Best thing for inner chest

I have a week inner chest and I'm looking for that tight butt crack looking inner chest.

What is the best thing to do to improve the inner chest and the chest as a whole.

I recently started focusing on the peck deck with a squeeze at the top

Just build a big chest. Period. None of this inner chest or lower bicep nonsense. As your chest gets bigger your "inner chest" will get bigget also

Like guys who want a bigger quad sweep on their vastus lateralis they think by targeting that it'll get bigger. It will get bigger when your quads get bigger. Same with your chest. You want deep man cleavage? Build a thick solid chest from every angle not focusing on one part.

Ring Dips, dumbbell bench, cable flys: make it a whole day at the gym. Focus on strength over looks

I have a weak chest due to breast surgery. Incline dumbbell presses and Flys have helped me tremendously.

I have found over the years that when I wanted to get my Chest Bigger.
I needed to Step-Up my Work Load.
So that may Entail doing Chest 2 or even 3 Times a Week for a Period of Time.

Also, if you have a Workout Partner finish up with some Forced Reps.
We use to move over to the Universal and start with the Entire Rack.
Then do 10 Reps, and move the Pin by 1 and do 10, and when necessary your Partner will Assist you.
By the Time you get to the almost the Top of the Rack, your Chest will be On Fire and your Partner may be doing most of the Work.
You do this for the Entire Rack with No Rest doing 10 Reps for each Setting on the Machine.......................... JP
P.S.
If that doesn't Illicit some Growth, nothing will.

The best thing you can do to target your upper inner chest is to really focus on the area when doing any chest movement. HOW you perform the movement is just as important as what movement you perform. The vast majority of people have an over developed lower chest, so being a stronger and larger muscle, it will take the majority of the work doing the movement unless you are focusing on your upper inner chest.

The exercises that I have had the best results with to bring up my upper inner chest are narrow grip bench press and incline flys using a cable machine.

Close grip push up is a good finisher and strict dumbbell fly's too. Practice flexing during them and do static holds just flexing the crap out of every fiber. Posing and flexing is beneficial even if you don't go on stage.

I find that the Pullover and Butterfly exercises are the most effective for the inner part of my chest. Therefore, you may try those as well, and see if they work for you too.

I think nobody has mentioned losing body fat. as men we tend to store body fat in our chests more than just about every other areas aside belly or butt.

shaping a body part and spot training to get striations can only be accomplished by losing more body fat as a whole

Can anyone attest to Less is more when it comes to natural lifting, I usually go hard and to failure almost every workout, but I know over training everyone has an opinion, and it seems that most people who preach that overtraining is bullshit is people on gear. I think there might be something to overtraining, and some you should vary between going to failure and taking it easy, I usually walkout the gym roasted but for the time leading up to when I start my cycle I am going to see how less volume affects me.

Since I'm starting a my first cycle soon, will more volume, more angles, and more days a week bring up my chest and other weak points while on cycle. If that's the case I'm gonna destroy my chest and arms.

I like to add in DB hex press with those and really squeeze going up.

I can only speak for myself, but when I'm On Cycle there's No Limits for me.
But to Clarify, Decades of Training and Cycles have taught me what I can do.

So if I really need to Boost a Body Part.
I'll do Century Sets or Drop Set or Forced Reps or a Combo throughout my Cycle.
But If you're doing the above, you would only want to Include these as a Plateau Breaker, and only Once a Month.
As any 1 of the 3 on their Own can Lead very quickly to Over-training even if On Cycle.

This is why I stress keeping a Log of what you're doing and the results.
Only you know what your Body can reasonably take........................................ JP

I like to do incline flies, but its much more about how you do the movement and hold the contraction, and even the negative part of the movement..

I dont understand how someone can target their inner chest since the fibers run horizontally, the fiber activates the same from left to right so I don't know how you could put more strain on a certain side of the fiber (inner)?

I agree with the first poster, just get your chest big and do some incline work. If you are not benching 1.5x your BW, then I wouldn't worry about which part of the chest you wanna build. Build a foundation first

I love big chest. easy to do man. train heavy one day a week and do volume another. I personally do 6-8 weeks heavy phase m/w/f 5x5s and then for 4-6 weeks after that go hardcore volume where ill do close to 5-600 reps on chest that day. keep it basic. bench, incline dumb bells press and dips man
