Hope so. Tomorrow will be session 3 coming off a rest day. These first 2 sessions were abysmal so any sign of improvement would be really welcomed.

Endurance fades so quickly right now. DOMS are very pronounced after this time off. My body needs to remember how to manage this type of training again. Lats very very sore going into last night's session and it definitely hurt me my pressing abilities.

My right knee was feeling a bit better on the single leg extensions. I've been working through an injury and a newly discovered imbalance in my right knee. I was able to hit reps to failure without any pain which was a real positive. The time off was great for that.

Big thanks and love to the EVO fam for helping realize this weakness I'm experiencing is part of the process and helping pick my spirits back up. You guys are the best!

The only time I have to do some real plumbing I developed a lot of respect for the trade. Had to bust up my concrete floor to rough in a new bathroom in my basement. That was pretty tough work.

I do a fair bit of trench work but I just tell the GC to hire some labourers to dig cuz you don't wanna pay my rates to have a trench dug lol

yes after my wife plunged off the balcony not only did i enjoy a nice drink at a the pool at the resort but i also flew back the next day and was in the office working. that is how alpha's roll

I work a lot of insurance jobs post fires and that's literally my biggest fear for me and my guys. I always walk the property first before I let any of my helpers or apprentices go in. I went through the floor once but luckily it was right next to a floor joist so only my 1 leg went though and all that ended up happening with some scraped thigh and bruised ass.

You were right bro. Big improvements from the last 2 sessions. Well for the most part. Chest sucked but I'm still sore as hell from Tuesday. Other body parts are mostly within 2 reps of usual. I worked 11 hours today and I'm cooked but it's getting better. You nailed it @2Thick

Hopefully by next week I'll be back to normal again

go slow make sure you warm up the knee and massage it before starting

Ok I'll do my best. I'm heading up North with the family this weekend so the macros get a little bit harder to control. I'm more stuck eating what everyone else is eating versus having constant food prep. I can manage though, just might not be perfect.

Deca seems to be working good for me, what I’ve been doing should be destroying my shoulders but so far so good🤞 I’m doing 150mg on sundays. It’s just easy math. .5ml

It made me feel kinda shitty but proviron helped at least 75%. The other 25% probably nothing to do with drugs lol

Yea it's why we have a hard time with apprentices, to much to learn. We don't focus on one area and instead do a little bit of everything. That way if one industry slows down we always have work. In the same day I can go from a house, to a condo, to a retail store, then to a hospital. The only thing we don't get much of anymore is industrial. All our customers left Canada for India or Mexico. I kinda miss working on big machines that I know nothing about lol.

Yea the French girls are great. First time I got to 3rd base was with a French girl I picked up on a school sleep over trip in Montreal lol. Back then they sold cigarettes in vending machines so I was smoking there too haha

Late update tonight after a hectic day. Started the morning off going on the podcast so my workday started a bit late. Ended up working really late, and had a ton to do at home. One thing was installing a new hang over range microwave after ours died and the install became a pain the in the ass. Couldn't train tonight and I just finished my office work now.

Yesterdays training was a big improvement over the previous two sessions. I was able to get within 1-2 reps of normal on most movements. Had to skip the deadlifts because I just didn't have any gas left in the tank. Feeling very sore from the training and my energy levels are pretty low still. Those antibiotics really messed me up. But I'm on the path to getting back to normal so that's really encouraging.

Big refeed tonight and some sleep will do me good.

I don't usually see anything new at work but I was pretty surprised to find this today (pic below). Had a bit of a time pulling the breakers outta this panel and found a dead rat behind the breakers. Seems he tried to make a home in there and got a big shock, literally. You can see where his arm liquefied on the top of the breaker LOL. First time seeing that one.

I miss being in my 20s. Back then no medication could knock me off my game. I remember drinking and partying on antibiotics and no effects lol...getting old sucks sometimes haha

My old boss became a power lineman after the cable market shit the bed. During his apprenticeship he went with some meter guys on a rain day to a new building, fell right through the floor. Elbow needed surgery

Antibiotics make me worse off in the long run everytime I have taken them, I have read that they destroy the gut bacteria which makes sense, I do try to avoid them whereever possible now, and besides Australia barely prescribes them anyway it seems.

I get the demand from work cutting into training, sometimes I feel I dont have anywhere near enough hours in the day - still a solid session though

Pretty good sleep score with not much sleep

Our mouths are full of bacteria and with an exposed bone I thought it's a must. I remember I read once that a dog's mouth is cleaner than a humans... And they lick their own asses lol

Yesterday was a crazy ass day. Missed my training last night because I didn't have any free time at all. Like literally none.. I got 30 mins just before bed to respond to a few posts and update my log and that was that. Workn all day

Needless to say I was pretty damn hungry last night and I got the green light from @LevButlerov to up my macros so I ate like a pig at dinner lol. Full large rack of baby back ribs, 3 big chicken tenders, and a box of French fries. It was a cheat and a half. Felt good going down but it hurt my sleep. I really don't respond well to cheat meals. But it was delicious.

