Hi guys. Long term on trt now. Dutch test has confirmed my DHT and 5a reductase are both super low, don't seem to convert well. Didn't notice benifits of compounded mesterolone. Drs won't help out. Looking for andactrim to try if anyone knows sources. Cheers

welcome to the EVO family :D @AudaciousDuck
If you'd like a source check our Q4 approved suppliers from AU

But Low DHT isn’t just conversion from test, it also depends on liver enzyme activity, zinc, and thyroid function that regulate 5a-reductase. When those pathways are low, even added proviron won’t raise DHT much because it bypasses conversion but doesn’t fix enzyme efficiency.

Before using andactrim, get zinc, vitamin D, thyroid, and liver markers checked and consider low dose boron or nettle root to support DHT naturally.
If you dont want to do the tests, just start using zinc before bed and increase your vitamin D intake, while modifying your diet.

What is your diet training like on your TRT? and what is your TRT dose?

If you could post a screen shot of your bloodwork that would help. Did they do SHBG, Free Test, e2, prolactin as well?

Cheers for the response guys. This is a Dutch test I done recently. Will be doing more bloods soon for my repeat. But my dr wasn't aware what a Dutch test was and wasn't interested in it. Currently I've been put on 150mg test E a week, arimidex (I'm aware how people feel about ais but I seem to always run high oestrogen with out em) DHEA and HCG but HCG does nothing for me. Diets not perfect but also not terrible. On trt for 6 years now. Dr probably put me on trt when I was to young but it is what it is now.

yes I've seen deep testing like this before but many times that's the outcome not how you got there @AudaciousDuck
can you tell us more about your diet training? sleep?
and how did you get on TRT young? what was the issue?

Still training weights and cardio regularly. Cycling mostly now (bikes not gear) I work FIFO so shift work disrupts sleeping until I'm on break. Diets what ever camp serves up but on break mostly clean generally just chicken rice eggs and vegies. As for trt I was a moron at 19 started messing with tren but had pct seized one time and never recovered. Started seeing a gp and after 2 and a bit years of not recovering after not touching gear they put me on trt at 26 or 27? Obviously dug myself a hole but that's the position I put my self in 🤷. Initially GPs put me on just 250mg one injection a fortnight but went to telehealth and doing twice weekly now for 150mg a week. But despite bloods being in range now still feel flat on trt with libido being the biggest issue which is why I'm leaning towards urine tests now. I don't recall ever testing for vitamins etc but usually my ast and alt come back slightly elevated. Sometimes my thyroids come back elevated but drs said they wherent concerning, there is history of hypothyroidism and prolactinoma for dad.

In Australia you were able to get TRT? what was your lowest test level? @AudaciousDuck

But my dr wasn't aware what a Dutch test was and wasn't interested in it.
You'll find better more researched and informed feedback on here more than your own family doc almost 100% of the time.

Yeah mate took a couple of years of consistently being below 15? I think. with elevated LH before the doc decided to help. Did have to embarrassingly take mum in with me though after trying for so long for my dr to agree.
That's a new thing for me I really thought they dont give out TRT scrips in Australia @AudaciousDuck
can you share some pics of the test they give you? the vials? interesting to see

Oh wow, so high aromatization but low DHT conversion...man talk about a double whammy. Sorry to hear this bro. We should tag you everytime one of these 18 year old kids comes on here asking us for cycle advice. Maybe you could get through to them on a person level.

Your situation is very unique and way over my head. Guys like @LevButlerov and @stevesmi can definitely help you out though.

Best of luck with this bro!

who did you use for telehealth TRT? I see a few places advertised - and its usually the way people go before going UGL to save money (how I went anyway). The people I used (PHC) I don't think are around anymore.

Yeah mate. Not so much through local drs but telehealth clinics have made it easier here just have to pay inflated prices. Alot wouldn't help because of my age still despite having been on trt through legitimate clinics even with letters from my original dr though. Will be switching to a compounded scrotal cream next repeat as I've read it has higher DHT conversion and will definitely do bloods for vitamins and what not now. Whether or not I'll notice that with such low 5a though I'm not sure.

Na PHC closed. Right now using alpha edge but will be trying to switch to primal zone.

Yeah I've always been open talking about it with people but people will do what they want to do at that age myself included 🤣

Yea I probably wouldn't have listened either. Luckily, or maybe not, steroids were the only drugs I didn't do lol.

I really hope you can find a solution that works for you. It's not fair to have lifetime problems from mistakes you make as a young guy.

That's straight up Bayer amps, nice pharma grade :D @AudaciousDuck
do you keep your training diet log right now?

Na never logged anything before.
Has anyone here had experience with adding low dose progesterone and pregnenolone to their trt regime? My Dutch test shows heavy suppression in my progesterone metabolites. And past tren use apparently suppresses them hard. I've read promising things on it but after speaking to a dr who isn't my trt clinic today he wanted nothing to do with it either. Being primary hypo as I was told when I started trt it's likely an issue but apparently something drs won't prescribe in Australia if this doc wasn't just trying to push me out.

Progesterone and pregnenolone gaps can make a difference but it doesn't mean you should add them. Those blood tests can be variable day to day and I would stay on the base regiment first, add some proviron to start @AudaciousDuck

post your full TRT setup and let’s build it out in a log, this is a huge step for EVO Aussie brothers to see a real TRT log from a doc
You should start a TRT log so we can really track this properly and see what’s happening over weeks, will take you 15min to throw it up. see DM
