Well there is Hunt season, but my friend call themselves safari poachers, you know...
Boars can reach 150 kg. If you catch it, you have to call authorities and advise, They will check if it has pig fever, which can destroy a pig farm, not lethal for us

Here in the North, we dont have This kind of mafia. All you have and use for Hunt is declared and held in a safe.
And if you drive with it in the car you must be in the declared area... Well sometimes They carry also outside, in Italy no one respect laws :)

It looks like my strain is getting better – still haven’t purchased any peptides yet.
yesterday I did 4x4 back squat at 80% + some wall balls and push presses, no pain at all.

I believe TRT is helping with reducing the inflammation. I also had a physio session, which I plan to repeat next week.
Luckily, on Monday I’m scheduled to get the hyaluronic acid injection in my knee (I do this twice a year).

I’m going to test a new compound for my knee called Cross Linked. They say it’s “revolutionary” – let’s see how it goes.

Meanwhile, I got my driver’s license suspended due to a hazardous overtaking (f*ck off). So, it’s a lot of biking for me lately. I’ve also joined a new CrossFit gym that’s closer to home. The workouts are a bit lighter, but still enough to keep me on track.

Riding a bike here can feel kind of rough – we don’t have proper bike lanes (it’s dangerous!), the streets are narrow with poor lighting (winter is coming) and in general, people associate cycling with those who can’t afford a car, don’t have legal documents (immigrants), and work in delivery. But honestly, I don’t care.

I should be able to drive again in about 20 days. Until then, I’ll enjoy this de-load period in the new gym.

My regular gym feels like the Tiger’s Den – heavy lifting, long sessions, short rests, tons of ego lifters, and poor technique. So ironically, I’m actually feeling more motivated in this “sh*tty” period.

Also, yesterday after 20 years or so, I ran into an old-school bodybuilder and gym owner from my village – the guy who first introduced me to bodybuilding when I was 18. To me, he’s like Master Roshi from Dragon Ball (if you know what I mean). He said I’m in great shape, and honestly, that meant a lot to me.

Tonight I’m grabbing a pint and a spliff with some friends – just chilling, catching up, and dealing with house stuff with the missus. And yeah, riding a bike doesn’t mean I’ll overdo it with booze... if I want do do it, I do it even when I drive....

I’ll post again soon about the TRT journey – I’ll be tracking my weight and body fat just to see where I’m at.

Sorry for unloading all my stuff here – it’s just a so-so period with the missus right now. We’re not talking much in these days, and when we do, we don’t really share the same passions, so sometimes it’s a bit frustrating, but that's life, they say.

Good to hear the strain is easing up. The 4x4 at 80% pain free and physio plan both sound like the right direction while you bridge to the Cross Linked injection next week. @Simoneme
Stay on the lighter CrossFit work and bike sessions until the knee stabilizes again. Just slow please!

TRT absolutely helps with tissue recovery, so use this window as a smart deload phase, and start logging even before you resume full training, to track how the knee responds long term. Make sure to push in bpc/tb combo in there.

Sounds like a tough stretch personally, but you’re handling it with balance and honesty. Keep your routines consistent, talk openly when you can, and focus on the few controllable things each day. The structure of training and small wins in recovery often clear your head and make the rest easier to manage. Life is like that, can be up can be down, you'll never have perfection, but in the gym you can feel the changes for you and your life, that's how I see it :D

Can you guys get CBD in Italy? It's helped me a lot with my bad knees and wrist.

Man how do you lose your license for that in Italy of all places. I've heard when you ride bikes fast in the Dolomites the police will pull you over to correct your form LOL. All the European motorcycle guys talk about how great the Italian and Spanish cops are towards bikers.

One of my life's dreams is to get out there and ride a Ducati through the mountains to Bologna and visit the factory.

