Hey everyone, RM here.
Things have changed significantly for me recently in terms of work and daily routines. I’ve started FIFO in a solid position, with an income that’s been a huge positive for my family. My current roster is 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off, though it’s flexible and may shift depending on projects and personal commitments. (Which it already has)
That said, this has thrown a bit of a spanner in the works. I originally planned to compete in Season C, but with everything happening at home, the demands of a new role, and the reality of FIFO life—limited cooking facilities and relying on supplied meals—dialling in a perfect contest prep just isn’t realistic right now.
So I’ve made the call that this year is about pushing growth.
I’ve never been particularly comfortable sitting above the 100kg mark. I’ve only been there once before, and it wasn’t in a great place physically or mentally. This year, though, the goal is different. I want to carry a bit more size than people are used to seeing on me, while still prioritising how I feel and keeping my health in check.
Last year I reached 98kg, but I felt terrible—my gut was cooked and I had to pull the pin. I spent my most recent cycle easing back into a weight I could hold comfortably, focusing on feeling better rather than just being heavier.
For the next few weeks, I’ll be cruising, getting myself healthy, dialled in, and ready—while planning the upcoming blast and ways to manage nutrition properly.
And naturally still running the Glorious PED'S from the one and only @UGL OZ

Up next - managing a diet on fifo
followed by growth plan
More to come. 💪

@R M it's a very tough job and very tough lifestyle but like you said, you're making good money and that's the most important thing.

@R M it's good that you're trying something new this year. You never know if you're going to like it unless you do it. Seems like you got a good read on your body and this will be a good test, especially considering your tough job situation.

Wow those are some big changes in your life, man, but the beauty part is that you're making good money for your family so that's really nice. You'll be able to balance training and your job. I'm excited to see how you do it as others have @R M
