Approved Log Brown collar job Log - healing, maintenance phase

I have yet to make it as good as some store bought stuff, but I’ve made really good biltong before. The store stuff almost always has at least brown sugar in it and I’m going to cave in and use that on my next batch. If you eat the jerker while it’s still being made or still warm, it’s one of the best things you’ll ever eat… with just salt! It’s hard to complete a batch because I’ll eat it all. It’s definitely a learning curve and it doesn’t save much money. I think it takes more than a pound of meat to make a big bad of jerky from the store

Scale went up today finally. 181. I thought yesterday was my rest day, but today I barely got out of bed. I just slept, scrolled and ate. Felt like I needed it. Big week ahead

Idk guys. I’m feeling really lethargic. I think I pulled too many levers at once. I lowered my kratom use by like 80%. Halved my “trt”. And a lot less caffeine. It felt good to rest yesterday but today I’m underwater and I have stuff to do. Well. Fuck it. I’ll stay the course. What’s a few bad days?

I'm not big on kratom myself. The lethargic is not always gear related @toddthelineman and I wouldn't lower doses that can mess things up big time especially TRT lowering, keep the gear level same. what your gear use now vs ai?

some days you need that extra rest. for me fridays and weekends are my days i like to get an extra nap in. i kill it the entire week and i need that break

I'm not big on kratom myself. The lethargic is not always gear related @toddthelineman and I wouldn't lower doses that can mess things up big time especially TRT lowering, keep the gear level same. what your gear use now vs ai?
I was taking 210mg a week, my blood work of course had high hematocrit and it probably has been for like four years. So a little over a week ago I dropped to 90mg a week. I don’t take an AI, I have never felt like I needed one.

Kratom was a real life saver for me, but it has become more of a habit than anything. I’ve quit a few times before, and for the most part I can control my chronic pain issues. It’s not that I can’t handle pain, but when it never ends for months at a time it can really mess with you and kratom has been by far my best option. Some people are immediately averse to it. Not me. It improves my mood and energy, and the side effects are minimal, although it might be messing with my liver enzymes. I need to cut it out completely and recheck.

It would be awesome to just load a smoker up with meat, set it and forget it. If I can do that I’m going to buy one
Get a pellet fed Trager or something along those lines. Literally set it and forget it. You can even control the heat over wifi on some of them. My bro has one and all he does is dump in the pellets, throw in the meat, program his phone and done. It's pretty amazing

Ya I was amazed when my bro showed it too me. He's harcore about BBQ. He smoked a turkey for Thanksgiving last year and it was the greatest thing I've ever tasted. Never knew a turkey could have that much flavour and be that moist. I think they're a bit pricey but it's a buy once cry once thing. They're built like tanks
 
Thats a huge drop in trt. Id think it wouod make more sense to go to maybe 120 to 140 mg rather than dropping to 90mg after running 210. Thats less than half the dosage

I suppose .15 ml 3x a week would be easy enough. That would put me at 135. I went from .1 daily to .1 three times a week.

It was a knee jerk reaction to my blood work, which wasn’t that bad but it’s not what I want and I’d like to do a cycle, but if I did that with already marginal hematocrit and liver enzymes… it would be really bad for sure and I just don’t need that in my life. I need to be reasonably healthy first and foremost. Then I can have the room to play around.

I actually did power through it today and feel much better now. I waterskied like ten sets back to back in cold air/cool water. Wake you right up!

For sure man. I still get my basic shit done. I don’t let depression or moods completely rule my life. I did get up and cook and feed the damn cats and all that, but on a normal day I’m doing ttttthhhhheeee most

@toddthelineman instead of lowering TRT, go donate blood first, when was the last time you donated?
