment and enjoying different exercises.

Oof, pump was a little much today. Felt like my entire day was spent at the gym because any small movement I made, predominantly in my forearms, gave me a pump lol. I then went to the gym for a leg session and did hack squats and had a fucked up lower back pump that had me out of action for 20ish minutes lol. I didn’t bring a premade lunch to work so I ended up eating maccas or cafe food… worst of all, I spent 100 dollars for those 3 days!!!! ($90 of that is from the cafe!!) so I have sounded the alarm 🚨 ‼️ and I have pre made a lunch of Beef, Brown rice and broccoli—it’s all very easily microwaveable. The pumps are.. unhealthy. I wake up in the morning not being able to pull my neck collar down, typing on the keyboard gives my forearms an insane pump, my calves are an inch bigger—everything is an inch bigger 👁️ . Strength is crazy up though and one colleague thought I was the new security guard, so not all bad.

Yesterday and monday I couldn’t log. Yesterday I was feeling nauseous, still made my way to the gym, but 30 mins in I was no bueno. On Monday I worked til 11pm and my body clock hasn’t adjusted yet.

quick update,
Keeping work lunch simple, packet of microwaveable brown rice, pulled beef, broccoli. I make 2 containers worth of this for my 20 minute and 30 minute break.

UNFORTUNATELY!!! LIKE CLOCKWORK!!! I’m sick again, caught from the fam even though I was trying really hard to cover my face everytime I interacted with them, so i’ll see how I feel with gym and stuff.

Upper body strength is climbing FAST!! If you recall, during my first 2 month bulk in Feb it was my legs which gained a ton of strength (4 plates > 12 plates leg press), now my upper body strength is basically as strong as I was pre cut if not stronger. I have way better mind muscle connection as well, I can actually feel pumps way better, especially in the lats and upper back. I think it has to do with how much carbs I’ve been able to shovel in while keeping fats low. As good as the pumps are, it can make work and walking around annoying lol. I think they call it edema? Because of the gh? Hopefully it goes down eventually, it’s nothing terrible.
