I started focusing on my health ~1 year ago and have gone from ~50% BF down to 25% but have stalled the last several months (gaining 2-3 lbs of muscle a month and losing 2-3 lbs of fat) and looking for advice on how to break the stall…
Weight:
- 88kg @ 25% BF
Training:
- Lift 3-4X week
- Do 15-20 mins of cardio after each lifting session and 30-45 min additional session 1x week
Diet:
- Around 1700-2000 cals (240-260g protein, 120-150g carbs, plus some minimal healthy fats)
- have tried a refeed day once a week but didn’t help so gave that up as I just found myself spending most the week working off the weight gain from it
PEDs (9-12 months usage):
- 20mg TestC daily (~1200 Total T, ~60 e2)
- 3iu HGH before bed and 1.5iu in AM
- 10mg Tirzepatide weekly and 1mg Reta weekly (the Reta has really helped lower glucose)
- Usually do 500mg of L-Carn on training days
Thoughts, but open to ideas:
- I’m thinking it may be my thyroid slowing down… so I was thinking of grant my Free T3/T4, TSH and Reverse T3 checked and potentially supplement with T4/T3
- I don’t really understand how to effectively use the T4/T3 and I’m wondering if the following makes sense:
Take enough T4 to get it between 1-2 on bloodwork
Take enough T3 to get it to between 3.5-4.3 on bloodwork
Reverse T3: as low as possible, and this can be done via taking the following supplements daily: Iodine, Selenium (200mcg/mg?), Zinc Gluconate (50mg), Magnesium (bichlomonate before bed)
TSH: As close as one as possible (not important)
My other thought was to do 1-2 months of 20mcg clen in the AM and 250mcg of SLUPP332 with each meal…