Maybe I'll be more careful now haha

Never be sorry for unloading on here bro. We're here to listen and to relate and believe me I do. Sometimes the Universe or God or whatever you wanna call it gives us a sledgehammer over the head to just have us stop everything and reevaluate and look around. As bodybuilders and me especially as a recovered addict I needed many sledgehammers even the death sledgehammer and that wasn't enough to have me stop and look around. They were all gifts for me to have an opportunity to reassess and I didn't see that nor take the opportunity. So now you can't drive, problems with missus and your knee is fucked. Don't take this the wrong way but this might all be good? You're being put in a situation where you can look at all these problems as a way to surrender to the fact that now you have to really slow down and deload your life and look at what's important to you. Do you love her and is she worth slowing everything else down for and rebuilding? Can you find a way of making having no licence be a positive for you for those 20 days? Can you go with the flow of this knee injury and work harder on lagging body parts elsewhere while the leg heals knowing that in a year it will come back bigger and stronger than it was before?

I guess what I'm saying is be kind to yourself, get up, dust off, recalibrate and reengage because you got this brother. If you wanna read my story I've included a link to page 10 of my log and the gym, health, fitness, getting sober, and now EVO too has me in check and gets me through life on life's terms.

Bro CBD should help a lot. It won't totally take the pain away but it sort of dulls the pain to where it's easy to ignore.

Sweet Guzzi bro! We only get a few models over here in Canada. I ride and Aprilia rsv4 factory. My Italian stallion lol.

You can still ride. You just need to remove the number plates and be faster than the carabinieri LOL.

All pretty good, considering it was 6.40 am class I felt pretty strong and ready, self TRT is really kicking in week after week and I'm pretty happy with this decision. Plus, I started pinning my delts which is way easier and less painful thant glutes area, at least to me!

For breakfast, just before the Gym, I usually take some Glycobol - Cluster Dextrin from Yamamoto+ orange juice
this only when I have to work out early and I can't digest breakfast, to me it's a good lifesaver, quick energy / carbs.

@Simoneme why do you need to fill your muscles with glycogen pre workout? unless you are trying to induce more pumps or a powerlifter i wouldn't do that. let your muscles work more naturally and in a fasted state. you will have way more energy believe it or not by NOT throwing 'quick sugars/carbs' at your system. simple reason is your body will have to process that sugar while you train, and it will also spend its time burning that excess glycogen vs. attacking those fat stores instead. so you are giving it more work to do while you train which will hurt energy, not help

bros i think pre workout if you don't want to train fasted a good option is some eggs lightly cooked. and then adding some fruit. that a good and healthy option @Simoneme

i know people swear by hyaluronic acid as a supplement. Had no clue that you could inject it. @Simoneme Definitely let us know if it was a good investment or not.
 
@Simoneme why do you need to fill your muscles with glycogen pre workout? unless you are trying to induce more pumps or a powerlifter i wouldn't do that. let your muscles work more naturally and in a fasted state. you will have way more energy believe it or not by NOT throwing 'quick sugars/carbs' at your system. simple reason is your body will have to process that sugar while you train, and it will also spend its time burning that excess glycogen vs. attacking those fat stores instead. so you are giving it more work to do while you train which will hurt energy, not help

Basically after it I was ok, then in the night my knee Started inflating like a melon, had a sleepless night in pain. Basically I was full of synovial liquidi. Holy shit.
I Just came home from the hospital ( Today no working, I couldn't barely walk) and I got drained 75 cc of Juice. Now I feel sooooo god mate. I will have some bench presses and pullups / shoulder isolated workout till next week. I was prescripted some arcoxia for deflating 100% but Now I can walk sit up and dress myself at least. Again, Holy shit bro. But I will come back stringere :)
TRT is very helpful mate, more energy in the morning, its a blessing

I do crossfit so Power lifting and cardio at high intensity mate. At the moment no classic gym workout

Thats it, I wont get a prothesis for sure, so when I will deload in the gym, I will preserve myself with acid. At the moment I can squat below parallel, both front back and also overhead. Im not putting too much stress and I avoid big sets of air squat or wall ball

i would think stretching and mobility work will atleast lube that knee. also loading up in joint supps

@Simoneme i've heard good things on it. But make sure you keep us updated. I think if it works well for you, a lot of people can also look at using it.

yeah there is a lot to say about revving up your HR and throwing sugars at your body pre workout. not a good idea. the sugar idea works if you are powerlifting. its a nice hack. but otherwise i don't recommend it. training fasted is the way to go, your body has enough stress to deal with.