Went on the podcast yesterday morning and the episode is already out today. Had a blast with @stevesmi and @Mobster as always. I listened to a bit and I'm happy to hear I wasn't too lispy with my missing tooth. If I put my fake tooth in its hard to talk so I chose the lesser of the 2 evils.

I have had many conversations regarding people’s first realizations of just how much illegal drugs are being consumed. It’s mind blowing. People have no idea until they’re involved. I was just talking with a friend, her baby dad had been a drug addict but she had never used any real drugs. And she never knew that at almost every bar, at any given time, people are doing coke. I remember being in the parking lot and thinking “there’s more people in their cars doing lines than there are in the bar, by a lot” but I never noticed until I had been bitten by the vampire. It was all invisible to me. When I got into dealing larger amounts of weed, I got exposed to a lot more. Then I could really see the scale of it all. Planes, boats, trains, cars, walking with bales. They are just bringing as much as they can as fast as they can and we go through it as fast as they can bring it.

Yesterday was a crazy ass day. Missed my training last night because I didn't have any free time at all. Like literally none.. I got 30 mins just before bed to respond to a few posts and update my log and that was that. Workn all day

Needless to say I was pretty damn hungry last night and I got the green light from @LevButlerov to up my macros so I ate like a pig at dinner lol. Full large rack of baby back ribs, 3 big chicken tenders, and a box of French fries. It was a cheat and a half. Felt good going down but it hurt my sleep. I really don't respond well to cheat meals. But it was delicious.

Went on the podcast yesterday morning and the episode is already out today. Had a blast with @stevesmi and @Mobster as always. I listened to a bit and I'm happy to hear I wasn't too lispy with my missing tooth. If I put my fake tooth in its hard to talk so I chose the lesser of the 2 evils.

Pushups is a cool idea. I can do a regular push up because of my reduced ROM in my right wrist from my surgeries. I can do knuckles tho, not ideal, or usually I used DBs for deficit pushups.

Have you noticed any issues with your chat box lately? I've tried reloading the site multiple times and all chat options like changing font or stuff like that is blanked out. Here's a screenshot. And see how my quotes are showing up too.

Not a whole lot to report from yesterday, just working away at the cottage in the freezing cold rain. Really really shitty day. Wanted to take some pictures but I didn't even get to do much of anything other than work and it looked like crap the whole time cuz it just rained and rained.

Everything's now winterized up there and put away. Summer is definitely officially over.

On a shitty note my wife started feeling really sick last night. Pretty bad flu-like symptoms. On the drive home tonight all of sudden started feeling like I have a fever. My immune system is still trying to bounce back from the antibiotics for the dental surgery, so I'm weak and vulnerable to viruses lol. Hopefully it doesn't get me fully. Elderberry and extra vitamin C FTW.

Yea so true. Atleast there Christmas. After that its a very long haul til spring. I never thought about it, but must be weird down there with Christmas coming in the middle of summer? Then winter doesn't even have Christmas...that's even crazier to think about than the toilet flushing the wrong way haha

My fake tooth is this retainer looking thing with the little tooth on the front. It's weird cuz having the whole retainer set up under your tongue messes with the way you speak a fair bit. But if I take it out then I'm missing a bottom tooth right in the middle and it makes me lispy LOL. Can't win

@BeMe The engineer in me says no way do toilets flush the opposite way in the southern hemisphere. is that something you've witnessed? i don't think that is how it works. tornados spin the opposite way as do cyclones

its just as weird to them too. when i travel seeing different countries and cultures seems strange. but if you live in those countries you adjust pretty quickly @BeMe

I did the exact same and my teeth never even moved. My mom used to always make me stand with my head tilted back so she could check and see if I was wearing my retainer or not LOL. She always thought my teeth were going to move cuz I wasn't wearing it. I broke off that wire they put on your bottom teeth and never put that one back either

Haha ya I always loved danger. Still do. I'm an electrician now. Working around certain death all the time. Honestly I only fell into that lifestyle cuz I was good at it so quickly. I only started just to make a couple bucks and have some free weed. Things just exploded really quickly LOL

Naw I wasn't much of an instigator past the age of 15. Somehow trouble always found me in weird ways. Sometimes there would be 20 of us standing on either side and guys on the other side would single me out for some reason. Never understood why. Maybe I'm like Will Ferrell in Stepbrothers and I have a punchable face LOL
