haha this is true. but seriously my daughter is quite the athlete too. In many ways i'm proud of her but i won't admit it. i will have to get her to post a log to show up everyone on here once she finally answers my phone calls. she is still bitter that i flushed her barbies down the toilet

Being this flat after 5 no carb days is expected but the condition is spot on, and with mast bumped and cardio locked in you’re right where you need to be. That high carb day Friday will bring you back full and sharp heading straight into peak week!

Had a high carb day Thursday 8 days out, my body looks better 2 days after carbs not directly after.
Follow that into peak week so load Tuesday/Wednesday and back off Thursday (1 day out) and Friday show day.

You’re right on target for show week. 71.5 kg is a great point to hold before loading, and backing GH down to 3 iu this close in will help tighten things up. The carb timing plan is smart since you fill out 48 hours after the load, so Tuesday and Wednesday are perfect. Cardio tapering and the last shots lined up for Monday will dry you out right where you want to be. Conditioning push now is all that’s left, you’re about to bring a sharp, full look to stage. :D

Got all my meals in by the time I landed and 7L of water during flight.
Will keep water high until 1 day out

I gained time so I’m back at “3 days out”
Starting the carb loading menu:
Meal 1
3 whole eggs
180g cooked white rice
Meal 2
100g cooked chicken breast
180g cooked white rice
Meal 3
100g cooked steak
180g cooked white rice
Meal 4
3 whole eggs
180g cooked white rice
Meal 5
100g cooked chicken breast
180g cooked white rice
Meal 6
100g cooked steak
180g cooked white rice

Had to cram all those meals in like a 7 hour span because I wanted to go to sleep 7pm to catch up on sleep I missed during travel.

Ordered groceries to my Airbnb so that saved so much time and energy omg.
So I haven’t left, I’ve just been eating and sleeping 😂

4 days out Monday - hit light legs and glutes cos couldn’t help myself
3 days out Tuesday - no training just travel

Same diet and cardio plan for the last 3 days leading into peak week. Depleting as much as possible and no carbs until I land.

Cardio adjustments made: tapered cardio intensity down a bit
45 mins spin bike
No pm cardio
3 days out dropped cardio completely

Daily AM protocol: dropped gh out completely after 3 days out (Tuesday)
Running Clen up until day of show

Steroid shots: last shot was Friday (7days out)
Just running orals up until show day

1 day out - fasted
Added in 6 caps of xpel morning, 1pm, and before bed as a diuretic

Meal 1 after these pics was 250g white rice and 3 whole eggs.
Taking pics after a couple of carb meals to see how body responds today.

7.5L water, small increase will help me keep diuresing.

Sodium is consistent with no changes.

Using coffee also as natural diuretic so having 2 shots of espresso with every meal

250g white rice
100g chicken

Planning on this:

5:00am – 250g cooked white rice, 3 whole eggs, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 250ml double strong coffee and 500ml water

7:00am– 250g cooked white rice, 60g chicken, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 250ml double strong coffee and 500ml water

9:30 – 150g cooked white rice, 2 whole eggs, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 100ml double strong coffee and 500ml water

11:30 - HALF muffin, plus HALF snickers, 250ml water

When i’m 45 min from stage: HALF muffin, 250ml water

While pumping up (20 min or so from stage) 250ml full sugar Gatorade with 1/2 teaspoon salt mixed in.

I didn’t make finals so I didn’t have to make a game plan this time for the night show.

Holding off on the 3rd meal - may skip it as prejudging is going faster than I thought. I should be on stage at approx 12:30pm

I've been to the O as a spectator and it was crazy. I can't even imagine being there to compete.
 
One thing I learnt is that I’m huge…
I just need to be waaaaay tighter.
This isn’t tight enough guys. This shit crazy the paper thin skin these girls have on their asses at this elite level.
I need to level up now. I have with the size there’s plenty there and more to come, that shits easy.
But the conditioning - the true stage conditioning I’m still trying to nail.

Reflecting on my performance and physique - I was not happy with my mid section.
I honestly am still learning what works for my body and I just don’t believe carbs work for me. They blur my abs, thicken up my waist line. I’m better off not flattening out so I don’t have to fill back up and competing on an empty stomach. None of this eating heaps of food bullshit it don’t work and makes you hold water around your stomach.

I was very happy with my waistline in 2024 Romania muscle fest - I didn’t do a carb up I ate fats instead. Drumsticks, chicken thighs, nuts and minimal carbs like 80g rice with 5 meals
Not fucking 250g rice with every meal.
I ate like almost 5kg of rice before the show ffs.

My take away from this is that I know what works for me I just gotta do it and stop thinking there is another way or there is some magic behind it.
Yeah I was big and full and that’s great, But at the cost of my shape. So I was a little disappointed in that!

I just needed to thank you all for the love and messages! I’m sorry I didn’t update live, I have a lot to post especially data for 1 day out and show day.
It was a huge deal for me - I was just taking it all in. Only finally now I’ve calmed down and can actually sleep.
Like that’s how high you are from it, you can’t sleep because you just don’t wanna miss a thing.

My mum was even like you have to message me daily to let me know your safe and I just kept forgetting lol

1 day out - fasted
Added in 6 caps of xpel morning, 1pm, and before bed as a diuretic

Meal 1 after these pics was 250g white rice and 3 whole eggs.
Taking pics after a couple of carb meals to see how body responds today.

7.5L water, small increase will help me keep diuresing.

Sodium is consistent with no changes.

Using coffee also as natural diuretic so having 2 shots of espresso with every meal

9:30 – 150g cooked white rice, 2 whole eggs, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 100ml double strong coffee and 500ml water

11:30 - HALF muffin, plus HALF snickers, 250ml water

When i’m 45 min from stage: HALF muffin, 250ml water

While pumping up (20 min or so from stage) 250ml full sugar Gatorade with 1/2 teaspoon salt mixed in.

I didn’t make finals so I didn’t have to make a game plan this time for the night show.

Holding off on the 3rd meal - may skip it as prejudging is going faster than I thought. I should be on stage at approx 12:30pm

So I will just kill meal 3 and have the muffin, snickers around 11:15am

Hahaha it’s not a lot of food when it’s CLEAN and you have a fast metabolism. The point I was making was to eat more calorie dense food, fats, so you don’t have to eat as much 🙃 carbs bind to water.

I got to watch the men’s open prejudging so missing finals wasn’t a huge deal as a fan of the sport lol it’s a win win just even being there x

i know how it is with females in a male dominated hobby. i do a lot of yoga which is a female dominant activity and sometimes i'm the only male in the class.

The gym environment is skewed at times. More so in old school gyms vs fitness type places. I'd argue it's better if you can ignore some aspects cos if you're serious about it it's the best. But if you have to dress a certain way, wanna be noticed but not leered at while wearing hot pants etc and so on then you can easily spend too much focus on that and not on why most go to the gym to begin with. Hopefully, as I think I have been mostly, I'm encouraging. IE: as per my log for Tuesday

Personally I prefer the women's physique. I think the bodybuilding goes a bit too far. But I also prefer men's classic to open. Being freaky is cool and all but I appreciate asthetics, symmetry, and conditioning way more. Atleast as a physique competitor you can walk around like a normal person still. Imagine how hard it is being as huge as those men and women are. Everything in life becomes more difficult.

I think you're right where you need to be and killn it! How many people can say they competed at the highest level in a sport where you're facing off against the entire world. There's way more olympians per sport then there are Olympia competitors. It's really a remarkable achievement when you consider all the factors.