All pretty good, considering it was 6.40 am class I felt pretty strong and ready, self TRT is really kicking in week after week and I'm pretty happy with this decision. Plus, I started pinning my delts which is way easier and less painful thant glutes area, at least to me!

Monday I’m scheduled to get the hyaluronic acid injection in my knee (I do this twice a year).
The hyaluronic acid injection is supposed to add/supplement to the existing synovial liquid which itself contains hyaluronic acid. You get this injection because you're supposed need more of it due to osteoarthritis or something similar going on in the knee.

Your injection flared up and was either too much bolus injection of the hyaluronic acid or it was a expected inflammatory response that went bad.

I know this because my Dad gets them and he's had a couple flares over the years. It's a local inflammatory response to what your body considers a foreign material and your body goes into overkill mode with it's immune response.

@Simoneme man delta is the way to go when pinning. But I always keep glutes in the rotation to keep scar tissue down
 
So, today I'm starting feeling quite better.
I don't want to overreach myself, but today I did the first Air squat at the parallel, so leg / joint is getting smoother.
The product injected is cross linked (this mean it's high molecular weight - very viscous - less subjet to degrading), hence the sensation is a bit weird, like having a big cushion in between, but looks like it's working; now I can stand up after minutes of sitting without thinking too much on it.
I was still able to workout because after warm up the joint was painless, but my problems were related to walking, standing up for a long time and so on. Anyhow, I will update you all in few days, my doctor said keep the faith, and so I will.. he said he's never seen such a reaction in all his career, but he didn't looked so worried after all.
I'm an optimistic person, I'm sure I'll be back soon!
In the meanwhile, I'm training like Johnny Bravo, so chest pump, byceps, shoulders, and pull ups :)

yesterday I did as follow (typical jail movie sets)
10-8-6-4 (old school bench) press set (50-60-70-80 kg) + 12 reps at 50 (closed pyramid)
Inclined bench presses (3x8) at 50
Behind-the-neck press at 30 (3x12)
Biceps standing curl 12x2
Bent row at 40 kg
5 SLOW clean and power jerks at 60 kg (light)

I had only 40 minutes so that's what I was able to combine.

Tomorrow I will test some bar work (muscle ups / pull ups), because we do kick a lot during kipping pull phase so I don't want to push to muck on legs while kicking.
And If I will be able, I will try also some barbell stuff, maybe hang position with low load and fast movements.

Good progress man. Hitting parallel air squats pain free means that cross linked injection is doing its job and recovery is on track. :D
Be positive, remember these are just small set backs. lets see what the doc says.

You need to find a doctor that you trust. @Simoneme It's no different than hiring a plumber or an electrician or a roofer. If you don't trust the people, then of course you're going to be scared that they're going to screw it up.

@simonme Bros. It's normal to be scared. When I went through my incidences with my plumbing accident it was tough. I was bedridden for 2 years. Very scary situation for me.

I'm feeling faster on my knees now, increased a lot my catch speed during cleen, such a sensation...

I will compare the new viscous product to the previous one which started to degradate in 2 months

Still deloading, preparing for January Deca + Boldenone slam which I will discuss further.
I'm looking forward to test deca joint support and to try the mix with boldenone / testo / deca if It will lead to a good jacked look.

Yeah sure on december / january I will do blood prior to the cycle, and to check if Trt is doin good. As you said, 1-1 test / eq could balance. If not I could try to increase a bit testo / lower eq in the 4/6th week, correct? Anyhow we will have plenty of time to discuss this later i believe :)

@Simoneme That is a heck of a workout right there. Just be careful with those knees. No reason to cause bigger issues. Keep up the smart training.

Those damn knees are really tough to deal with. @Simoneme I hurt my knees as well. Years ago I was playing basketball and twisted the wrong way.

And why are you smoking and drinking and hoping (almost a side issue) of low test results?

Leg workout was 4 RM max back squat + 48 back squat 60 kg from the ground (adding some cardio / conditioning rope climb and double unders) in 12 minutes. To me it was quite challenging. I'm not chasing muscle definition / bulking, I do crossfit hence my aim is to be strong enough to handle this kind of conditioning.
I'm on self trt now, 150 mg per week, and I'm testing now or next week in order to be ready for january blast (deca / boldenone).
I don't hope definitely for low test results, I was just asking about the interaction between beer and potential distort in results.
I have 2 cigs per day, some spliff in the weekend with few pints, just for relaxing the brain after a working / workout week.
In particular, this friday I will do a Dj Set on a friend's pub, and it has been a long time since I missed this kind of parties.
Stating this, for sure I won't test on saturday morning. I'm sure I'm not the best athlete in the world, I'm just an amateur gym bro which sometimes loves to feel like my "normal" friends which are the most, and doesn't want to give the impression to be that much fitness mainac, if you got me.
I do have many friends from the gym, but I'm coming from a totally different environment; I used to booze a lot 10 / 12 years ago and since fitness crossed my life, I reduced 80 / 90 %.

@Simoneme set a goal to drop it 100%. bad lifestyle is only holding you back. drinking is ridiculously bad, it strains your liver to hurt your energy and recovery

my man smoking cigs doesn't relax the brain at all. it actually makes you more nervous. that is hard to comprehend for people but its the truth. you merely get a quick dopamine rush and then you crash back down to earth again. until you quit the smoking entirely you will just be holding yourself back @Simoneme

Brothers, I definitely didn’t join this community to be encouraged to drink or indulge in unhealthy habits. After all, this is a fitness community.
That said, I believe we already put stress on our bodies every day with medications, drinks, powders, and substances that could be potentially harmful—especially in this environment. So let’s not get too "straight edge" about it. Personally, I won’t make alcohol the center of my life, but I come from a region known for its exceptional wines and fine food, where a glass of red wine is sometimes even recommended by doctors.
The thing is, I’m not willing to spend 180+ bucks and risk messing up my exams, so I definitely won’t be testing this Saturday. As for having a few pints? Sure! I’m not about to go on stage or compete in CrossFit anymore (and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, honestly).
Apologies if I’ve offended or bothered anyone—it’s possible the language is playing tricks on me. Thanks for understanding.

then

50-20-30 toes to bar - 1 arm db shoulder to overhead (was 30 kg, did with 22,50)

I still have some pain in femoral bycep, hence I can not jump or land as I wish, especially in jerks.

AND most important... TOMORROW I WILL BE BACK ON THE ROAD AGAIN, my missus collected my driving license today :)

I have the opinion that the two cannot exist together, I personally dont drink or smoke, but dont judge those who do. I just appreciate the stress that these compounds do put our bodies under and am not willing to add to that, further to it, the recovery aspect from drinking ruins my workouts for days.

However - there is a social element for some, and thats important too, but probably more important to absolutely do bloods regulary as its even more stress on your organs.

That said, your sessions and work rate look great.

You make a good point about balance but drinking should stay minimal if you want performance and recovery to stay sharp. :D
Your sessions look strong even with the injury so keep the work tight and let the leg settle before pushing jumps. @Simoneme

Monday WOD:

Player A --> skierg cal
Player B+C
210 power cleans kg 70
150 front squat kg 70 (from the ground)
And rotate
Goal is finishing power cleans / front squat, and reach 150 cal each.
The original workout was 80 kg, but this was for the big boys.

Tuesday WOD:
EMOM 1'
Player A: 3 muscle up + 6 handstandpushups
In remaining time player B 6 push jerk + player A 6 push jerk kg 70
switch every minute

This has to be scaled, 2 muscle ups + 4 hspu // kg 50 4/5 push jerk (this specific movement stresses a lot my knee, I'm not 100% ready yet).
original WOD was Push Jerk 70 kg; no one did it, big boys did 60.

Wednesday WOD:
21 rounds
3 db devil press single arm kg 22.50
6 box jumps over
9 deadlift 80

Thursday WOD:
30 rounds
player A --> 5 bench press kg 80 (this will be scaled to 70 kg, still no big boys elite for me)
